As part of our ticket purchase, we received a delicious table shared appetizer - an amazing dip with warm pita chips! We will be back to have dinner there sometime, just based on how delicious this dip was! Kudos to the chef. We also had a great server named Jackie, who was attentive, energetic and amazing. I really felt like I got to know some of the people also enjoying the show - such camaraderie at this fun and unexpected venue for live music and fun, with fabulous drinks and food.

The Bad: - Room smelled funny. - My AC wouldn't turn off (the wall unit wasn't working and neither did the buttons on the AC itself). It blew cold air at full strength for my entire stay. - Front desk staff is stingy about extra waters...2 isn't enough for an extended stay, period. They don't care about your Hilton Honors status. They will make you pay for extras. First Hilton I've stayed at where that's the case. - No refrigerator in the room. Hope you don't have any leftovers! - Gym is tiny and falling apart. Weights are missing and random parts from the ceiling and other areas of the hotel seem to be thrown in the corner. This hotel has lots of potential, but in the future, I'll be looking elsewhere for my stay.

There was an indoor pool open 10am to 10pm - it looked like there was a lifeguard there too. I never used the pool but it was pretty small and basically like a fishbowl in that it was "on display" with clear views from the bar and hotel lobby. Pool table was fun, a giant connect 4, some other table games were available, and there were cute alcoves that I worked in and caught up with a friend in. Wifi was fast and never cut out. The room was clean, spacious and quite minimalist which aligns with the Aloft branding. Room is cleaned only upon request which I actually like a lot. Across my time there, I put out my trash in the hallway once during the day and it got emptied. I went to the front desk to get refills of shower gel and towels. The shampoo kept coming off the wall but that's ok. Bed was comfy, the thermostat actually worked, and the refrigerator also could be cooled to under 40 degrees with the quick-cool function. There is a coffee maker but I didn't try it out. They had coffee and tea in the mornings. I visited BJ's brewhouse once that is adjacent to the hotel. It was fine. I also walked to Legal Seafoods, and you can walk to Burtons. Natick Mall and Shoppers World are around the corner. As a pet friendly hotel, I did hear some dog barking. I don't mind but something to be aware of as it can wake you up. I can attest that their fire alarm is sufficiently loud as it went off one morning and we evacuated.

The marketplace had basic food options and provides coffee and tea through the night. The bar looks like a nice place to hang out. The hotel is clean and decor is nice. The fitness center has all of your typical equipment. Front attack staff was nice and friendly. I really liked the saline pool so you don't have the overwhelming chlorine smell especially since it's an indoor pool. It was heated and the water was very clear. You need to inform the Front Desk staff if you want to use it because this hotel's policy requires a lifeguard to be on duty when you use the pool. It was no problem because by the time we went to our room to change and went back to the pool, the lifeguard was there or got there a few minutes after we arrived. Overall, the room is very nice and the toiletries provided were pleasantly scented. The bathroom had interesting wallpaper in the bathroom. I liked the WiFi speaker so I could play my own music. The bed was very comfortable and I got a good sleep. Mini fridge always nice to have so you can put in some drinks. The parking lot has many electric car chargers.

The guest key is linked to the elevator providing security. You must swipe your key card and select your floor for access. We had a wonderful stay. The facility and grounds were well taken care of. Beth and Joey at the front desk were very helpful. We had a ceiling light and stove light out and the maintenance and engineering tech was very fast, pleasant, and easy to work with (sorry I didn't catch his name) and got it fixed right off. The kitchen worked out well. We cooked a few things and was glad to have a full fridge and freezer. Everything worked well and was stocked nicely. The temperature controls and unit worked well. They have a nice gym, walking path, doggies station, breakfast area, common seating areas and outdoor space. The only thing that was a bit disheartening were a few of the guests didn't always pick up after their pooches. Thankfully there were plenty of waste baggies so I did my fair share of clean up. I am really thankful to have pet friendly places to stay and wish other people did their part. We did have a run in with a guest who couldn't manage their two dogs so word of caution to be alert around other pups. The breakfast was decent with a variety of options such as oat milk, vegan foods, hot oatmeal, bagels, waffles, french toast, eggs, sausage and vegan sausage. Lots of condiments like PB, cranberry, nuts, seeds, juices and more. The staff did a great job cleaning up and keeping the food and coffee stations filled. One family with their young tots made a full blown disaster and I thanked the ladies who came up after to pick up and scrub it down. We had a king size bed with 4 pillows and extra bedding in the drawers. It was very comfortable as I've always slept well on Marriott mattresses. The room had plenty of storage to unpack, an ironing board, and updated outlets for charging. The rooms were cleaned every other day but I did ask them to come more often to vacuum up after the pup. I appreciated them very much. The view to the outside over route 9 towards the Natick mall was nice. It wasn't too loud and I enjoyed being able to see the grounds. The tree leaves were turning color and the ground people did a great job mowing, trimming and keeping the place looking nice. I look forward to our next stay and highly recommend this location. We met some long term stay guest who were also quite nice. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and welcoming.

