Nice place for some late night pizza! I liked their BBQ chicken option on the pizzas. The one letdown was that they forgot the fresh basil on the pizza and it was only until I got back to the hotel and opened the box that I realized. That totally killed an important dimension of the pizza unfortunately. I would probably be back the next time I am visiting in town and get in late. Saw a lot of students eating there late night as well!

We stopped by around 9:30 PM on a Saturday. A heads-up on parking it's all street parking and most spots you need to pay for, so be sure to check signage carefully. The place is near a college campus, so if you're expecting a quiet dinner, keep in mind that the evening crowd can be lively as students start their night out. My best friend and I shared the chicken Philly sandwich, chicken nugget pizza, and an order of onion rings. Everything tasted good overall. That said, I found the chicken Philly a bit underwhelming for the price. I thought it was light on the meat and heavy on the bread. The onion rings had a nice flavor but were a touch greasy for my liking. Ordering is simple: you order at the counter, and they call your name when it's ready. Casual and straightforward. I'd probably come back if I'm in the area again....though maybe not on a Saturday night. Worth checking out if you're nearby!

I'm a big fan of Tono's, so when I learned this place was affiliated with them, I put it on my hit list I was NOT disappointed Other than not having a parking lot (not that I saw), I have no complaints. The vibe was new, clean, standard. There was a portrait of Biggie on the wall, which I appreciate (I'm a hip hop head). The service was quick, the price was reasonable and the pizza was delicious. I had both the margarita slice and tha mac and cheese, the later being the best of its kind that I've ever tasted Would recommend

Been wanting to try this place for over a year. I recently moved closer and finally tried this spot. We tried it out on a Saturday night around 9pm. Keep in mind this is in the middle of a college city so you may run into loud and rude college kids like we did. Make your mother proud and clean up after yourself - sheesh! The food itself was really good. There is a lot of pizza to choose from and a handful of sandwiches. We tried the chicken nugget pizza (I thought it was buffalo chicken) and the chicken Philly. We also paired that with onion rings. The onion rings were good, but a little on the greasy side. The pizza was excellent and had great flavor. The sandwich was good, but could have been spiced a bit more. I will say they skimped on the portion of meat on our sandwich. Everything was served hot and only took about 5 minutes before it was ready.

I work late -- i own a trivia business (the bar exams!) -- and so I get home at like midnight. Thursday's the end of my week, so for years now i like to order food LATE and for delivery. Nobody in MPLS comes close to Frank's when it comes to these things: 1) Open after midnight (gd this is HUGE); 2) Delivery available 3) Consistent THE CHEESESTEAK NEVER MISSES. Pizzas are great too but i prefer the Fat Tony. I cannot believe how much better it is than any other sandwich i could order in Minneapolis at 1am Never change, guys.

Was visiting from out of town, found myself in a bind in the neighborhood and saw this place was open. Popped in and was pleasantly surprised. For a pizzeria on a college campus this is about as good as it gets ! 2 big quality and a soda for $10.50 is an excellent deal. Guy working the register was extremely friendly. If I was a Gopher I'd eat here all the time.

Pizza was hot and ready. You buy 2 single slices you get a free drink which was cool. I get that this a college town dive pizza place, but the seating area was disgusting and trashed and the bathrooms were abysmal. Would def recommend the pizza though if you want to grab it and go

Frank and Andreas is a classic of the Dinky town area. It fills a niche really well, and that is a place to get a quick snack. Pizza by the slice is fun, and pizza is almost always good, but unless I'm in a hurry or in a very specific mood I'm probably not choosing Franks. That doesn't mean it's bad at all rather there are just better options outside those occasions. You will not be disappointed if you are hankering for a slice, but it's definitely not the number one choice for pizza. It can be a bit pricy for what you get considering how cheap pizza chains have gotten over the years, but again if you want a quick slice it does the job. It can be fun in the place itself on game days.

