Ordered two large pies with toppings on 11/4/2022 for pick-up. Pizza was ready as promised. However, the food was horrible. Very skimpy on sauce, cheese and toppings. The dough and crust were very heavy. They charged $37 for a horrible product. Will never go their again and will recommend to all that are willing to listen, do not cross their threshold. Friday we ordered 2 large pizza's for takeout. Pepperoni on one and the other allegedly had sausage peppers and onion. I can not say anything good about it. First of all it cost $39 for both and that was for pick-up. Second if there was a single crumble of sausage on each slice that would be generous. Onions and peppers are relatively inexpensive but very little was on my pizza. And one portion of the pie had nothing and I mean nothing- no cheese- nothing! They were stingy. Takes forever for pick up orders. Even if you're ordering a single small thing in the menu it will be about a thirty minute wait. The staff seem to think waiting thirty minutes for something that takes ten to make us normal. Food if okay but very greasy and cheap feeling. read more

I am writing this reluctantly as I normally try to only post reviews if I like something but this place can do better. I ordered 2 Stromboli's and a small pizza tonight. Each Stromboli had 2 ingredients and a small pizza margarita...not a complicated order. Got the food home and one of the Stromboli's was wrong. Called and was told they could remake and deliver it for $1.50. I thought that was odd since they messed the order up but just decided to pick it up. The woman taking the order said the remake would be "free." When got there, I gave her the Incorrect order back. When I asked about a refund she said" you can just keep them both." That's not exactly free when no one could eat the first one. I told her just to keep the money and put it in the tip Jar. So just got home and guess what... the order is STILL WRONG! This place was amazing. I loved every thing about it. I was starving and this place didn't look so crowded. My boyfriend and I went in expecting just a slice of pizza or too. But the prices were so good that we decided to get a medium pizza. When we sat down it did take the waitress a long time to come over and take our drink order, but finally 10 mins later we were able to get our drinks and place our order. 15 mins later the pizza came out and there were already toppings at the table. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star review was the face that when I asked for the garlic, it was garlic salt and not powder so I used too much (my own fault) but I feel like pizza places should probably have garlic powder. Aside from that the bathrooms were outstanding. I couldn't even believe it. All in all, if I come back and want pizza, this is where I will be going for sure. read more

