2nd time here.... 1st time eating outside. Beer is still solid. Enjoyed the vastly refreshing Magenta Hibiscus Ale. Light malt and hops, love the floral sour of the hibiscus. The food continues to be fine. Nothing wowzers but plenty of good with a few standouts - smoked Gouda pimento cheese continues to be a favorite. On to the bad news. If you are going to have outdoor seating you MUST address the fly issue. Sitting outside, under the fans while waiting for the Large Parties to get settled for a while was lovely. Then the beers arrived. The fly scouts started to do recon. Then the food arrived. This also meant the fly troops descended. Cooperative fly shooing was required. We were hungry and ate quick. This is a clear sign - y'all gotta police the trash far better, and set up some counter measures. Fly paper you change often while you're addressing the problem. Great shelter for a rainy night. The food was delicious and interesting. I had gumbo which was pretty good, though not incredibly spicy if that's what you look for. Dipping the provided bread in it though was spot on. Also, I recommend the pimento cheese spread. Smooth and creamy! read more

This was a nice recommendation for Sunday lunch! The setting is awesomely rustic, plenty of room for seating out and in, and a few TV's around to check out any games playing. The food was good, hot, and service was wonderful! Wife had chicken tenders which were very large and cooked perfect, I had the classic smash burger which was a little overcooked but still "fit the bill". I've heard great reviews about the shrimp po' boy too from the rest of my party. Now on to the beer!!! The beer is awesome!! They stay relevant to the seasons (Oktoberfest, etc.) with their offerings, but their regulars are on point. I did 2 flights of tasting and didn't have a bad beer--even the sour was nice and I usually stay away from those. Apparently its under a new brew master who is taking things to a whole new level. Michael Bischoff (brew master) gave us a tour of the brewery part which was very informative and definitely highlights their quality control and art of the craft--now I know why it's called "craft beer". Not only is the place super cute but it's DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I eat a lot of chicken sandwiches, they're his favorite. These fried chicken sandwiches are hands down the best we've ever had. Super nice staff, great cocktails, a chicken sandwich that's so delectable we will never forget it. I'd come back to Georgia for that sandwich alone. I would've gave more stars, but that's all they let me have. beer is terrific. The fried green tomatoes are the best there is none better. if you have never had fried green tomatoes, these have blue cheese on them and some other seasoning that you would never think it's a tomato. It is out of this world believe me I would've never thought there was such a thing as this. also, our server, Annie was a sweetheart really took good care of us with anything we needed to know. being from out of state when we're passing through we have to stop here. I went to Fox City Brewing for my best friend's wedding shower and it was wonderful. The staff are hard-working, reliable, and incredibly sweet people. The food and drinks were divine, and I will definitely be coming back for more. I highly recommend the chicken tenders. It's beautiful inside and so relaxing. The atmosphere made it perfect for the Bride and Groom's family and friends to mingle while still enjoying their delicious menu. Can't say enough good things about our visit to Fox City Brewing Company for lunch today. From the moment we were greeted at the door, to our interactions with our superb waitress, the whole staff here was friendly and attentive to our needs. And once we got our food, we'll let's just say I plan on visiting this establishment again real soon because our food was delicious! I had a hamburger with the sidewinder fries and my husband selected to dine on the chicken tenders and fries. We both were thrilled with our meals! I love going to this place anytime I can justify the trip. The space is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. In the back they have a bar area with TVs for watching sporting events. Constant rotation of their beers that are great. Also have wine and liquor. They do a good job of having drink specials. Only knock I have is the food is a little expensive for the amount you get. read more

We stopped here after seeing the billboard on the interstate. The place is BIG! Plenty of parking in back and then just cross the street to enter. The food was good- you know, bar food. My sister got the blackened shrimp tacos with slaw that she said were really good! Perfect spiciness. I got the basic burger and fries - unique and sorta swirly. Great beer choices and attentive waitstaff. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is because of how loud it was! I've been to Fox City a few times and the food is pretty decent, the restaurant is clean and has a friendly environment, and service is average. We went for lunch today, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad, my wife ordered a shrimp platter and we had water with lemon to drink. Wether the restaurant is super busy or slow, the food always takes 40-50 minutes to come out, so we're used to it. My side salad was prefect, crisp lettuce fresh cucumbers and tomatoes. The grilled chicken sandwich was dryer then saw dust. The lettuce tomato onion and bun were good but the chicken was overcooked and dry. The shrimp platter was ok, the shrimp were also overcooked and dry, the hush puppies that came with the platter tasted really good and were the highlight of the dish. The price is average for any sit down family restaurant. Our server was pleasant and checked on us regularly. On other visits I've had the burgers and fries and the burgers are usually pretty juicy and the fries are hot and fresh. Don't know if it was a new cook, or someone who didn't know how to cook chicken but I wouldn't recommend the grilled chicken, go for fried chicken or try a burger. read more

