I love this Restaurant, I have yet to have a bad experience. Beware however, it is extremely small so if you come during a breakfast prime hour, you may have a hard time getting a parking spot or table. The service is always friendly and they always try their best to serve quickly and efficiently. Today, I ordered pick up and it was ready exactly when I got there. I ordered the corned beef hash omelet and it was phenomenal. The corned beef was house made and was some of the best corned beef I've ever had. I found Francesca's on yelp when looking for an all day breakfast spot in Pawtucket. The place is cute, it has easy parking, and the staff was welcoming. The menu is a combination of Mexican and breakfast items and the specials were very compelling. The eggs Benedict with turkey breast avocado, and Cajun hollandaise was amazing. Well, I have been a customer at Francesca's on Pawtucket for a few years. The food had historically been really good, I am not sure what has happened lately. Several weeks ago and again today, what I ordered from the menu, was "not available". The cheese birria tacos are "popular" according to our waitress, so "after the weekend" they run out. My recommendation to the owner, edit the menu to say that it is only available on weekends. My second go at ordering for this visit and often in the past is typically one of the benedicts. Again, as with my last visit, the poached egg was presented with a hard egg yolk. The point of a poached egg, is for the yolk to be silky and runny. At my previous visit, they ended up preparing the eggs again, so I had 4 eggs on my plate. Two that were hard poached and two that were properly poached. A real waste. This time, I didn't bother to ask for properly poached eggs. Unfortunately, I think the quality of this restaurant has suffered some since the opening of their second location. Sadly, I am not certain that I will return. read more

Francesca's is a small place you could easily drive by on your way to breakfast and you'd be sorry you didn't see it and stop. Stopped in for brunch and was happy to see they offer lunch and all-day breakfast. Once inside, they aren't the largest place so not sure if you might typically face a wait depending on when you go, but there were a couple of free tables when we went. I ordered "The Big Plate" which is 3 eggs, 3 bacon and 3 sausages with home fries and toast and side of the hash. The sausages weren't those little breakfast links, they were much larger. The home fries were well seasoned and the softer variety not the harder fried kind. The hash was excellent. Some are mostly potato, but theirs is a nice mix, very meaty and the flavor was great. After ordering we were told of a special "Banana Creme Stuffed French Toast"!!!!! It was every bit as good as it sounded. Everything together was breakfast that day and leftovers for the next day and just as delicious. If you're looking for a new place to try or a hole in the wall breakfast gem, this is definitely one to consider. read more

Wanted to grab a good breakfast and boyyyyy were we happy we went here! The omelets were the best we ever had. The menu is appetizing and so is everything that comes out. Tried out a different place for breakfast. Small place with 8 tables and 4 booths. They have a microscopic parking lot but plenty of on street parking. Hubby had the Francesca's special of 3 eggs, home fries, bacon and toast for $8. I had the breakfast burrito for $10. Hubby really liked his meal with the exception of the eggs being well done. Food was flavorful and plentiful. My burrito was absolutely amazing. Freshly cut up onions and tomatoes and freshly made guacamole and black beans all wrapped up with my well done egg whites. Great little place serving traditional Guatemalan and Mexican breakfast they practice social distancing server wore a mask but no gloves there was only one other couple there but seating has been accommodated for Social Distancing. They have takeout and a window that you walk up to to order that way you don't have to come in. We called ahead and asked if they had patio seating and we were told yes. When we got there there were 2 small (like balcony table small) tables with tiny chairs to match right in front of establishment. Needless to say we opted for dining in. I want to tell you this place is awesome so it stays in business. I don't want to tell you this place is awesome so I can keep getting a seat. Reasons I love this place: (1) the chef truly loves what he does and puts a lot of thought into each dish. Just ask the server about one of them and they will tell you some tidbits about that dish. (2) the homemade salsa (3) the servers are all So Nice, I've had nothing short of great service and I've been many times (4) I've never had a bad meal. We added cheese to the eggs , prob the best eggs we've ever had. Home fries were perfect , the hash had pork in it . On a recent trip to Mass my partner discovered this spot while trying to find gluten free food in the area. On the few occasions I've dined out lately I've only been able to find salads and a rare gluten free, stale bun. Needless to say Francesca's was such a breath of fresh air! I was so happy to see classic breakfast staples available like pancakes, huevos rancheros, and even french toast on the menu. It took all my self control not to order one of each to go. These guys take cross contamination seriously which is rare to find. My huevos rancheros was incredible and I can't understate how good to felt to feel comfortable and safe eating a meal that wasn't prepped in my kitchen. Francesca's easily would become a regular spot for me if I lived in the area. Hell, this is the kinda spot I'd build an entire weekend getaway around just so I can get my brunch fix. read more

