I was thrilled that I actually came to Altamonte. I came here for a quick meeting and honestly it's so beautiful and peaceful it reminds me so much of home, Alaska! It's a real cabin feel, peaceful and just an aesthetic coffee shop. It's really hip! I had no idea this place even existed like in Altamonte in the middle of no where. I got the cafe con leche and the matcha green tea hot. It was beyond delicious. The young gentleman who assisted me helped with the menu and gave me many recommendations. Saw all the bumper stickers and heard about it, so I finally checked it out! Very cute set up and decor. The service was great. I believe from the picture the manager served me. She was very helpful with the selections of coffee. I opted for an iced coffee which was very tasty to me. I tend to get a headache from coffee but this did not trigger that. Can we say OMG this place is amazing, or what?! I am beyond impressed with Foxtail Coffee Co!! They make growlers of iced cold brew coffee to go and actually serve various cold brews on tap. Yes, you read that correctly: ON TAP. I saw a few people order flights of the food brews and couldn't even believe my eyes. I took a home a small cold brew but really wanted a nice hot latte and it was awesome and pretty as a picture, as you can see in the picture posted. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable in coffee and espresso and super friendly. The ambiance is very industrial chic and reminds me a lot of what I see at home in NYC. I wish that this location had opened sooner because I would have been there every day of my vacation but ironically, it opened on April 4th, which is my birthday so what a great gift to know that I can come back real soon when I visit my mom again soon. read more

My daughter was home for a few days and picked Foxtail for our Saturday breakfast. She is the one who tracked their progress for opening when she was away at college, loved the place, and was so excited about breakfast here. It was painful to watch her be so disappointed! The breakfast sandwiches are now, apparently, prepackaged and can't be modified. She said that they are "no longer made with love". The coffee came in unmarked to-go cups instead of the nice mugs. Since they were unmarked we never did figure out if I was drinking hers or if she was drinking mine. I will say that the egg and cheese biscuit was good. A different kind of biscuit but very good. Also, the cleanliness has gone down hill. The floor in the dining room looked like it had not been swept in awhile and the corners of the rugs were turned up. There is still a cool vibe with great music but it seems that the quality control is not as stringent as when they first opened. Love this place! The atmosphere is comfortable. Location is convenient. Good to have a local place to go where you are known as a regular.

