Not bad. The kolache was my favorite item- warm, tender and stuffed full of cream cheese. The horchata iced latte was way too sweet for me, but I suppose that's to be expected for horchata. Lots of SCAD art students, seems like a good study spot. A variety of indoor and outdoor seating is available. Husband got a taco which I didn't try but which he said was fine. read more

I enjoyed my experience ! The team was welcoming, willing to give recommendations and very accommodating! I recommend the : Match Latte with Orange Zest & Chips and Guacamole. I ordered Tacos later in my visit but it was too late and the kitchen closed. The Barista was very apologetic and several of the team apologized and invited me back! I really enjoyed the courtyard area! It was peaceful and relaxing! read more

We just wanted a coffee and pastry that is pet friendly and we found it here. The staff very welcoming and friendly. We ordered two cafes con leche and a cheese danish. So delicious. I absolutely love Foxy. The vibes are so good for hanging out with friends or studying alone. Their matcha latte is soooo good! So creamy and earthy, but also nice and sweet. I get it with no ice. Their egg kolache is also good! Nice and warm and the egg, cheese, and bread go well together. They have lots of seating. There's an upstairs, downstairs, and a backyard courtyard. read more

The cutest little secret garden. One of my favorite coffee shops in Savannah by far! One of the best things about them is plenty of vegan treats for my dairy allergic son. Our favorite is the cookie dough brownie. I also love their horchata latte and cafe con leche. Sometimes the line is long but it moves very quickly. Inside is acorns! They always have some books for my kids to read.. mismatched furniture, an awesome lush outside with a koi pond, it's all totally my vibe. Parking is not usually an issue either. If only I lived closer! read more

Very glad we ended up here for breakfast and coffee one morning while in town. The wait was short and the staff were all friendly. They have several options for a quick bite. I really enjoyed my matcha and stole a few bites of my husbands breakfast burrito. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a spacious and "chill" courtyard out back! It's a very cute spot so a star for that. I'm not too keen on the shared tables which is what you get stuck with if the tables downstairs and outside are full. I'm also not a fan of standing in line to order your food. But the food was good and it seemed pretty healthy. Lots of options for all the different dietary restrictions so a star for that as well. The staff was also very nice so another star for courteous staff. I think it makes for a decent to-go spot or a light snack if you are lucky enough to get a table that you don't have to share with a college student on their laptop. Keep up the good work kids but maybe do it in the SCAD library instead of hogging tables for hours. Just sayin. read more

We dined in the patio area, which was nice, with fountains, and live music. Fun, funky decor inside, and a surprise hidden in the Ivy in the smoking area out back in the alley. read more

If you are in the area you HAVE to try this gem! I got the Matcha Latte and it was SO much better than the Starbucks one. Highly recommend this place! The staff is so friendly and nice! Giving this place five stars in the hopes that a member of their leadership reads... The coffee is great! I think the extra mile the team members go to make a great coffee (especially with the extras, the Mexican mochas, etc.) is awesome! This morning, the entire crew was in such a bad mood. Was shouted at to shut the front door... A liiiiittle dramatic. Then, getting to the counter as I patiently waited for the 12 people in front of me to order, and the gentleman running the POS being upset that he's still at the front counter (waiting for a 15 or to get off?) was silly. Where was the adult? No one was stepping up to be one this morning. read more

Such a cozy spot! Stopped here this morning for coffee and breakfast. The breakfast burrito was delicious and came with a side of two different sauces. We also had one of the gluten free orange cranberry scones which was so yummy warmed up! Highly recommend both and we will definitely be back. read more

I really wanted to love this place because they have such great reviews, however, I can really only give it 3.5/5. Rounded up to 4 because the food and coffee were delicious & worth the stop! The space where the line queue to order is located is very small and narrow, but the space is ADORABLE! I loved all the kitschy knickknacks they had, like the little coffee plants. You can tell this is a cozy spot to hangout in a non-pandemic situation. You can also see how they tried to utilize the space to make it as safe as possible - one door is the entrance, the other is only to exit, etc. The vegan bakery selection was excellent. We had the vegan cinnamon roll and were not disappointed - it was awesome, even for non-vegans. I highly recommend trying it. I also love their selection of different milk options, including my favorite, oat milk. My wife tried the iced Americano and I got the Cafe Con Leche with oat milk, and we were pleased with both. I could tell they actually used sweetened espresso in my beverage, which I loved. One thing I noticed is how the chaos of having a long line threw off the staff's efficiency. I'm not sure how it typically works in a non-pandemic situation, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The cashier could barely hear me over all the noise. She was very, very sweet and kind, as was the entire staff. However, at least four people had to come back and check on their order or retrieve missing items. We waited 25 minutes outside after telling them we'd be out front (I asked where I should wait & they indicated they would bring our order to us). I didn't mind waiting, but then we noticed a lot of people who came in after us came out with their food. When I went back in to ask, they went somewhere in the back and got my order - it had been made, but then maybe taken outside in the back patio instead of the front? I'm not sure where they left it, honestly. As for parking, like most of Savannah I think street parking is your best bet! We walked there with our dogs and were able to comfortably wait outside on the benches. I would love to come back and try this place again, maybe at a time when it's not as busy. read more

I wanted to love it, but if you're planning on ordering matcha, I wouldn't recommend at all. Their matcha must come pre sweetened because it was EXTREMELY sweet. It did not mention this on the menu and the barista did not inform me before ordering. It tasted like syrup. Highly disappointed. read more

