Every dish arrived at temp, plated beautifully, and with the same attention to detail you'd expect at a two-top. Between my partner and me, we shared the Wagyu tartare, seared scallops, 30-day aged bluefin tuna, and the foraged mushroom risotto. Every bite felt intentional. The tartare was silky and perfectly seasoned, the scallops were caramelized and tender, and the bluefin was rich and clean with that perfect melt. The risotto hit all the comfort notes without being heavy, layered with truffle and deep umami. Cocktails were another standout. The Coastal Bloom was bright, crisp, and herbal, while the Foray Old Fashioned brought rich coffee and cacao flavors that tied perfectly into dessert. We ended with the candy cap bread pudding and dark chocolate tres leches, both elegant and balanced, the kind of desserts you remember days later. Foray delivered a wedding dinner that felt personal and polished all at once. Exceptional food, kind staff, and one of the best group dining experiences we've ever had in Carmel.

The restaurant is actually quite stunning the little details of every chair at the table being different made you feel like you were coming to dinner at a friends very well decorated friends home (with a view) the fixtures and textures were absolutely worth mentioning The service was out of this world. Avery helped us. His service was top-tier. It definitely matched the ambience and the food. Unforgettable. Now for the food, oh my goodness the food we started with a garlic cheesy bread and the burrata appetizer. You can absolutely tell that this bread is baked fresh in house daily and was delicious the burrata appetizer mouthwatering ,fresh & crisp just wonderful. The balsamic made me crave for more. It just was really that good. But now for the absolute star of the show the vodka pasta. Life-changing. I've been thinking about it for the last two weeks and I need to go back. I made a date with my mom next weekend to take her. I already know what I'll be having. I know I know we should all try something new but let me tell you it was that phenomenal. You can literally watch them making the pasta right there in the front window. It's all in the details here. Thank you for the wonderful staff for treating my beautiful niece and I to a wonderful evening. You have made a customers for life. Honestly I'm mad I haven't found this place earlier. I will definitely definitely be back

We were given good advice to spend our money on another pasta dish than on an appetizer, given we were a family of four hungry people. The homemade pasta made such a difference! Each of us had our favorite, though we liked everything. I enjoyed the carbonara, the consistency of the noodles was something I'd never really had, it was marvelous. My younger son selected the cacio e pepe, enjoying the tasty mushroom and sausage dish. The older boy selected the orecchiette, besides a good pasta the chicken had a grilled flavor that stood out. My wife favored the rigatoni, which featured a really good rago sauce. Keeping in mind it's all homemade fare, the price is justified. The portions don't look overwhelmingly huge, yet none of us complained about being hungry when we were done. I definitely will try one of their seafood dishes on our return visit.

Absolutely would NOT recommend the fries, $16 for McDonalds fries. Seriously, they tasted, looked, and felt like Mcdonald's fries but more greasy. The vegetarian burger was fine, not appalling but very bland. The bottom of the bread was so overtoasted it was hard like a crouton, which made it sort of difficult to bite into. For a $30 sandwich I would expect more. The bean salad on the side actually was pretty good. I think the waiter forgot to bring our water for a while, which was fine, but it did really seem like we were getting worse service after not ordering anything to drink. Also, they started cleaning up while I was waiting for my friend in the bathroom, and it seemed pretty empty as we were leaving, so I don't believe they needed to clear it for another party coming in. However, the servers were polite, so I can give them the benefit of the doubt on these fronts. Overall, I understand in some places you're paying for the view, but this is in Big Sur, you can get better views on the side of the highway. We could've had a better lunch if we made it ourselves and packed it, or even went to one of the general stores in town to pick up a sandwich. If the food was good, I would understand the price and hype, but it was honestly below mediocre quality, and I'm not a picky eater. Glad we tried it, but not a place I will return to.

I wanted something to drink that wasn't sweet, so I tried their raspberry ice tea. They used a sugary syrup to flavor the tea, and that was a strike out. It was sweeter than a soda, so it went back and I swapped it out for a plain unsweetened ice tea. Then we tried the cheesy garlic bread, which we were really looking forward to. Welp, it came out with mozzarella cheese and a ton of corn. No butter. No garlic. We all looked at each other when we tried it. Ok, let's try their brussel sprouts. Those are hard to mess up - but sure enough, they managed to. They deep fried them to the point they were black and charred. There wasn't anything left of the brussel sprout itself, it was mostly crunchy charcoal. At this point, we all ordered something we assumed would be safe for our main. I got the sliders and a side salad. I had the salad but only of the sliders. The cheese on it was queso, like you use to dip chips, so it was ran all over the place and the burger was a grease ball. I won't even get into what everyone else had, but they had similar experiences. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. Maybe there are other things or other times where this place is better, but it was a swing and a miss for us.

Located in Pacific Grove, this restaurant is well known for its sustainable seafood and fresh ingredients. Street parking is available but you may need to drive around to get a spot close to the restaurant. We made a reservation online, and we were notified our table was ready 15 mins prior to our reservation time. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hostess. The restaurant was mid sized, but it felt warm and cozy. The menu was quite simple, but the selections were solid. We had the salmon cervice as appetizer, salad, scallop entree, and halibut entree. The cervice was delicious and we loved the innovative concept. The salad was great with perfect balance of veggie, dressing, and cheese. The scallop entree was very flavorful as well. For desserts, we gad the banana pudding with ice-cream, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our dinner. As for service, our waiters were attentive and friendly. The bill for our meal was around $200, which was very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!
