Great servers, great bartenders, great chefs. I love the ambiance and energy inside this restaurant and love eating outside on a beautiful spring day. On to the review! party of 6 and we must have been lucky because there was a table ready and didn't even have to wait( place was busy). We were waited on right away and got our drink orders in and with in minutes we had them and we all know what we wanted already so we put our orders in and the server asked if we wanted our food together or just bring it out as it gets done. We all agreed as it gets done and before you know it fresh pipping hot food starts arriving to our table. While waiting for the food and talking with the family I was able to get a good vibe check of the ambiance of this place and I must say I good really great vibe and felt like was just a bunch of happy people eating and having greats convos with one another. :-) On to the food! Nachos - Super awesome and crunchy and fresh. not soggy at all and a huge portion for 15 bucks! Margherita pizza - Super fresh piping hot pizza with fresh tomatoes and Basil! Sriracha Buffalo Cauliflower - This is where things started to turn inconsistent. let's see we had three orders of these and pretty much all three orders looked different, tasted different and some of the bigger pieces were not cooked through. All three of us did share each others to compare tastes. Reggie's Raw Heaven Salad - I did not eat the salad but I looked at it and asked the couple how they liked it and they said it was awesome! Note to self to try next time! Sweet Potato Wedges - Hot and fresh but again with the inconsistency, some were over cooked almost burnt and some were a little under cooked but for the most part they were nice and crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy soft on the inside. Overall - I do love this place, I can't wait to come back and see if the food can be a little more consistent.. This place has really great vibe to it and I do recommend it for a good vegan food spot!

What a find! I am not a vegetarian or a vegan but I have been exploring more plant forward foods. I…read morehave to say Heirloom Food Company makes a mighty fine vegan burger made in-house, filled with healthy lentils, brown rice, beets (don't turn your nose up to beets. The patty did not taste at all of beets) and fresh lettuce, purple cabbage, cucumber and carrot toppings with this melted slice of vegan cheddar on a crispy grilled patty. The Beta Burger had this beautiful grilled flavor to it. It was so good I actually purchased patties to take home. We also tried the vegan blt wrap. All fresh and good in its own right. I would definitely go back again especially for the Beta Burger.

This is delicious, homespun, feel-good health food that took a lot of thought, a lot of love and a lot of work. Sourcing beautiful organic and local produce, washing and prepping all the vegetables and fruits, making up truly healthful food combinations (mock chicken salad)... it's a process. We were greeted pleasantly in a warm and great-smelling space filled with local art. It's all counter ordering. We settled on the Burrito Bowl and the Buffalo Rice Bowl (I asked for a different topping though- the almond maple sauce from the Vegan Buddha Bowl). They came out fast and both were quite large. Big wow. A wide variety of textures and flavors. The mock chicken salad was fantastic. Roasted broccoli: perfection. I really should have taken some with me but I couldn't stop eating. Also had a hot coffee with oat milk that was tasty, hot and hit the spot. I'm gobsmacked. Can't wait to go back and see these talented gals again. Four thumbs up. Fantastic!

The fresh pasta made…read morein-house is incredible and everything on the menu is vegan and delicious, even to my somewhat picky omnivore dining partners :). Everyone who works there is friendly and inviting, and even gave us a cute little amuse to start the night and the buckwheat shortbread to end. Here's everything we ordered: Agnolotti stuffed with tofu ricotta, with English peas, bacon, and a savory broth (my entree, I loved this - the broth was quite salty but the peas added a lovely freshness) Fazzoletti e funghi: local blue oyster mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce ‍ (my Mom's entree, also delicious and so umami) "Ivy rose" mocktail with grapefruit, prickly pear, and limeade (delightful!) Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect. Foglia burger: house burger patty, tomato jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onions, pickles, onion ring, housemade focaccia, and spicy agave parsnip fries (my dad's entree and to my delight he really enjoyed it!) Dessert: a gigantic slice of tiramisu (my favorite cake!). This was a huge slab, enough to share and have some leftover for breakfast. A little on the dry side for tiramisu but still really nice. Foglia is such a gem and we had a great time in Bristol, it's a beautiful town. The restaurant is small and cozy but was not too busy when we went. I highly recommend Foglia for a special occasion!