Super cute cafe with an incredible courtyard! Plus, it's dog friendly. This was our first time, since we were visiting, and I was a little confused about the menu. They serve tacos, but that's only starting at 11 a.m. We were there earlier than that and were only able to grab pastries. However, the pastries were very tasty. They have sweet and savory ones. We decided on savory and ordered an egg and cheese, a pizza flavored one and a cheese and sausage. All three were good, but we liked the sausage one the best! I cannot attest to their coffee, but they do have a nice mimosa carafe. Warning, be prepared for a pretty long line. They get busy pretty quick! read more

The best decision we made when visiting Savannah? HELL YES. A+ Service - such a friendly group of people who also gave us tips on areas to explore locally around Midtown Savannah. A+ Food - had a couple of the breakfast sandwiches on biscuits and regretted not having room for about 6 more. SOOOO good. Great selection of sweet treats too! A+ Ambiance - I could have sat out in the back courtyard for hours. If I lived in Savannah this would definitely be a go-to spot for catching up with a friend or getting work done. Lots of greenery and knick knacks that work perfectly within the space. I'm so excited to go back one day and to also try their other foxy-owned locations! Sausage and cheese kolache is very tasty. The bacon and cheese kolache has an enormous amount of thick sliced bacon but the bacon flavor is very mild. I liked the sausage and cheese much better. Mocha is just right. Also recommend the affogato. read more

Established in 2011.

A labor of love for owner Jennifer Jenkins and her family (the cafe is named after her grandmother, Mildred Fox), Foxy Loxy Cafe opened in Savannah, Georgia during the fall of 2011. With an initial focus on creating a great environment for studying, reading and meeting coupled with a dedication to great coffee, Foxy soon expanded into a bakery and Tex-Mex cantina! The seating gradually expanded over the past 2 years as well, starting with meager seating within a revamped Victorian house they then doubled their capacity by offering courtyard seating in the back followed by an upstairs expansion funded by their Kickstarter campaign. Frequented by students, locals and tourists, Foxy Loxy Cafe has established itself as a neighborhood staple and a cherished third space.

We had a hard time parking our truck, and it was not horribly busy. The bartender saw us and told us to grab a table. We waited for 20 minutes with no menu, no water, no offer of any drinks. During that time, a couple of patrons also commented how bad the service was and I noticed very few waiters/waitresses on the floor. The bartender was also bussing too. We left. Horribly disappointed and let them know no one came to serve us. The busboy did apologize but to wait that long is going to eventually hurt your business, no matter what. Not all of us have a leisurely day. I still needed to get back home to work.

Let me just say--he was absolutely right on both counts! We arrived at the restaurant and stood in line outside in the rain. We didn't get seated until 1:00 PM. Normally, I would not wait that long for a meal, but for the record, and I can't believe I'm saying this--it was worth every minute of the wait. The experience was unlike any restaurant I've ever visited. My wife and I were seated at a large table with approximately eight other people whom we had never met. Yet within minutes, it felt like we were dining with family. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with genuine Southern hospitality. The food was simply outstanding. Every traditional Southern dish you can imagine was brought to the table and passed family-style from person to person. The home-cooked flavors reminded me of the meals many of us grew up enjoying. Everything was delicious, and the desserts were just as impressive. What made the experience even more special was the sense of community. People of different backgrounds and races were dining together, sharing food, conversation, and fellowship. Then they bring out the fried chicken on platters. 21 different bowls of southern dishes- okra, rutabagas, greens, beans, corn, biscuits and corn bread.... Oh my there was a lot. You will not go hungry as the staff are near each table and bringing refills of items needed. Then when you've had your fill, they bring by peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top and/or banana pudding! They take cash or check only. They thankfully had an ATM inside. But the man at the cash register said we could leave and go to our own bank if we wanted and come back to pay!! That wouldn't happen at very many places. Still absolutely obsessed with Foxy Loxy! I had to share a little more about their awesome back patio, especially since I recently went for Fire Pit Saturday. They've got two fire pits outside, which create the perfect vibe for a cozy evening. And the best part? They offer free marshmallows for roasting! If you're really in the mood for a treat, you can also grab a s'mores kit inside for purchase. It comes with graham crackers and chocolate, and you can toast your marshmallows right at the fire pit. It's such a fun and delicious way to spend your Saturday night. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a chill hangout spot with great vibes and great food. This is one of my favorite places to bring friends visiting from out of town. The decor is so unique and they have really good tacos. They are kind of expensive but always good. I also like that they have baked goods without eggs, cause I am allergic. Everyone is always really polite, and friendly. I really like their alcohol options too, they have a really good mulled hot wine. My husband and I went their for New Years Eve and it was really nice they had free champagne and a bonfire. My only complaints are that they aren't open on Sundays, and that sometimes depending on the time it is totally full with no seating. Overall one of my favorite spots in Savannah, and be sure to check out the collaged bathrooms! read more

Foxy Loxy is a charming old southern house that's been turned into a cozy coffee shop. The idea is cute, but it was super crowded when I went, and there weren't many seats. They've made the most of every inch of space, but it's still a bit tight. I tried the horchata latte, which was just okay. I was really excited about the horchata, so I was hoping for something more. But I must say, the beef and chorizo taco and pimento cheese dip were absolutely delicious! The flavors were bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the food, and I'll definitely try something different next time I visit the coffee shop. They have on-street parking, which wasn't hard to find when I stopped in. read more

Good take out food. I like what they are doing with flavors (particularly the huevos rancheros quiche) some of the baked goods looked good, but I didn't have any. They carry fentimen's rose lemonade, which is ALWAYS a plus in my book. Be prepared to wait (I was there for over an hour waiting for my order.) just sit on the patio with a drink and enjoy the beautiful day. read more
