The defect caused structural expansion that lifted the rear seat, creating a serious safety risk. I have since learned this issue could have led to a much more dangerous outcome. When I contacted Pegasus, they immediately refused responsibility and directed me to the manufacturer, offering no assistance, no guidance, and no support. Selling a vehicle with an open safety recall--especially one involving potential safety hazards--raises serious concerns regarding: Failure to disclose material defects Lack of due diligence prior to sale Potential violations of Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) As a result of Pegasus' actions, I am now: Without a vehicle Still responsible for a loan tied to this purchase Forced to rely entirely on the manufacturer for resolution Pegasus has made zero effort to assist or advocate on my behalf, nor have they offered any form of transportation or resolution. This experience demonstrates a complete disregard for customer safety and consumer protection standards. He called the salesman, if we can even call him that, and said he was on his way to pickup the vehicle. His application was ran & his credit was hit. After he was halfway there, 1 1/2 hours into the drive, he gets a text that the car he wanted was sold to someone else. I'm in a customer service industry and that's not only unprofessional but downright ridiculous. To top off the experience my brother called the General Manger and he said, "we will do what's right and find you another vehicle" it's been FIVE days and he has ignored every single call. No one would call me back had to go into dealership and still could not get paperwork as they said they mailed it. The vehicle I purchase was 37K and I put 15k down when I got my finance paperwork from lender it says I owe 37K went o deal and they still would not give me paperwork but they brought out a paper that they had put up to 15K of charges on. I have contacted an attorney about this as this dealership in underhanded, so stay away from them dont even stop as they will lie and cheat.
