It was my first time trying Francesco's and I really wanted to love this place, especially because it's right up the street from me. I hateeee giving anyone low stars but just want to be honest. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was alright, the sauce was very sweet and pizza was soggy from the sauce. The Barbeque wings were low quality and I was so bummed. Still had the feathers on it and was over cooked. It tasted like it could have been overheated. They have online ordering so it was easy to place an order vs have to call in. Both people we interacted at the restaurant was very nice and quick service when picking up. They are located right on mineral spring and did a great job with signage. The pizza shop was also very clean.

First time here. I called an was put on hold for 25 minutes, it was apparent that they forgot about me and stupid of me for waiting that long! I had my husband call and he was able to get through so that's when I hung up! We were a little late to pick up the pizza so it was kind of a cold when we got it. The flavor was good but you definitely need to eat when fresh. It's not one of those pizzas you eat later but that's how I feel about all thin pizzas. It was also a little over done. The crust was hard which is as disappointing to me because I do like the crust. My husband felt like it needed more cheese. I will try them again and just tell them not to overcook my pizza and I will pick it up and eat when fresh.

It's a place tucked into a strip off Atwood ave with an open floor plan. Theres a bar along one end of the room with stools and a fair amount of low top tables for hanging out. I of course dove right into the menu - it consists mostly of "bar foods" so if you're looking for fancy, go elsewhere. If you're looking for good solid bar food options, you've found your place. Everything from fries to burgers to chicken sandwiches to wings. With a lot in between. I got the pretzel bites and 12 honey BBQ wings. The pretzels were YUM! Perfectly salted, warm and served with a stone ground honey pub mustard. The wings are not breaded, with I like. (The tenders are breaded fyi). They bake them, fry them then sauce them so they're super tender. Frankly I want to try all the sauces!!! I got the "everyone likes" version this time so I could share. Next time I'll go for heat and do buffalo. They have 4 tiers, mild, medium, hot and el diablo. Oh baby. I don't think I'm that adventurous.... Yet. The waitress was super nice and accommodating. It was trivia night and very busy, she handled the WHOLE place with drinks and food. Hats off to her for sure. She handled it with a smile, grace and wonderful attitude. A few others got nachos, beef chili and a friend chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Each said they were very good. All in all this place has my business for take out wings going forward and the Wednesday trivia. Thanks Coop, nicely done. CHEERS!

A lot of them are a combination of the…read moresame flavors which makes it a little less impressive, but nonetheless, it was a tough choice to decide on two flavors. They offer different sizes and the more you order, the more flavors you can choose from; 6 pieces - 1 flavor, 10-25 pieces - 2 flavors, 30 pieces - 3 flavors. The prices are good, a little better than those other places. I ordered on the phone for pick up and ended up getting honey garlic and spicy honey lemon pepper. There are some parking spots adjacent to the building. The inside is spacious, with 4-5 tables to dine in and it is very clean. The food wasn't quite ready when I arrived, so I took a seat while waiting. After about another 5 minutes, I did receive my food. First impression was that the wings looked a little dry and small (all 10 fit without an issue in the styrofoam to go mall food containers) but I did like that they were drenched in sauce. However, I was expecting the honey garlic to be darker because of the honey, but the sweetness seemed like it came from a corn syrup type substance as it was clear. The spicy honey lemon pepper did not taste at all like any of those flavors, but it was still good. The wings were dry, but crispy. I was treated well, from my phone call being picked up the first time, to placing my order without a problem, and being greeted with a warm smile when I walked in so there is good customer service.

Chomp is one of those Providence restaurants that I keep finding myself coming back to, even after…read moretelling myself I should probably try something else on the menu. I've eaten my way through quite a few things here over the years, and while there are plenty of good choices, I keep coming back to the Smokey and the Bandit smash burger. At this point, I probably know what I'm ordering before I even sit down. There's just something about that combination that keeps winning. The food here is consistently good. Everything I've had has been fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the kitchen seems to have that part figured out without making a big production of it. The menu has enough variety that you can come in with different appetites and still find something you want, but it doesn't feel like one of those places with a menu the size of a small novel where you need twenty minutes just to decide what you're looking at. The beer selection is another reason I enjoy Chomp. There's enough variety to make choosing a beer part of the experience rather than simply grabbing whatever happens to be on tap. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which is increasingly something I notice because restaurant prices have a funny way of creeping upward when you're not paying attention. The location is another part of the appeal. Chomp sits in a great little part of Providence where you can easily make an evening out of being in the neighborhood. There are plenty of other restaurants, shops, and places to wander around nearby, so it doesn't feel like you're making a special trip just to eat and then immediately getting back in the car. Tonight, though, I have to give a special shout-out to Bella, who was our server. She was outstanding. Friendly, personable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely helpful. She suggested adding bacon to my Smokey and the Bandit, which I probably wouldn't have thought to do on my own. I'm very glad she mentioned it because it was an excellent call. Sometimes the best recommendations are the simple ones, and she nailed it. One piece of advice if you're planning on coming here: make a reservation if you can. Chomp can fill up quickly, and given how good the food is, that really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. It's the kind of restaurant where people come back because they already know they're going to have a good meal, and I'm certainly part of that group. Five stars from me. Great food, good beer, reasonable prices, a fantastic Providence location, and genuinely good service. I've tried enough of the menu over the years to know that Chomp has plenty of options, but apparently I'm still incapable of walking through the door without ordering that Smokey and the Bandit. Add Bella's bacon recommendation to the list of reasons I'm going to keep coming back.

We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.

I had to tone it down and not order two meals for myself so instead ordered more appetizers.. Started with the Original Corn Dogs, Steamed Pork Dumplings , Spicy Edamame , and a small order of their advertised Honey Garlic Wings (beware that the wing options are at the front counter and not on the printed menu). The corn dogs were crispy with a thin style hotdog. The dumplings were flavored with herbs/spices and not just plain. The edamame was covered in what tasted like delicious pickled mildly spicy pimental peppers. The honey garlic wings came out hot, crispy and the sauce was finger-licking good. I was legit scraping the empty wing try with a spoon to savor the fresh garlicky/savory/sweet sauce. We both decided to dive into a Dumpling Kimchee Ramen.. Of course I added rice cakes and vegetables.. it came out steaming hot and def burned my mouth on it but it was worth it I've never had kimchi in my soup but I definitely enjoyed the flavor. The soup was stocky and came out with a nice size serving. I'll be back to try the Stonepot Bibimbop!