I SO badly wanted to love it but I just can't give the place above a 2 star. The first thing they…read morebrought was almost comical: a nickel-sized square of focaccia with a bit of jam and cheese. I have never in my life been served what I'd consider half a bite of food. I'd almost rather they bring nothing at all than a comically small piece of bread. My food (basil pesto pasta) was good but the quantities are quite small, especially for the price. TLDR: Don't come hungry or on a budget. The real reason for the low rating was the $34 mushroom entree. "Potatoes" here just means two bites of potato, which is kind of crazy considering how cheap potatoes are. "Carrots" meant 4 (kind of sad) carrots, and the mushroom (the main part of the dish) was so small it was comical. My dad was disappointed (he also wanted to love it here) and when they asked how it was, he gave his honest feedback. The waitress took the info back and he repeated his thoughts to the manager about the disappointing portion. He said he only got like two bites of potato and she said "oh they weren't in pyramids?" (Like that resolves the quantity of food?) He repeated again that it was about the quantity and was told "No one has said that about this." I suppose people must only have thought it... Felt really dismissive to say to someone, especially because this plate was apparently new (they said today was the first day they had it). They didn't comp anything or even discount it after the manager came over, which I feel like is standard practice when folks are unhappy with their meal. Felt like she just wanted to shut down the complaint rather than resolve it. They brought us, at the end of the meal, a "thank you" which was 2 lemon candies... there were 3 of us (not that we really wanted them anyway, but weird to not give at least one per person). The atmosphere is relaxed, the place is quite small in a sweet way and it's tucked away from the street, but I will never return. Ridiculous pricing for tiny portions. It felt like a SNL skit.

The chefs are true artists, imagining and executing haute cuisine with skill, precision, and personality. We opted for the optional caviar starter course, which was brilliant. The caviar, served with Pringles potato chips and tangy egg salad, was an exquisite introduction to the tasting menu. The house-made sourdough focaccia with homemade butter may have been the best bread we've eaten. The dayboat scallop was pan-seared and paired with ginger whey-poached pork belly, Anson Mills Carolina Gold lobster congee, and a sake-soy veil. It was incredible. The peas and carrots course of Thumbelina carrots, sweet peas, whipped coconut, and carrot-mint consommé was unlike anything we've experienced before. It was inspired. The fluke was sorrel brioche-crusted and accompanied by razor clam escabeche, sauce romesco, and sea beans, was magnificent. The chef spoke about harvesting the local sea beans himself, and the razor clam purveyor happened to be dining alongside us. It was a memorable and distinctly Cape Cod moment. The intermezzo was a cranberry membrane filled with a refreshing burst of vodka, and delightfully cleansed the palate. The optional foie gras bonbon, encased in milk chocolate, was another triumph. We agreed we would have missed out had we passed on it. It was one of the finest foie gras bites we've ever enjoyed. The tri-tip sirloin course featured American Wagyu with sweet onion soubise and toasted ramp-and-vinegar gnocchi. "Amazing" hardly begins to describe it. The Humboldt Fog cheese course was dramatically torched tableside and served with blueberry shallot jam, toasted milk bread, and smoked almonds. Sublime, artistic, and utterly delicious. The included dessert course featured caramelized white chocolate, lychee, pink guava sorbet, macadamia toffee, white chocolate gel, and olive oil sponge. It was unbelievably good. An optional dessert accompaniment, ordered by every diner, was a layered chocolate, shortbread, and banana tart topped with caviar was a playful and fitting finale. The charming atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent music had diners on their feet dancing between courses. We finished with their homemade Mignardises and were given a lovely packet to take home which included a homemade scone. This restaurant is wildly civilized. Many courses were served on beautiful handcrafted pieces from Scargo Pottery in Dennis collaboratively designed by the chef and the talented Scargo artist Tina Holl. I offer only praise and gratitude for the extraordinary food, welcoming atmosphere, talented and artistic staff, and a dining experience that reminds us how exceptional Cape Cod dining can be. Clean Slate delivered one of the most memorable meals we've had anywhere on the Cape.