The free coffee in the lobby was possibly the worst coffee I ever had, and the parking slots are very narrow, so I guess the damage coverage I got on the rental car was a smart move. I arrived late due to flight delays and called to inform the hotel while we were stuck on the taxiway, but the desk agent seemed to harp on knowing when exactly I would arrive. Since the airline wouldn't let me taxi the A321 to the gate, I had no control over the situation. Snow on the roads from Logan to Natick also caused a delay. Finally I just told the clerk, "I will be there, but I can't give you an exact TOA." It's not easy being the first person ever to be delayed by airline arrival and inclement road conditions. My room was clearly in need of renovation. Old/faded/dated/chipped everything. Awkward space (the bathroom door is hard to navigate around as its arc consumes most of the tiny bathroom). It did smell clean/seem mostly clean (although I didn't white glove test anything) but my shower curtain was clearly soiled with squirts of what I hope was body wash or conditioner from the last guest. The hot/cold water in the bath/shower was backwards (had to push it to cold to get warm water) and leaked out of the handle while it was on. The heater made a loud rattling noise when it was on - but it was too cold to sleep with if off. This coupled with a loud gurgling noise consistently coming from the refrigerator (which is located right next to the head of the bed - really??) - it was very difficult to sleep which definitely impacted my performance at my meetings the next day. The fitness area/gym was terrible with broken equipment and a moldy smell. I also struggled to find something healthy to eat for breakfast. Fortunately the server in the restaurant recognized my struggle and asked the chef to prepare an egg white omelette for me as part of the breakfast buffet. It wasn't the best, but another case of the awesome staff saving what would have otherwise been a bad experience. I do understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations- and I did get a tip (too late for this visit) to ask for a renovated room next time. So I wouldn't write this off as a viable option in the future, but based on this visit (11/2024), there is a lot to be desired.

Everything in the room was clean and passed the blacklight test with flying colors (I take one on vacation, because I am that type of weird). The room was overall surprisingly large! This applies to the room itself, the vanity, the closet, and the bathroom. Some things were a little plain and in various shades of brown, but I am one who looks for a place to stay, not a magnificent work of architectural and interior design. If there is one thing I can personally ding them ever-so-slightly on, it's the bedding. I am the cousin of the The Princess and the Pea, and the conditions for this faux royalty to sleep tight have to be just right (wait, does that make me Goldilocks?). I would have preferred a slightly softer mattress, less firm pillow, and sheets pulled taut with military-grade exactitude. Of course, that's just me and my preferences, YMMV. Where it comes to their staff, everyone I've encountered has been pleasant and kind. While I am not someone who cares for amenities beyond daily housekeeping, I've found they were pretty limited. There is a coffee station, a mini-mart, and that's pretty much it (IIRC). Final verdict: Other than bedding that could be slightly better for this old grouch, the stay was perfectly fine. It took care of everything I seek when I crash for the night. That said, there was also nothing remarkable or above and beyond about the experience. With that, a rock-solid three, not because of issues, but the lack of anything remotely noteworthy.

I do wonder how Marriott marketing tries to differentiate this suite brand from their Residence Inns which I prefer...? This location is very tricky to get to since it is on a road that is basically a 60mph street with no turn/exit lanes. If coming from the west good luck accessing the place. Also leaving the parking lot onto this highway is a danger especially with Boston drivers! At check-in the one clerk was totally consumed with a customer dealing with some non-check -in issue. Finally after waiting 10 minutes she decided to divert her attention and check me in. When I asked about a room upgrade as an elite member she mumbled something about them being booked up but it was clear from the parking lot that this place was pretty empty. This was the fourth Marriott property we stayed at on this trip and the least friendly front desk. The room was fine especially since it is a newer property though we did report an issue with the shower door automatically opening while showering causing a mini flood. Also the bathroom was tiny. The free breakfast was by far the skimpiest we have encountered at any Marriott property that provides a breakfast. It was surprising how limited the choices were. Also this breakfsst was shared with the Fairfield Inn which is in the same building (the Sheraton also in the same building does not offer free breakfast but I am not sure what stops there guests from eating here.) Overall a pretty mediocre experience.