It was still nearly an hour before lunch and my insides were sticking to the back of my body. I needed some java and a snack so I pulled into this location for a quick pick me up. Having never been it took me a minute to check it all out: small tables and a few comfy seats were all filled in with a couples of mothers with their kids, people who probably like me were doing work on the road and needed a recharge. I walked up and ordered the plain coffee ($4) with enough space for milk and a very large lemon curd filled donut ($4) upon a plastic plate from the young server who seemed to be so disinterested. Oh well. Quickly got my order filled and found a seat and devoured that sugary monster while sipped the scalding brew down. The donut was nearly as large as my hand, thick in the lemon curd filling almost every cranny inside it. Talk about one amazing dessert. Afterwards I kind of felt bad since all that would do is provide a heckuva sugar high but nutrition wise it probably sucked. This place is the best coffee shop in the Orlando area. The quality of coffee is outstanding...my personal favorites are the espresso and the Ethiopian cold brew. Foxtail is also so much more than coffee: they have the BEST breakfast sandwiches. For around the same price as a crappy sandwich from Dunkin, you can get a heavenly bacon egg and cheese on a bagel at Foxtail. Their baked goods are also great (they have donuts and muffins). This is going to be a storm of emotions. It was a cold, windy day. It just so happens i picked up my offspring (of the ages 14 and 14 respectively) from lake Brantley high school. Now while I am quite money conscious I had received a job offer that day from my place of work (dollar tree general) to make more money than I was previously (the reason I work at such a formal store is because I wanted to pursue acting but my Norwegian parents said that if I did they would ring my neck with a belt, string up my clothes on the local city limits sign, and never speak to me again) and wanted to treat myself to some scrumptious dark roast coffee from this establishment. I parked, walked inside with my two girls (14 and 14 if you remember) and was immediately hit with the sweet aroma of old leather and hot milk. While this may not smell appealing I am deeply fond of fragrances that remind me of my yurt in Norway. It was like a breath of fresh air. The decor is post modern yet rustic, almost as if my parents are still with me to this day, making my cup that much sweeter. The workers are delightful, and are always there for me when I need them the most (not as if I'm part of their family, but like they've joined the intimate ranks of my childhood school in Norway (the east of Norway) that not only taught, but housed such troubled girls such as myself). The drive through is a sight for sore eyes, as it reminds me of a rural Starbucks with a warm color palate and quicker delivery. One time a worker even asked for my name- a highlight of my year. I love the fox symbolism, as it reminds me of when my papa would take me into the fields in my home town and hunt foxes. But I was different- I couldn't harm such elegant and graceful creatures. The way they walked, what they represented in not only my life but the way of living for the animals in that ecosystem. The red coats that I see in my dreams are hauntingly realistic memories of the torture i put them through (back in Norway). Sometimes I wonder if life would have been different if I'd never left (Norway). It's almost by fate i happened upon this coffee shop. As if the foxes of the fjords still speak to me this day, not as reminders of those I've lost but as reminders of the peaceful world they live in now (God bless). I remember one day in particular, the air was salty and stung my eyes, just like the tears that would soon erupt and bathe me after the accident. That's the day I became a woman. The coffee was excellent, and I'd especially recommend the cafe con leche with oat milk. Weird Buddha statue out front for a devout catholic such as myself. (Reminds me of my multicultural background from the temple in Norway) I'd recommend this cafe to weary travelers with dark pasts such as myself. The girls (14 and 14) love the hot chocolate and on many occasions beg me for it as if they've never had sweets in their lives. It's decadent and bitter- much like the chocolate i received once a year back home in Norway. The facilities are especially enjoyable for a troubled member such as myself. They comfort me. We were greeted immediately I was immediately drawn by the decor so cool inside. My husband got the red-eye, I got the macchiato and they were both made to perfection! I love the atmosphere here. The employees are always really nice. I will say, the iced coffee is wayyyy too light. I had to have them remake it with less cream and it was still watery, even before any ice melted. After the second cup that I couldn't drink, I had to switch it out for a cold brew, which is more expensive. Luckily, they switched it out for free which I appreciated. The cold brew is on tap and is delicious. It tastes like a fresh beer on tap so I didn't even add cream or sugar! If it weren't for that, the ambience, and the nice employees, I'd have taken a star away. Hopefully they find a way to get that iced coffee situated. I'm not wanting to spend $5 on a cold brew every time I go there and I'm uninterested in their iced coffee now. I am a frequent patron to this location. While the service is always great, for at least the last TWO weeks the a/c has obviously been broken. I am appalled that management has not repaired it in a timely manner. Florida heat is no joke! No excuse for it being broken for so long. I feel terrible for the obviously exhausted employees of this location. The first time I came in I thought maybe it was just me that was hot since I'm hot natured. I couldn't even eat in the store because it was so uncomfortable. I went to my car to enjoy my food and coffee in the a/c. Last weekend I came in with friends and they were so hot too! We inquired about it and were told it had been broken for a while and they are waiting for management to fix it. They tried to put a positive spin on it, but it was obvious they were hot as they had fans going and all employees were literally sweating. Not a good look for a food establishment. I will not be returning until the a/c is fixed. We could barely stand inside to wait for our order, much less enjoy it inside the store. A big thank you to Steph for his patience and professionalism while melting! I will be calling ahead to make sure it's fixed before I even consider coming back to this location. I love this coffee shop. The atmosphere deserves ten stars. They also sell coffee candles inside it small travel tins that I LOVE. My coffee order is always a cafe con leche. I would love to try more , but their menu is a challenge . I find it very small and I think they offer more ...it's just not listed. My coffee is always good though . Their breakfast sandwiches are toe curling good. I have had a Valkyrie doughnut from this location also. It wasn't my favorite but I know others enjoy it. Very nice coffee spot. I went around 3 in the afternoon and there was plenty of space to sit, the music wasn't too loud or distracting, and there were a handful of people around quietly doing work. If I needed a place to get work done while having a cup of coffee, I'd definitely consider this place. Coffee was average. My sister and I both ordered cappuccinos with a shot of hazelnut and neither one of us could taste the hazelnut. This is my second time ordering coffee from Foxtail (the first time I had some sort of iced coffee), and I find their coffee to not be my favorite. It's a little floral tasting and bitter. Maybe I just haven't found my perfect cup of coffee from that place yet. Though I haven't loved the 2 coffees I've ordered from Foxtail, the cleanliness of the place, the friendliness of the staff, the variety of items on the menu, and the productive atmosphere would bring me back to give it another shot. read more

So I've been a big fan of Foxtail since they opened their original Winter Park location so of course I'm stoked to see them opening other locations (and ones closer to home AND with a drive through - win win). I can't say I've had any of their food items, but the coffee is always on point. My favorite item is their honey cinnamon latte (hot). It's so good and flavorful without being too sweet. I'm not a fan of sugar dessert in a cup for coffee (I prefer to eat the sugary items and drink the coffee), and the fact that I don't have to adjust the order by saying none of this or go light on that is always a plus. Always comes out perfect and their customer service is always awesome. Their different cold brews on tap are a great option, too! I love this new Foxtail location because it's way closer to my house and also not nearly as crowded as the one in Winter Park. The coffee menu is essentially the same and the food menu consists of their standard paninis and breakfast sandwich options. It's a great place to study or do some work in a nice peaceful environment. The cafe is pretty spacious with outlets along the sides for those with laptops (COUGH ME). The WiFi had been down a couple of times while I was there, which was kind of a bummer but hopefully that issue has since resolved. I also wish there was more outdoor seating and parking spaces because those spots can fill up during peak hours... which can be awkward because there is no street parking in that area. So I ended up with a Carmel latte with almond milk and a chocolate doughnut. Epic fail the coffee was the equivalent of a snail at Starbucks it was good but not worth the price . The chocolate doughnut turned out to be a plain doughnut with chocolate frosting and sprinkles not at all what card to mind for a chocolate doughnut.