Tried it again even though I knew it would be bad from last visit but you can never be sure. Basically, this is what you get if you buy the more expensive pre-pepared items at Sam's Club and pretend it's cuisine; edible but just not good. There are people who have never had the real thing and like that stuff though.. Maybe you are one of those and will enjoy it. You may expect a review of a place with 'brewing' in the name to comment on beer. That would be a waste of all our times. They have brown carbonated liquid available to drink, but just don't. We absolutely enjoyed our date at Fox's City Brewing Co. we had Kaitlin as our waitress and she was so helpful as this was our first time eating there. She was so helpful when we asked what she preferred. We ordered the pretzel and I ordered wings and my husband ordered a burger. The building itself was sooooo charming! There were so many authentic characteristics to it and it was so spacious! We didn't have a hard time keeping ourselves apart from other customers. They had little bubble lights in strands draped around in areas and THEY ARE MY FAVORITE. When I see them it just makes me think of how the roof top restaurants in my favorite tv shows decorate. They add just enough light but are still dainty and cute. The pretzel was about 12 inches tall and had a mustard dip pjs sauce and a cheese dipping sauce. It was hot and steaming when you tore it apart from the whole one. It was like the ones I have seen on Diners, Drive-in's and Dives on the Food Network. The wings were crispy on the outside and drenched with sauce. The inside was perfectly cooked without being slimy, I HATE slimy wings. I'm not sure if the ranch was homemade but it was thick enough to stay on my wing but thin enough it spread out well and lasted till the end. The burger was fantastic and had a scoop of the pimento cheese on top that melted all gooey over the patty. It contained smoked Gouda and was delicious. We both had some of the fries which I was expecting to be curly fries but these fries, y'all--they were like curly potato logs or some fry hybrid. They were crunch and seasoned and ADDICTIVE! We will be going back soon! We love about 45 minutes away and it was absolutely worth the drive!! In fact, let me know and we will meet you, I need an excuse!! Well done, Forsyth! Fox City is on the decline! Service is still great that's why they received 2 stars as the only redeeming quality. Last night my wife and I had burgers. I took the top bun off to make sure there was meat. There was a tiny 3-4oz patty and we didn't order sliders but it was slider size. The sides were also skimpy. We should have sent them back had a couple of beers and gone to Hardees or McDonalds. Which opens up another point. Most of the beer taps were dry except for the 2 or 3 most popular. Seems to me like the owners are getting ready to shut down. If not, at the rate they're going they won't be in business long. Wish I had taken a picture of our plates to post. We haven't been to this restaurant in a while. We thought we'd give it another try. I got the Santa fe burger. It has pimento cheese and fried jalapeños. As you can see from my photo it came with one third of a jalapeño. The cold bun was so hard and stale. It was a sad excuse for a burger. The worst part is the Manager I believe brought my food out. I wanted to like this place. Went back 4 times trying to possibly have a better experience, give them the benefit of the doubt. My experience in a nutshell, I have been served the wrong drink (waitress even said I thought it was wrong but the bartender told me to serve it so she did), served a glass with someone else lipstick on it, served my food then had to wait 5 minutes for utensils, I could go on but I think you get the picture. It's slightly overpriced bar food really, nothing to write home about. The atmosphere has so much potential which is why I wanted this to be a good spot. My daughter and I were on a road trip and were looking for a place to stop, grab a bite to eat and a beer. I had a burger and it was really good! Daughter had a salad and we shared the pretzel and beer cheese. Everything was delicious. Did order a beer flight and ended up getting a growler to go. Very good! This place is great! We sat at the bar and were helped by Adriana, Pandora and Kelly. They were all lovely and attentive. Great service! We tried 3 of the house made beers and they were great!
