First time here and loved being greeted as the establishment. It was ample parking and not crowded. They do accept walk ins but I made an appointment. I had a nice selection of mood color nail polish to select from. I loved that there was 2 television shows to select from. This place was clean and my nail technician was masterful, quick and very creative with my nails. I was very pleased with the service. They accept credit card ( will be charged tax) and cash. The owner did my nails and I have to say. It's been a month and I need to get my nails done again but they look so good still! No broken nails, the color is still luscious and popp'n. I didn't quite like the method they use to remove the previous dip powder but omg! She gave my regular nail lady a run for her money! Plus they have decent complimentary wine. I'd had a bad experience here with my niece about 2 years ago before I'd relocated to the area. But Christy made up for it. I almost don't want to go back to my regular nail lady...I'd just rather come here to see the owner for my nails. You can tell she's been doing this a very long time. Not a bad salon. Very clean, and the owner is very attentive to the customers. The male is a "filler" when they get busy, and he is not trained to give a proper pedicure. *THEY DELETED MY GOOGLE REVIEW* Came in for a pedicure and a man did my pedicure I'm not sure of his name as he didn't speak to me. The worst pedicure I've ever gotten as it felt as if no effort was put into the service. First he removed polish, clipped, and filed my nails before even soaking them. There were times he would just graze the tools over my toes as if he was actually doing something. The scrub brush he used that has been stiff at every other place I've went to was soft as if it had been used on MANY feet before mine, as an added bonus he washed everything really good in my feet water once he was done. Kept gazing into the TV's taking no care to make sure I was enjoying the experience. He never offered to do the callus removal which I really needed but I surely wasn't going to ask for more service if the services I was already getting was no good so I decided to do that at home myself. He put lotion on my WET legs which felt gross and slimy as it wouldn't rub in. He took his gloves off and would stab his Long, SHARP thumb nail into my toe while painting instead of holding it in place and i told him it hurt and he said "oh" still without looking at me and later did it again. I literally couldn't wait for it to be over. When it was over he said "ok" still never making eye contact and walked away to run water for the next customer. The next customer he greeted, asked how she was doing and gave her the pedicure menu. Surely enough he walked to the back and returned with the same worn yellow brush as expected. read more

I, like others here noticed how dirty and unhygienic this salon is. Got a fill on my nails that lasted one week, they are all lifting near cuticle. My daughter got fill same day, hers have all lifted and one came off and took her nail with it. Very pricey too for what you get! read more

Manager was constantly on personal phone calls, no greeting or courtesy. I was there for over two hours for a fill in. No one gave me an update as to how long the service would be. The manager attempted to have me turn towards the wall while I was seating in a chair, she motioned to start on my eyebrows as she continued to talk on the phone. I declined the service. I called to let Christy the owner know and we set up an appointment so they could fix them free of charge, but yet she charged me $46.00 for fixing the issue after waiting almost 3 hours. Went here a week ago and got a gel overlay on my natural nails. The woman who did my manicure was very nice and SUPER meticulous. I was in there for over an hour. Totally fine if it's a good job, but I left there with gel on my skin and a manicure that chipped on day 3. Here's what it looks like after just one week--normal wear and tear! I have been searching for a good nail salon since moving to (outside of) the Richmond area. Unfortunately, Foxy Nails was unable to deliver. I don't think that ever in my life have I had a pedicure chip in the first week - mind you that includes years of competitive swimming. This pedicure was that rare exception. On top of that, my gel manicure is chipping a week out as well. The staff was nice and the location seemed clean, but it's going to cost me less to spend more elsewhere and only have to come in every 2 weeks. read more

Ok so the only reason I'm giving a 3 star is because they actually used to do a good job. I have talked them up & then went in to get a full set (it had been a year) and they didn't last. I got them don't and the day after they lifted. I went back for a fill (mistake) and they put me with a training guy who took forever and didn't tell me until half way through. I went to Foxy Nails salon today and had the worst experience in customer service in my entire life! I have never seen a manager be so cruel to her staff or customers in my life! Christy the manager/owner was just awful to the point 6 customers walked out in the middle of getting their nails done, including myself. I just moved to this area and I highly suggest unless you like being talked to like you are an idiot not going. I was yelled at for not having an appointment. The door advertised walk in's welcome, that wasn't the case at all! I have never left ANY type of salon feeling so upset to the point of crying! Christy is no professional she talked to a client that had been going there for 5 years so badly the lady was extremely upset! I can't believe they can stay in business with this type of atmosphere! When I go to a nail salon I want to feel welcomed and appreciated not running out crying with my nails filed and looking a hot mess! I had such a horrible experience that I am writing this review and many more on this business! I normally would never write a review on a business good or bad but this was so horrible I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through today with these people! Thank you so much!!! I walked in pretty upset because of a horrible gel manicure I had just gotten. I was going to my high school reunion the next day and really wanted my nails to look good. The current manicure was hideous. The owner saw how upset I was and had me sit down immediately and helped me find the right colors then she got to work of removing the polish I had on. A nail tech, San, took over soon and carefully and meticulously got to work. He chatted and joked with the nail tech next to him and with me. He kept asking me how I was doing and if what he was doing was good. Soon he revealed that the owner told him about my problem and to make sure mine was exceptionally good. It was. Great care, a beautiful job (even repairing some horrible shaping from the other salon) and some laughter. Went here to get my eyebrows done and was completely ignored for 10 minutes after I was first greeted. Went to the counter to ask how long it was going to be and the same person who greeted me said "It'll be about 15 minutes." Why wouldn't they tell me that when I first walked in? Basically, they would have left me waiting for almost 30 minutes without a word if I hadn't asked. They may do a great job, but I'll never know because of their complete lack of customer service. I left, went to another place down the street, and was very happy with both the customer service and my eyebrows. I had to give Foxy Nails one star just to be able to write a review. I went into Foxy Nails today with the intent to get a manicure and pedicure. After sitting there for a short while I noticed the place was filthy. Chairs, floors and even the employee's work stations. I returned the polish I had picked out to the shelf and walked out. No one asked why I was leaving. I was outside the front door chatting with another lady whom also walked out without receiving any services. She also commented how dirty the place was. She recently moved to the area and I recommended the nail salon I have been going to for over two years and she plans to go there the first of the week. Tops Nails on Midlothian Turnpike is the best. The owner keeps the salon spotless at all times. After each pedicure he thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the bowl inside and out as well as wipes the floor area surrounding it. Tony also wipes down the entire chair including the headrest regularly. I was going to give Foxy Nails a try since I was at Westchester Commons. I will never step foot into that nasty place again nor should you. read more
