They then told me they couldn't actually sell me a battery because my car had two possible versions and they couldn't confirm which my car took. I asked if they could confirm by the current battery in my car and they said the information wasn't written on it. Overall highly confusing and strange as O' Reilly's was recommended to me repeatedly as a good resource for battery trouble. Ended up going two blocks over to Batteries Plus and Andrew and Jordan had a new battery in my car within 20 minutes. No issues getting to the battery. No issues figuring out what battery it took. I think whoever I spoke to at O'Rielly's just didn't want to help me.

I wasn't sure what to do! Rome quickly ran a diagnostic that gave me the information I needed to make a good decision. I'm so grateful they were there because my regular mechanic's shop was closed and I wasn't sure where else to turn. I hadn't been in there before but was impressed by how clean and orderly it was. Two of the other area stores made me feel like I was a nuisance when asking for a part lookup. I was happy with the Caledonia AutoZone (store 6013). Until today. I was walking toward the door when I saw an oil change kit special. On display were oil drain pans, each containing a funnel, pkg of hand-wipes, pkg of latex gloves, and roll of paper towels. The sign said $4 oil change special. Quite a deal! Since my son just got his own place, I figured I'd grab it. I took it to the register -- and it rang up to around $12. I said: Hold on. What about the sign? So the clerk told me that special was just for a pan and funnel. Looking at the fine print on the sign, I saw that it did indeed say that. It seemed disingenuous to have that display in front of that particular sign, but OK -- I didn't read the fine print, so I guess I'll overlook that. I told him to just ring up the drain pan and funnel. NOW, these two items came to about $7. What in the world??? So I pointed to the sign again, and I was told: that's for a 7-quart drain pan. This is an 8-quart. We're out of the 7-quart size. So I handed him the sign and said (calmly): This should be taken down. It's false advertising. He shrugged, said he was sorry ... and put the sign back up. (There were at least two $4 signs at this display, by the way.) When I pointed out that the store was engaging in false advertising and deception ... he shrugged. The manager was not on duty, sadly. So I left, without making the purchase. Not because the ultimate price for the drain pan was unreasonable ... but because I _despise_ the deception of bait-and-switch tactics. I suppose it's time to try O'Reilly or NAPA again. Maybe they will make an effort to avoid deceptive advertising. Ironically, in an effort to deceive a customer out of a couple of bucks, AutoZone lost a customer who generally spent a few hundred dollars at a pop several times a year ... who will now be shopping just down the road. Why spend money at a place I can't trust?

Bought a Kia Niro here in March 2025. They reportedly do check overs on the cars before they leave…read morethe lot when sold. Not sure who checked it but my car has completely stopped working two times in less than a year. Transmission shot, brake issues, engine issues. I'm so disappointed. None of this was on the carfax or any warnings on the car. The Kia dealer in Kalamazoo were shocked the car was sold to me in this condition and were completely confused why the service lights never came on. Also, once you buy a car, communication is at absolute zero when you leave in your new car. I reached out several times for questions and concerns and NEVER heard back. Jay, the financial administrator, do not expect ANYTHING besides too much talking about up charging you for everything. I had several questions regarding the loan after and he refused to communicate back. Disappointed and will not be buying Kia again. I'm already having to sell my car I've had less than a year.

Here is the quote directly from the Fox Kia website " For most quick services, you can take advantage of our Express Service Lanes, which do not require an appointment." Anyway, I decided I would make an appointment this time around. I went to the website chose 'Any Advisor' for a quick oil change and there were no times available to choose. I searched every 2 weeks for more than 1 YEAR out (through July 2027) and there were still no available appointments. Thankfully I was able to use there AI agent on the site to get an appointment, but the whole experience is a HUGE pain!!

We told him what we wanted the total to be out the door, and he was able to make it happen, even staying after close to help so we didn't need to come back another day. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is I received an email a few days after buying the car to check in and replied that the cruise control was malfunctioning and never got a response.

Had my car in for an AC repair and oil change (using a jug of Mobil1 oil and a filter I provided). They overfilled the oil (used entire jug, vs. filling and checking). I asked why. The response was 'we filled it to the specs'; I pointed out that it never takes the full 5.1 quarts after a change; I've never needed more than 4.5 to get the dip stick level right. He then said that my dip stick was the wrong part and therefore inaccurate... not true. (I even checked the dipstick part to verify it was the right one.) I also called later and found that they will no longer accept customer supplied parts for repair, unlike Andy & Mark's policy.