Never walking into this restaurant again. After eating an overpriced, mediocre slice of pizza, I walked out the door and realized I did not have my wallet. I walked back inside through the back door and a security guard confronted me. I explained the situation, but he yelled "where is your wallet" and told me to leave immediately. I obviously could not procure the wallet for this man since I lost it sometime in the restaurant (or before I entered since I often use Apple Pay). He repeatedly yelled "then where is your wallet" and grabbed my arm and attempted to hurl me out the door. Unfortunately, he succeeded in tearing part of the sleeve off my jacket. I left and found my wallet in the car, but had the worst customer service experience of my life. I would rather spend my money in a Taco Bell drive-through than have to deal with their self-empowered staff in the future.

We stopped by here to get a slice of pizza after a basketball game. It was convenient. Service was good and polite. It wasn't too busy. It looks like a typical college town pizza place. It was clean.

This is one of the best cheesesteaks that I've had in Minnesota! It arrived to my table piping hot. It was a large enough sandwich for my wife & I to split. The fries that we ordered were perfectly crisp.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! However, Parking is a Debbie downer. We tried the supreme cheesesteaks, Cajun chicken pizza, and pepperoni pizza. Got a free drink with two slices as well. I had fries too but wasn't a big fan. The staff were friendly and helpful. The seating was limited but doable at 6pm. I'm definitely returning.

It's a humble-looking spot inside, but it doesn't lack in its food. Most is a self-service situation where you're choosing your table to sit at, grabbing your own water, and bussing your own table if you have the time. Casual spot with some interesting pizza. Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

I've been here a ton of times but always for take out. The restaurant is self service meaning you sit yourself and get your own water. It was really busy when we went but food came out in about 20 minutes for how packed the restaurant was. The empanadas are a must. I've tried most of them but the carne is my favorite. And the chimichurri is so good with a nice vinegar kick with fresh herbs The Campo pizza comes with chorizo, mushrooms, onions and mozzarella. The best part is the parmesan cheese they put on the crust. I would like the amount of cheese on the crust they show in pictures match what you get in person. Our pizza was really heavy on the mozz and not enough balance of the other ingredients. Also got the flan which has candied pecans and dolce de leche on top and the custard below. It tastes the best when you have a bite of everything but the jar they put it in makes it difficult. If you like flan it's a good dessert to try.

I ordered thru Uber eats and the delivery driver decided to take his sweet time to deliver the pizza. As I waiting in the lobby of my hotel for him, I saw him pull up to my hotel and he sat in his car for nearly 10 minutes doing God knows what as he left his vehicle. He slowly walked towards the entrance of the hotel holding my pizza while on his phone laughing. I'm pretty sure he was on Instagram. Seen a very funny post while my pizza is getting colder and colder. I contacted Uber eats and they told me it wasn't their problem. I would have to contact the restaurant. It has a lively but comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and service was impressively quick from start to finish. We started with the app bread, which was super good and a great way to kick off the meal. I decided to order two pizzas and split both in half, which let me try four different varieties. It was definitely the right move. The bacon and golden pineapple pizza was one of my favorites. It was refreshing, had a nice little kick, and further confirmed that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. The lemon ricotta with goat cheese was also tasty, but the cheese was so rich that it started to dry out my mouth after a couple of slices. The meatball and ricotta pizza was a classic done really well. The meatballs were especially flavorful and clearly high quality. My favorite of the four was the hot salami and chili pepper pizza. It was absolutely divine with just enough heat, and the salami was perfectly crisped. The only downside to the pizzas was the crust. It was very thin, which made it difficult to hold all the toppings without them sliding off. There also was not much sauce, which made some bites feel a little dry. Overall, Black Sheep delivers creative and delicious pizzas in a fun atmosphere with fast, friendly service. Despite a few issues with the breading of the pizzas, I would definitely come back to try even more of the menu.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

There was no char, which defeats the entire point of Yakitori and really does not bring out the flavor of the meat. I also ordered the pasta dish off the seasonal menu, and it was underseasoned.