On the website, there is a picture of the front of the Millville Store. On the upper right of the same web page, there is an order online tab, which I did. I arrived at the store and said my name and that I was there to pick up the pizza and sub I had ordered online. A very unpleasant woman at the register informed my that this location doesn't have online ordering, and that my online order was in Selbyville, many miles away in traffic. Further, she stated that this happens several times a day, but she didn't make the web site, and if I wanted to complain I could talk to the manager, which I said I did. The counter person went to the back and told the manager that there was a customer "cursing at her" in the front, which I was not. After several minutes an equally unpleasant woman came from the back to inquire "what my problem was", to which I explained. It was then reiterated that I would not be refunded and that if I wanted my food I would have to drive to Selbyville (which I did not). In parting, I stated that I had made my last visit to a Fox's Pizza Den, to which both the employee and the manager said "F*ck You!" as I walked out the door. Not their best night. Ordered takeout, rude service over phone & when picking up. Subs were tough, cheesesteak had a weird taste, pizza was cold, wings were fatty and poor quality, and overpriced. Giving benefit of the doubt that dining in is better? Place was full and smelled delish, but what we took home didn't measure up. I love Fox Pizza Millville. Excellent atmosphere, very friendly service. We order carry out once per week and always order The Big Daddy pizza. Being new to the neighborhood, we were looking to see what places would deliver to us in Savannah's Landing after just driving "downy ocean" and not feeling like going out (OK, read that as: lazy) Den Delivery We know that longtime-favorite nearby Grotto's delivers but why not try something new? Last weekend I saw a Fox's car in the neighborhood so bazinga! Going online to check out the menu - saw that there was a good variety offered but a lot of some of the more intriguing items like Shrimp Baltimore Style, Mussels, and all past dishes were only available dine-in. Doh! No "wet hots!?" Really? We settled with garlic Parmesan wings, cheese bread, & splitting a cheese steak sub. Downside: when ordering the sub, I asked for "wet hots" which is a hot pepper relish that usual for any respectable cheese steak sub or "hoagie" I mean, you gotta have hots, right? Because this is our Coastal Cottage weekend home the refrigerator isn't stocked with all the condiments and accoutrements needed. But, that's not a big deal - just be warned Philly steak sub purists! Though the nice girls who took the phone order said it would take 45 min it was actually delivered to our door by a friendly guy in only about 30 minutes! Everything was delish! It would be a 5 star if only everything was available for delivery. What can I say, we're sometimes a little lazy after the nearly 3 hour drive from the eastern shore. Good pizza restaurants are not that easy to find. I have gotten take-out and delivery from them often. Their pizza is good as is their Stromboli. I have gotten their Caesar salad before (to go) but thought it was over-priced and just OK. I have eaten there during the in-season time-frame and the service as a little slow. They were using eastern European for their servers at that time and unfortunately only had one girl covering the day shift for whatever reason. She was very polite and spoke well enough; she just could not cover the whole restaurant solo. Still, that was just the one-time, so it could have been just that one time. Great little place! Tavern atmosphere with good beer selection and tasty, informal menu, primarily Italian as you may expect, with pizza, sandwiches, and entrees. I found this place through yelp. I am from out of town and just looked up italian food.I didn't get a chance to look at the menu. I called in for a take out order. I first asked if they made hoagies. I got the snottiest response back from the woman that answered the phone. "ummmmm Yeaaaah...". I apologized and let her know I was from out of town. I finished giving her my order. She just said, "20 minutes". When I picked up the food, the cashier said in the most unwelcoming voice, "what can i help you with?"... but said it in such a tone that sounded more like I was bothering him. By this point, I realized this place didn't care about patrons so I didn't leave a tip. Now keep in mind, I always leave a tip. But these people were so rude and unwelcoming. The cashier looked at the receipt and over to the girl wiping down the counter. He rolled his eyes and she rolled her eyes. These people suck. As far as the food... my wife actually said she enjoyed her sandwich. The chicken tenders I got for my son were "meh" and the pizza I ordered was along the lines of Dominos. Never again.... Their pizza is good, tasty and for the money a much better deal than Grotto. But their grinders are the star of the show in my mind. We love Louie's grinders in Rehobeth, and haven't found anything like them. Fox"s grinders are very close. The bread is fresh and the sandwiches are loaded with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and other great veggies. My fav is the cheesteak, other favorites are the Italian baked and roast beef, bacon & cheddar. Sandwiches are large, the girls could only eat half at one sitting. Absolutely horrible delivery service. After a long time explaining to the employee on the phone that we needed wings without flour, we received the food and the wings had flour on them. This was due to an allergy so we called the manager who refunded the wings and charged us half price for a chef salad to replace it. It's been an hour since we ordered the salad and they're still not here. We called to check on it and our call got ignored twice then the person on the phone had an attitude when we asked if the order had gone out yet. We also ordered a Stromboli with extra sauce and got zero sauce. The Stromboli was not good either. We will never be ordering from here again. read more

This was my first time at Fox's Pizza Den and I was pleasantly surprised!! As a first time Foxy, I was hesitant to come because of the negative reviews but I am here to say that those reviews are false! The pizza looked good and tasted even better. The prices were pretty good and it's a very family friendly restaurant. Overall, don't listen to those nasty reviewers, their just jealous and dare I say it's better than Grottos. This place is a diamond in the Millville ruff. First, 1.75 drafts!!! More importantly, the pizza is excellent. A small happy hour pizza will only set you back $5 and is more than enough for one person. I prefer mine with extra sauce and have never been disappointed. Overall, the happy hour selection is great and affordable. I can't comment on the service as a whole since I always sit at the bar but the bartender Nichole (I think that is her name), is always very nice and attentive.
