My wife and I just bought a 2015 Hyundai Genesis and I just have to say this dealership did everything right. I first went to this dealership in March of 2015 to test drive the car to make sure it was what I wanted. I informed the our Sales rep, Mike Groth that I wouldn't be looking to purchase till March of 2016. Throughout the summer Mike Groth kept in contact with us through email and when I took my wife there late summer to test drive the car Mike took time to run the numbers with us even though he knew we wouldn't be purchasing for months. did an amazing job at making the process seamless. But things fell into place sooner than I expected and I was able to purchase early December of 2015. They found us a car right off the boat with the exact color and package I wanted in the Genesis and handled everything to get the car delivered to the dealership. The car was expected to be delivered either before thanksgiving or immediately afterwards. During this time Mike would be on vacation but he made sure there was another Sales rep (Greg) there to answer my daily calls that week of Thanksgiving asking if the car had arrived. As I look back I may have called a bit excessively but hey if you've ever seen a Hyundai Genesis (2015-2016) then you would understand why I was like a kid waiting for Santa to come every morning lol. When the car finally came Mike had already had everything setup for our appointment and the process was so smooth and seamless. There were not any awkward moments during the paperwork process where something came up that was not previously discussed. And the explanation of the cars capabilities was spot on and to the point. Needless to say I drove home a very happy man. What I love about my experience the most is that it didn't end there. 3 weeks later I went up to the dealership to pick up some all-weather floor mats for my car and as I was about to leave I ran into Greg, the sales rep who I called daily with my "Is it here yet?" question while Mike was gone. Mentioned that I would be going to get a car wash at the Fox car wash after realizing that I didn't have the Fox emblem on the back of my car to go through the car wash without wasting anytime he took care of it. And as I was about to pull off Mike who had just finished up with a customer walked over to my car and asked how everything was going... "Great" I said and then he asked if I wanted them to replace the Hyundai logo that comes on the back of the car with the Genesis symbol and I was like Yea!!! lets do that lol. Before I left we had it scheduled to be done the following Wednesday. On Tuesday I got the confirmation email from Mike on the time and on Wednesday when I got there Mike was with another client but he didn't forget to let someone else know that I would be coming through so there was still someone there to personally take care of me. I am writing this review for anyone who has had an awkward moment when buying a car, if you've never been treated courteous or with respect, or left thinking if they really cared or did they just want your money. I have experienced that at other dealerships but this experience was the complete opposite. I would recommend Fox Hyundai in Grand Rapids, MI for you next vehicle purchase to anyone looking for a new car. Especially if you are looking for a dealership that makes this experience personable and keeps the communication flowing both before and after they get your money. read more

I have just purchased my first car from Fox Hyundai - Grand Rapids, a Hyundai Sonata. Mr. Vic Kurdziel was the Sales Representative that I worked with at Fox Motors and Vic is absolutely the most professional auto sales person that I have ever met and dealt with. The worst service experience I've had with a dealership in 30 years. Colleen in the service department was not helpful at all. I made an appointment to bring my car in for service, under the impression that I would be covered for transportation while it was in the shop. When I arrived, she simply stated there were no loaner vehicles available until over a week out. It meant nothing to her. Unbelievably poor service, as she's the one that's right up front when you enter the service department. I didn't watch the technicians complete the service, as it was over the course of a few days, but after leaving them with just under half a tank, I received my car back with an empty tank (gas light ON) and the dash and shift lights were out. I foolishly brought it back a second time, as the problem was still not corrected, and ended up having to replace a tire (which was blamed on me, though the car had been in their care for multiple days). Ridiculous. I'll absolutely be taking my car to a local repair shop from now on. read more

I have just bought a convertible Mustang GT at Fox Ford and the service delivered by this dealership is amazing. I had a TrueCar discount that was applicable to cars at the dealership. Looking for a convertible in Chicagoland is not easy, but my sales Consultant, Shemeka Wilson found the perfect car at another dealership and got it shipped to Chicago, thanks to their exchange program. The process went smoothly despite some delays due to the other Ford dealer and my car was ready and the paperwork prepared at the delivery. I had a great rate. Fox Ford also offers convenient services such as shuttle for customers, free first service appointment and the garage is attached the to the showroom. The team is very nice and courteous and I really appreciated. I went to another Ford dealership agreed by TrueCar in Chicagoland before Fox Ford, and they did not treat as I wanted seriously to buy this type of car, which was rude. read more

From start to finish the customer service I received at Fox Hyundai, from every employee, was above and beyond my expectations. The service department promised me that they would do everything in their power to help me, and they delivered. They helped me out of what seemed to be an impossible situation. They kept me informed regularly during the two month long process, they provided me with a beautiful loaner vehicle, and they stood behind their promise of taking care of me and returned to me my vehicle in perfect condition. When you buy a new car, you hope to never need to use the warranty, but their promise of coverage saved the day. They could have easily turned me away, because the fault was not their own, but they put the customer first, and in return now have a life-long Hyundai supporter. Went in for a navigation system update. The service manager on duty (Joel you are awesome!) took note of the next service mileage on the oil change sticker in the window which I had passed several thousand miles ago (I do a LOT of long distance driving so only change my oil every 7k). He asked if I was aware of the overage and if I wanted them to take care of the oil change while I was there. That experience along with everyone on staff that day asking if I had any questions or concerns regarding my vehicle showed me that Fox KIA/Hyundai is genuinely concerned about my driving experience. The Fox Hyundai Kia employees were great! I brought my 2010 Hyundai Accent in for service. Liz helped me check-in and arranged for a ride back to work with their shuttle. Liz also found a loaner car for me which was a beautiful 2015 Hyundai Elantra. There were 2 other guys in the shop who told me which roads to take back to work because there were accidents and some of the roads were backed up. When I returned the loaner the service guy was very nice and directed me to the payment counter and the lady there was very nice as well. I was very surprised with all of the employees going overboard to make sure that my visit was a good one. I definately recommend Fox Hyundai Kia! Good job to all of the employees there! read more

Mike Mccahill was an awesome salesman to deal with. He worked very hard on getting what I wanted and it wasn't easy, for I was quite the challenge. He didn't give up though. I love my 2014 Kia Soul. Now let's just work on getting my UVO to work properly. Kia needs to work on on the issue and communiicate with their dealerships better, so there is no false advertising. I purchased my car at Fox Hyundai 6 months ago and recently visited the service center for some scheduled maintenance. The service personnel were very friendly, helpful and courteous. My car was serviced quickly while I waited in their comfortable lounge. I received a free oil change and was pleasantly surprised when I realized they had cleaned my car at no charge. I made an appointment online for an oil change. Upon my arrival the Technician at the quick lube stated the wait was an hour and there were 4 cars in front of me. I explained I made an appointment online and he explained the online appointments are only for the service side and not the quick lube. HE said he wasn't sure why they allowed oil change appointments to be made online. He was extremely polite and generous. read more

I needed a warranty-covered transmission replacement on my 2011 Elantara Touring. They replaced the part over the weekend, gave me a free fully-loaded Santa Fe as a loaner and, without me even asking, hammered out an unsightly dent that I had acquired on my bumper. I was also contacted during the repair to be inform of my vehicle's status. I've yet to have a bad experience in the Fox Hyundai service department. read more
