We called Fox Pest Control to come out and treat an issue at a small single family home. We were immediately advised that we should enroll in a one year contract to ensure that we could get rid of the problem for good. I let them know that as we had no history with them, and the contract could not be cancelled and was a LOT of money, I was more comfortable with a one time service for now if they could address the existing infestation. They said they could. They came out a few days later evaluated entry points and set 3 bait traps for the entire house. One month later we are back at square one! I called to express my concern and was told I needed to sign up for a one year contract to get any help. When I complained about the ineffectiveness of their treatment one month ago I was transferred to a manager. The manager stated that they have no need to do anything further and it is not their concern as we didnt sign up for a one year contract. He even went so far as to say that there was no way the issue could have been addressed in one visit! I anticipate that if we had signed a one year contract this is the attitude we would have received- and it would have been a never ending quest to get more money and provide sub standard service. Lesson learned. UPDATE: Below Fox Pest has provided a reply that completely mischaracterizes the situation in an attempt to look less culpable. True- we were contacted about 2 weeks after the service for follow up- and we were being asked again to sign a 12 month contract. It was a call for the sale- not the service! We declined. To be very clear, I have called more than 10 times and tried to reach 'Nate' during business hours and been unable to do so. He has no direct line and is never available. This is the first time I had an occasion to use a pest control company. After reading Fox Pest Control reviews, and noted an A+ rating from the BBB, I called the Company for an estimate for the removal of a wasps' nest at the peak of my house. I was given an estimate and, if I was interested, was informed of quarterly visits to keep any other pests under control. I was not pressured in any way. I made an appt for the removal of the nest. Dave F. was my technician. He was very polite and let me know exactly what he was going to do. When checking my premises, he found some ant nests which I didn't even know I had. I learned the difference between a wasp and hornet, and even carpenter bees, which I thought were wasps. All in all it was a very great, informative appt and Dave won over the wasps!!! Fox Pest is FANTASTIC!! We had to call them for a mouse problem just before winter and they came out immediately. Both the dispatcher and the exterminator were professional, understanding and listened to all of our concerns, addressing each one as they came along. He set up traps and let us know exactly what he did around our house. As promised, he returned about 3 weeks later and assessed the situation (our mouse problem was completely gone!). We had to call Fox Pest again recently due to an overwhelming ant problem (apparently we can't win with pests) and they came out the next day. They wore masks and were very conscious to social distancing. Once again, they explained everything! I don't know if they're magicians, but the next day I saw maybe one ant, and the next there were none!!! I highly recommend them!! read more

Do not do business with Fox Pest Control, unless you want to get ripped off! We canceled our contract with Fox last year, yet they showed up this year and billed us $125 for services that were not authorized. When they showed up, we stopped them before they sprayed but were told that we still had 2 pre-paid visits from last year's contract remaining. Then, they charged our credit card $125 for the new visit. We contacted them, thinking it was an innocent mistake, only to learn that they knowingly SCAMMED us and are refusing to refund the money. That is THEFT, pure and simple! There are plenty of other HONEST companies out there offering the same services -- go with one of them, and not Fox Pest Control. read more

Robby is the best! I had called when I noticed wasps making a nest in the vents of my roof. He came out right when he said he'd be there, assessed the situation and took care of the wasps and nest! He also took the time to walk around my property inside and out to make sure he got all the wasps and sprayed for other pests while he was at it. In total, Robby spent about 2 hours at my home riding it of stinging and biting bugs! I'm so satisfied with the services provided. The fact that if I see anything starting again, they'll come out and spot check the issue for free within the time of my contract! I have Fox Pest Control perform quarterly treatments at my house to take care of a Spider issue that we had. They are always prompt and courteous. For this quarter's treatment, the technician, Juvenal Q, arrived at my house and went above and beyond, surpassing my expectations. He took the time to listen to my concerns, investigate potential problem areas, and thoroughly applied the pest control solution to mitigate the problem. I have no doubt the application will perform as expected, but I can rest easy knowing that should the problem return, Juvenal will return to take care of it. His attention to detail is outstanding and thorough. Rob caught the early stage of a mud wasp nest being built under our deck.