Francesca's is a lovely breakfast spot! We went on a Sunday morning with a dog in tow and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. We ordered a round of horchata. This was my first time having horchata and it was SO delicious! I ordered the Motuleno, it was a refreshing and delicious start to the morning. Everything about the breakfast was delicious, but I have to say the highlight was the fried plantains! We tried to order muffins, but they were sold out by the time we arrived. Cute little spot in Pawtucket for a quick breakfast Sunday brunch. I'd recommend getting there early if you are going for Sunday brunch. We arrived at 9:15, and the place started to get crowded around 9:30-10am. I loved the special, the caprese omelette. The meal was fresh, and delicious, served with home fries and toast, it was the perfect serving size. The coffee was good too. I hesitate to call this place a hidden gem, because last few times I've been here it had an ample crowd. They serve delicious, ample breakfast with a Latin American flair. Always interesting and with a rolling list of specials that are a must try. I had a huevos rancheros variation that was incredible. The food here is made with care and served quickly be their great staff. This is a small place, and it's clear that the staff is really invested in making the restaurant a success. I've been blown away by having such a great place for breakfast within walking distance of the East Side. I'm going there this morning and I'm already excited. I love breakfast restaurants. Whenever I travel I try to find the best ones. Today I found Francesca's. The food was good. I decided to try the special omelette because if a place puts effort into creating and featuring it, it's probably worth a try. There are a lot of interesting Mexican items on the menu here. I wanted to try the flan, but I decided to diet instead. This place is small and somewhat plain on the inside. I would decorate more. It's clean and bright and the waitresses are friendly and attentive. There is some parking, but if you are not near the entrance or exit to their parking you might find it harder navigating to a spot. I understand they are about to, or maybe already have, opened a second location, so they are popular and well-regarded, although on this Tuesday at 9 am I'd estimate they are at only 1/3 capacity. read more

This is a great tiny spot with authentic flavor. I always go for an omelette when I go out to breakfast and a lot of places offer a fajita style omelette, this one by far is my favorite. Located where Connie's (of Coca Cola knickknacks) once roosted, just over the city line from North Main Street in Providence, Francesca's serves up delicious food and attentive service in a cantina/cafe, family-feeling place. Let me start with the coffee. Coffee sets the tone for breakfast and this coffee is really good! In fact, my server, a pleasant young non-coffee drinking woman, confirmed that many customers agree. I ordered Maya's Benne from a menu whose many tempting offerings made it tough to choose. Poached eggs with Italian sausage, tomato and mushroom on a bolo with some of the best homefries I've ever had and I consider myself a breakfast potato aficionado. What's a bolo, you ask? I was there recently for the first time for brunch and got the Birria tacos special, which was hands-down one of the best things I've ever eaten. It comes with a consumé to dip the tacos into, which I did; but then I poured some over my home fries because it just couldn't go to waste. My boyfriend got the steak Benedict, which he reviews as "tender, delicious, and flavorful." My flank steak with eggs was exactly the same . I'm getting hungry just writing this review. We'll surely be back again and will recommend this spot to anyone asking for breakfast, lunch, or brunch options. The ONLY questionable/negative aspect of our time was being handed bottled water when asking for water with our other beverages. We didn't ask for it to be bottled but I guess we could've specified that tap water was perfectly fine ‍. I saw other tables with bottled water, so it kind of seems like that's presented to you as the only water option. I had a breakfast special that came with plantains...finally a place who got it right...they were fabulous. And the muffins...mmmm...if they weren't homemade I'd be surprised. It's pretty small inside...maybe 10 tables?The AC struggled to keep up, but it was insanely warm that day (mid 90s). Service was OK; friendly, but a little slow. We have eaten here at the previous two iterations of this place and this version is the best. We showed up with a large party and they were great to make it work for us. We mixed it up and got some breakfast items and some lunch items. Across the board everyone was happy with what they got. My wife got the pancakes and they mixed the banana and chocolate chip on request. She was happy with the combo. Others got the Carne Asada (enjoyed it), Meat Lover's Omelet (loved it), and the Burrito (good stuff). I got the Edgar's Shrimp. The retried beans were great, the Spanish rice was great and the Shrimp (6 or 7 big ones) with a great sauce was great. Overall this was a great meal and I would get it again and again! read more
