Amazing discovery!!! Thank you Yelp for another home run!! Foxy Loxy has it all- great service, delicious food and baked goods, amazing coffee, a solid beer and wine selection, cozy indoor ambiance and a fantastic outdoor patio with live music. We went twice this week- once during the day to work & grab lunch. The daily taco special and poblano potato soup was DELICIOUS! Extremely crowded with lines out the door and seating was scarce but worth the wait and sharing tables. The other visit was in the evening to see Jason Bible perform live acoustic guitar and solo vocals. Foxy Loxy's garden patio has the PERFECT acoustic sounds for musicians. I could have sat there all night listening to Jason play. They definitely need to have Jason Bible play regularly as it was a packed crowd just to see him. If you're not familiar with Jason or his band the Train Wrecks you should do yourself a favor and seek him and/or the babd out!! If I lived closer I'd be a regular at Foxy Loxy. Pulling into Savannah late Saturday, our first time in this town, and we manage to find our way into Foxy Loxy, where it happens to be half-off wine bottles night, plus a delicious pork carnitas taco special on the menu. Probably one of the nicest spots to sit outside in Savannah. The courtyard is secluded and away from all traffic and pretty cute. Loved the selection of different milks that included almond milk. Everyone (mostly scad kids, it seemed) ordered the tacos. I had a Bourbon Bacon Brownie that was pretty good. I really enjoyed checking out this coffeehouse. I loved it vibes. The interior was super cute. I loved the little nook area to sit and overlook people walking around while working on my laptop. The horchata latte was good. I also had the pumpkin bread. A-mazing! Try it sometime! I liked it so much I bought a churro muffin and a slice of zucchini bread for the next day. My friend had the feta and spinach quiche. She said it was great. It wasn't overly crusty which she enjoyed. It is located right across the street from the local library which I thought was kind of convenient and a great idea on the owners part. The horchata lattes are amazing, my favorite drink I've found in savannah. So is all the food, especially the dolce de leches. My favorite treat is the affogado, espresso on ice cream- vanilla or horchata. Loads of options for vegan/vegetarian. Such a great hangout. If you don't want to wait in line during the academic year don't go at 10:30! There's always seating in the back courtyard when it's nice out, in the winter there's heaters. The tacos are better than in Mexico because they are not modest or humble. The place always has rotating prints on the wall. It's definitely a scad student hot spot so if you're jealous of trust fund kids and want to watch them enviously from afar this is a good place to go. You can see all the latest outfits from anthropoligie, free people and urban. You can listen to them complain about how much they have draw or weave or photograph and who hooked up with who last night (what a floozy) as they watch what did the fox say. My wife and I came here for coffee, tea, and Sunday brunch. We were disappointed. The location good and the atmosphere inside is very unique. We sat upstairs on the balcony. I'd give this place 5 stars for the unique atmosphere it provides. But sadly that is only half the picture. I got a cold brew coffee and my wife got a iced chai tea latte. My coffee was disgustingly bitter. It was the worst iced/cold brew coffee I've ever had. The Iced Chai was actually pretty good. Then for brunch we both had breakfast burritos. There, again, we were both disappointed. The eggs are not fresh (carton eggs, the kind you pour). And egg was pretty much all that was in them. Very bland. Not flavorful at all. This is my favorite coffee spot in Savannah! They always deliver amazing drinks! It has a Texas flare and I am assuming the owner's roots are in Texas. For a while, I got in the habit of going every morning before work. The workers are great, they knew me by name and started making my drink before I even ordered. I highly recommend any latte and any quiche they have that day. The only reason why I stopped going so frequently is because I found out I have a ton of food allergies and it limits me. Not my top choice for coffee in Savannah. Although Foxy appears to have a pretty solid following the coffee just doesn't do it for me. After getting a pound of PERK coffee I found the beans to be way over roasted and stale. The beans literally had the outer layer falling off of them they had been roasted so bad. Not a trace of oil to be found. This coffee shop itself is pretty cool, and they do have some creative menu items, although I would not rush back for the whole bean coffee it does appear to be a cool place to hang out with friends. read more

This is no longer credible as a local cafe, it has been transformed into a night club. The shows, which include a screaming-poetry night, are loud and sloppily managed, with patrons littering cups and cigarettes all over the street and surrounding homes. Sadly this is no longer a community integrated cafe, which is a shame as it's located on a pleasant street where neighbors, living there for years before, are no longer afforded the privilege of quiet enjoyment of their homes and gardens. As the owner focuses on maximizing financial gains by expanding into a multi-use venue, the focus on bakery quality products have paid the price. read more

Oh man, is this a fantastic coffee shop/bakery/tex-mex place! Their coffee is delicious and their chicken taco was absolutely mouth-watering. They also pull off the hipster coffee vibe in a very down-low and totally Savannah way, with decoration consisting mostly of excellent letter-press prints and various quirky bits and bobs. The folks are super-friendly to boot. It can get little tight at times, but the division of the place into different areas, with some catering to folks who want to work in quiet and others who want to be more social, works very well. I wish I could have stuck around to see how they do full brunch, but the road was callin', callin' and I was rollin', rollin'. read more

I first heard about this place as they had a food booth at the Food Day Festival in Savannah last year. The Beef & chorizo tacos were outstanding so I wanted to try the cafe. Everything about this place is excellent! The food, staff, service, and ambiance of the place is well worth the price you pay. I had the granola and yoghurt, which was really fresh and tasty, as well as the Mexican Mocha coffee, which had dark chocolate and habanero spices. During the summer they will have fun events like drunken Shakespeare or have some musicians play. Staff is friendly and will remember your order from before you even say it. Also I don't think I've been to a more adorable cafe in my life.
