Ordered a pepperoni pizza on the request of my friend who gets this pizza at his work on weekly basis. The pizza was bland tasting to me. The pizza dough tastes ready-made frozen to bake tasting. The dough needs flavor and there's almost nonexistent sauce on the pie which is probably the reason why it's so bland tasting to me. I'm not sure if they are using a commercialized oven but the pizza crust is not crispy and no charred spots. The special was a large pizza with 2 toppings and 2 liters of soda for $19.99 which was super reasonable. I never down rate establishments, but today was different. We ordered through DoorDash. Food was delivered quickly. My wife had a salad. It was ok. My son ordered a burger and fries. It was ok. I ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner. It was absolutely the worst Italian food I've ever had. The chicken was unbreaded chicken breast that was simply tough and chewy. The pasta was so overdone it was disgusting. The sauce was mediocre, at best. Had we been in person, I would've sent the entire meal back. In this case, I'll just never return. I reached out to the restaurant to follow up on my delivery order after waiting for over an hour from the estimated delivery time. They did not cook nor intended to deliver since they did not have a delivery person available. I know things happen but the restaurant never contacted me with this issue. Very good pizza (foldable Nyers!) with gooey cheese and red sauce and all the other ingredients you want on your pie. Our order included spaghetti with meatballs--wife says she could have used more meatballs so might order more the next go-round--which came with a pretty good salad. Great service people. Some of the food is OK but most is the cheapest quality ingredients. However there is one exception the lasagna. This is the regular stouffers lasagna with their canned pizza sauce poured on top with Wellsey farms cheese that is purchased at the Save a lot. Nacho cheese is the Great Value super can purchased at Walmart. I'm not saying you shouldn't eat there but if you do this is the quality you will receive. In addition to this the store itself is dirty and unkept. I also have not observed any type of proper food handling techniques when food is made. For example no hair nets or gloves are worn when making the food. Raw food is stored in close proximity to cooked food and improper sanitation techniques are used when washing dishes as well kitchen up keep. Basically your average cheap dirty pizza spot. read more

This place has great food but their delivery system is terrible! 3 times they've confused my order with pick up when I select delivery or vice versa. I used to get confirmation via email but even that hasn't worked the last 2 times. This last time, I put in my in law's address because that's where I was and they delivered it to my house, not the address I put in. It took forever to finally get to the address I selected. When I called to ask about the status of my order, the guy on the phone said he would throw in something for the mishap but that didn't happen either. Bring your own paper plate and plastic silverware because it cost $2.00 extra if you want a plate and silverware with a Stromboli calzone or pizza anything that's not originally served on one of their hard plates. My job orders Rocky's on a regular basis - we have thousands of employees. I ordered a cold cut. When it arrived, the toppings were wrong, on the side, and THE SUB WAS WARM. The meat was gritty and sweating, warm to the touch. I spoke with a young man who then put me on with the manager who said I was lying and yelled at me. He refused to fix the issue noting that "they were closing soon" - the place is 7 min away with traffic and they didn't close for another 45 min or so. He did not want to issue a refund until I stated that this is how food poisoning happens and threatened to call the police and report to the USDA. He then came to retrieve the warm sub but not without first causing a scene that required security to step in and stormed out when I started to have the state trooper on duty here to come out. He invaded my personal space and tried to snatch the bag from me and wouldn't refund. Security called Rocky's and got them to refund -sadly the man in the lobby WAS the manager. read more

Ordered from them for several months just to get a break from the big chains like Papa John's and Domino's and they were the only option we saw for delivery in Millsboro. Pizza was pretty good but other entrees were pretty BLAH. Finally stopped using them entirely about a month ago. Ordered a pizza with the normal coupon we had used numerous times before. Girl took payment over the phone and ok'd the coupon. Upon delivery, we noticed the coupon wasn't reflected on the receipt and we were charged full price. Called to inquire and the girl that answered the phone said they don't honor coupons for delivery. Told her we never had an issue before; the coupon was always honored. Also asked why this wasn't explained at the time of the payment over the phone. She didn't have an answer for this. I asked again about why the coupon suddenly wasn't honored for delivery. She said the owner's wife said the coupon's not honored for delivery. I politely told the girl to please tell the owner's wife that they just lost a customer. Such a bad business decision and horrible customer service. The good news is that about two weeks ago we received a menu in the mail from Millsboro Pizza Palace saying they now deliver. Have ordered a handful of times from them. Food is great and the employees are much more polite and professional over the phone. Came back with enough cheese sprinkled on that you could actually count each shred of cheese. Cheese steak was very salty and had again limited cheese.
