The restaurant has a nice rustic, old-school Italian vibe, which I liked. The veal parmigiana was good, but the pasta portion that came with it could definitely be better. The starter bread was a nice touch, especially with the roasted garlic spread and it added a great twist compared to the typical olive oil and vinaigrette combo. The seafood pasta looked great I'd consider coming back to try it if I'm in the area again. Service is an area they really need to improve. Franco's Italian restaurant is a quaint family owned and operated restaurant that serves both delicious food and makes you feel like part of the family. From the outside looks can be deceiving but once we went in and got sat we were happy we gave it a chance. The food is phenomenal. The chef is also the owner with his wife and you can tell he has a passion for cooking. The servers are also part of the family. Our server was one of the sons and he was personable and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Being our first time we wanted to try a few different parts of the menu but in the future we plan to try from their specials menu which seems to get updated daily. Incredible Italian Food! From the Fried Calamari to Decadent Desserts! Every dish was a hit! We started with the fried calamari. The calamari was perfectly crispy and paired with a rich, flavorful red sauce that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The bread was fresh, warm, and so good. For our main dishes, we enjoyed a mix of specials and classic pasta dishes! The chicken stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and prosciutto in a creamy mushroom sauce had incredible flavor and was perfectly cooked. The Chilean sea bass was delicate, buttery, and paired beautifully with shrimp and pasta in a light caper sauce. The penne in vodka sauce was rich, velvety, and full of flavor with prosciutto. My family and I have been coming to this 'mom-n-pop' Italian restaurant for over 10 yrs. This place is truly family-owned and operated. They genuinely want to give the best service to all of their customers. They want to get to know you and yours so that you'll become like family. The chef is the Dad and he's classically trained which means everything is delicious! Even when a dish sounds like it will have the same flavors as another, you are surprised to learn they're all uniquely different and delicious! The ambiance is cute and cozy. It's perfect for families with kids bc they have a separate kids menu. My young kid really likes their pink sauce so they get the rigatoni vodka. First time coming here. Ordered via the button on their yelp. When we arrived to pick up our order the restaurant said they never received it. They made our order anyway since we had paid for it online and we waited . They forgot our utensils. Then when we got to the park to eat our food the chicken was missing from our fettuccine Alfredo. Called the restaurant and they apologized and said they'd give me a cash refund just come and pick it up. When I went to pick it up an elderly lady at the front said "if I were you , I'd just get the chicken" in my mind I'm like what will I do with chicken we already ate the plain fettuccine. She then went on to blame the online platform I ordered on saying they didn't have yelp. Um that's how I found them. I took out my phone showed her exactly how I placed my order, on their yelp via the "order" button. She went on to say "we never received the order" I was like that's not my problem as a company that is how you are advertising. So I asked "as a company what can you do for me?" I ordered something I never received. She decided to FINALlY give me the $5 I was waiting for from the beginning. As a business stop blaming online platforms that are clearly connected on your yelp. It is a very small place. They do take walk ins but prefer you to have a reservation for dinner time as there is limited seating. If you are looking for a modern places, this isn't it. This place gives off very old times vibes. The wait staff is very nice, and would check in on us ever so often. They give complementary a bread basket and the bread always comes to you hot. We got a crab cake appetizer, and the crab cakes came out crispy and piping hot. The salad that came with it was also very delicious. I got the Pasta Shells Gorgonzola, and it was delicious. The peas were very firm, so if you life softer peas then you should probably let them know. The shells were cook al dented. It had a very good chew to it. Been here a handful of times and each time it's been a great experience. My wife had the chicken parm and she carves it all the time. I usually get the spaghetti and meatballs but one time she made me order the chicken parm and it was really really good. Now I know why she loves it here. This location looks like it's hanging by thread and the way they conduct business when someone is unsatisfied is probably the reason why. Ambiance: 3/10. Very dated, tables are unstable. Blue cheese pasta, excellent! Also tried once of their daily specials, can't recall what is called, but the sauce was way too salty- couldn't get through it. Price: price is comparable to high-mid end Italian restaurants, but it doesn't match what is being offered. Overall, our experience started off well. There were two servers, an older man and a middle aged man. Both were very nice and attentive. I was not blown away by the bread that was offered, but I was convinced that it was probably an off day. The cesar salad was ok, the pizza was not my favorite (again my issue with the bread, maybe not their speciality), but we order a blue cheese pasta and it was so delicious! Best dish from all that was ordered. Now, we also ordered one of their specials, I think it was a chicken cordon bleu. Firstly, the server brought out the wrong dish. Not a problem, he recognized the mistake immediately and corrected it. By the time we had got the correct dish, we had already finished eating. Again, not a big problem, we planned to try it and take the rest home. The cordon bleu came slathered in a brown sauce, and it was very overpoweringly salty. We couldn't get through it and we felt bad, but we asked if we could send it back. The older server took it back and we apologized repeatedly. We waited for the middle age server to come back so we can ask for the bill. While waiting some older lady with blonde hair appears and is looking us strangely. We make eye contact and she says something like "yes? You wanted to talk". We had not seen this lady before so we said no. When the middle age server brings us the bill, we see that special is still on the bill. Confused, we go to the front and asked if we are still being charged even though we sent it back. His face completely changed and he asked why. We told him it was too salty and couldn't eat it. Meanwhile, blonde hair lady was standing around listening. She decided to chime and say something like "that is not true, it is not salty, but ok". The middle aged server asked us what we wanted him to do, take it off the bill? Look, at this point it was very tense and uncomfortable and I said, it's fine. Well just pay for it. He ended up taking it off the bill and we told him to keep the money for tip- mind you it was like a $30 something plate. We even gave him a little extra. No thank you, nothing, just immediately turned around and walked away. We felt like we had to run out of there was it felt like the whole staff was offended that we didn't like one of the dishes. Needless to say, we will not be returning. It seems most people keeping coming here because of nostalgia or because of the service. Maybe the initial service we had could have warranted a future visit, but just like the cordon bleu, the ending experience left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Franco's has been our go to Italian Restaurant for years. Elizabeth, Luigi & Rauedel are very welcoming and friendly. We even went there on New Year's Eve (Duck à l'orange was the special)! The food pricing is very reasonable and their wine prices are affordable. Frankly, the food is every bit as good as you will find at a fine dining restaurant (reminiscent of NYC Italian spots I've visited). I've never been disappointed here with anything I've ordered.
