Okay, yum. I'd never been to Jeff's, but was in the are for some shopping and decided to stop and get a quick breakfast. They had so many different bagel and cream cheese options, it was hard to choose! However, I opted for a plain bagel and cookie butter cream cheese - they were unfortunately out of the cookie butter, so I then selected banana pudding cream cheese. And oh goodness was it delicious - felt decadent and the flavor was spot on! Our neighboring office had a surplus of bagels and those were delivered to our office. It was such a great serendipity as I didn't have my breakfast yet. I tried the plain begal with their vegetable cream cheese. The bagel was soft and had the right amount of chew. The cream cheese was light and felt healthy with the small pieces of vegetable. I also tried the cinnamon bagel after lunch as I originally thought it was a cinnamon roll. It tasted like one as there was just the right amount of cinnamon and a bit of icing too. I was so excited to come try a Jeff's Bagel Run in person, as a coworker of mine brings a dozen bagels to the office every so often and we are always extra happy on those days. This location is very, very small. There's barely 2 tables inside to sit at, the queue to order is short so when it's busy I imagine most people have to wait outside, and there's a few small tables right outside the shop. So basically, if you come when it's busy don't expect to be able to sit down, you may have more likely have to take it to go. But if you like bagels, this is a must try. They have a ton of different flavors, from traditional like plain and everything bagels to jalapeño cheddar, poppyseed and rosemary salt. Beyond this, though, are the cream cheese spread options. This is where it gets really fun- I've tried a few different ones like the veggie spread, chive & onion, and even banana pudding and cannoli. If you like sweet I really enjoy the cannoli one. They only have one dairy free option and it was not tasty. You can grab a coffee with your bagel as well, but beyond this that's all you get. It's a bagel and cream cheese or be square. No sandwich options, and I think you have to ask them to toast the bagel specifically because they didn't toast mine when I ordered it which I'd prefer. But it is a pretty good bagel place overall and I'd recommend giving it a try. read more

Finally made it to Jeff's Bagel Run for breakfast. The Saturday bagel of the day was salted caramel which I paired with a "flight" of 3 spreads. My favorite was the banana pudding spread. I had just a taste of the cake batter spread which is much more like an icing than a cream cheese for context, but delicious! And then the brown sugar cinnamon butter was pretty straightforward. Had I gotten a more savory bagel, I would have tried the veggie or jalepeno cream cheeses. There were a couple ladies outside who brought their own good ol fashioned tub of butter and cream cheese from home to save a few bucks... I'm going to a bagel shop more for the spreads than the bagels but it's certainly an option! As a "bakery", not a restaurant, they are not allowed to toast (reheat) food. Because my bagel was a daily special it was fresh from the oven and very warm. I can't speak to the temperature or freshness of any other varieties . Just be aware they are not serving toasted bagels or breakfast sandwiches. They offer a "lox kit" with salmon, tomato and onion you can assemble yourself if desired. Minimal seating, all outdoors. After passing this location every day on my way to work, I made a point to enjoy breakfast here. I was delighted with my visit. I went on a Saturday morning. There is limited parking, but I secured a spot. The line moved fairly fast. I ordered a bagel with cannoli cream cheese. Oh boy, was that good! The cannoli cream cheese had chocolate chips throughout and made for a sweet breakfast treat. So much cream cheese is given that I took the rest home with me and used it on my toast the next morning at home. The order only took a few minutes to receive. We sat inside at a small table by the window. It looks like this location does a lot of to-go orders. I also like the options of juices, and I landed on Natalie's OJ. I had heard ads for this place but had not tried it then during inventory at work someone brought in a dozen with some spreads. The smell alone was enough to make your mouth start watering. I selected an Asiago Everything bagel. I'm not particularly fond of everything bagels however the smell made it very appealing. Turns out that the addition of the Asiago cheese made this bagel, well, EVERYTHING. The included spreads were: strawberry, cannoli, plain and caramelized onion and chive. Again not a fan of cream cheese BUT the onion and chive looked appealing. I put it on a 1/4 of the bagel and it was amazing. Haven't been able to get these bagels out of my head since. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night thinking of them so I downloaded the app and placed a pick up order for a 1/2 dozen for this morning. The bagel was sliced for me but not toasted. A foul in my playbook. The lox box was standard with plain cream cheese as the spread. Nothing to write home about. With the bagel untoasted it was still chewy and soft but it didn't really tingle my tastebuds. In short it was 'ok' and much too salty. This particular location is small and I must be honest, I have no clue who designed the inside of this place, but there is so much wrong! I'm not going into the details, but the layout is just all wrong. Many, many people love bagels, and enjoy going to a bagel shop where they can sit down, have a bagel with their favorite drink, but this place is very much lacking a cozy, welcoming place to sit and enjoy! If you visit this particular location in Oviedo, you will completely understand where I'm coming from. Their bagels are big and delicious! I was astonished at the variety of cream cheese! All I'm saying is that if I could give a place six stars, Jeff's Bagel Run would earn it in a heartbeat. This is one of my favorite spots for when I just want a good bagel not as part of a sandwich but as an experience on its own. The bagels are always delicious, whether I'm sticking with my favorite Asiago everything with Jalepeno spread, or branching out and trying one of their constantly rotating daily specials. The place is always clean, the interactions I have with staff always improve the overall experience, and I would happily gain 20 pounds alone eating here as me and my wife do every Saturday. Jeff's also has great options for party catering, such as where you can buy dozens of bagels of various kinds and buy flights of the cream cheese spreads to provide lots of unique options for your function. The coffee is also incredible, especially the banana bread latte. Their app is also very easy to use and it is nice to be able to gain loyalty/reward points to claim free bagels or other items. On my latest visit I made sure to focus on the service because of several reviews I read. I can say they were not wrong. While the bagels are some of the best, the service will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. It's very busy and they do a horrible job of managing the line. We were told to stand out side. There is no roping off of any area they have a couple bistro tables outside where the line should be formed. Instead people are standing in parking spots, of which there are few. They make all of their bagels and spreads in house, and you can taste the quality! My go to is the Cacio e Pepe bagel with vegetable cream cheese. It lives up to its name! It has a wonderful peppery texture complemented by strong cheese. The vegetable cream cheese adds a cooling effect to the pepper and a lovely texture with crunchy vegetables! I placed a pick up order and accidentally had the wrong day. Instead of the employee giving me a solution they simply said I had the wrong day. I said okay so let me reorder them and the guy basically said he didn't know how to cancel the order? In the end, the manager had to come out and press a button to cancel the order. The staff has their system down like a well oiled machine! I went with my fav the Asiago bagel but I also wanted to try the jalapeño cheddar to do something new & of course I had to get the jalapeño cream cheese to try with it! The bagels were so delicious, as expected. I love that they change it up every so often so it encourages you to step out of your usual bubble! I have been a Jeff's Bagel Run fan since my first sample and I was SO excited when this location opened on Orange Avenue since we are in that area often for races. We stopped by on a Saturday morning after running a race in Winter Park and we thankfully beat the crowds. The bagels are always so fresh at Jeff's and I love the variety of the spreads that they offer. On this trip I did the Brown Sugar Cinnamon spread to put on my Rosemary Salt bagel. It was a great combo! We were able to grab a seat at one of the tables by the window of the shop and it was the perfect post-run breakfast. The girls working at the register were so friendly and got us our bagels and coffee cups for the self service coffee quickly. We will be back after another race soon! read more

I'm obsessed with Jeff's Bagel Run! As a New York native who frequently visits the city, I can confidently say that their bagels are incredibly authentic - even in the Sunshine State! The plain cream cheese on a plain bagel is a masterclass in simplicity, very demure ! Don't judge my plain choices, though - I wish I could've tried some of their unique cream cheese flavors, but the line was too long! It is a small store, so it does get filled up pretty quickly. The employees convinced me to sample at least one! I did manage to snag a side of the cinnamon sugar cream cheese, which was a delightful treat. My only suggestion? Figure out a way to reheat their bagels for the next day. Please tell me if you do because I'll order a box weekly for breakfast!! I was excited to try the 4th of July sprinkles bagel, and try out their new location.and it did not disappoint! At this location there is plenty of parking, the college park location is limited parking. The festive sprinkles added a fun touch to an already delicious bagel.
