Triple S pizza.......an absolutely beautiful pizza to look at and one of the best item combinations I've ever had. Delicious!
Andy L.

I'd been meaning to get to try Frankie's for some time and today I finally got the chance. Small place, pretty much carry out only. Located at the end of a little strip mall, next to a Brewery and a Chinese food place next to that. Pretty decent menu with your standard pizza shop offerings. What caught my eye and why I wanted to stop by is Frankie's Triple S pizza.......Salami, Sausage and Spinach. Plus garlic, mozzarella, parmesan and topped with basil. No sauce. I've never seen that combo before and it intrigued me. So I called my order in and talked to Frankie himself. When I went to pick it up he provided a happy and pleasant attitude and thanked me for stopping by. Which, I appreciated. Great customer service goes a long way with me in this day and age. The pizza was exceptionally delicious. The tanginess of the salami works really well with the sausage, spinach, garlic and basil. No sauce here, but that's completely fine. It's not needed. One of the best item combinations I've ever had on a pizza. Simply wonderful. Super happy I stopped into Frankie's. It's not hard to see why Frankie's is rated one of the best pizza shops around and has a 4.5 star review average here on Yelp. I'll be a repeat customer for sure!

10. Meat Lovers small & red onion/green pepper on

I will admit first attempt to get it didn't work out due to a third party error (I've already contacted them & sometime this week my money lost will be sent back) & second attempt using a reputable one I know got lucky & I ordered Meat Loaves with red onions/green peppers added on, French fries & sausage grinder with peppers/onions & I've got plenty left over for myself, portions are very good and tasty, grinder's excellent even if you have a little grease (that's Italian Sausage) & the bunch can do delivery to your house via third party crew (just use a good one & my own recommendation). Oh yes photos will be available & I see why they promote it on local TV in my area because if the grinder was a sign more good quality is coming to my stomach.

Frankie's..... knocks it out of the park, AGAIN! The place was very busy and the food came out perfect!!! Thank you

The pizza was crisp, yet chewy. Not greasy, perfect amount of cheese and sauce ratio. The sauce had great flavor. I loved the garlic on the garlic pizza. It was well balanced. Order online it's so easy!

Hawaiian: Ham, Bacon & Pineapple

I've been hearing great things about Frankie's on my town's FB forum so decided to stop in and give it a try for myself. I'm glad I did, the pizza and customer service did not disappoint! My best friend ordered a personal sized Margherita. Unfortunately, it came out soupy in the middle (to the point where if she lifted a slice, all the sauce/cheese would've slid off). She was hesitant to bring it to their attention because she's not one to complain, but glad she did because Frankie graciously fixed her up a new one - no questions asked. The 2nd Margherita came out perfectly! I ordered a personal Hawiian and love that it comes with both ham and bacon. At most pizza joints a Hawiian is just ham and pineapple, and adding bacon of course is an up-charge. I appreciate that Frankie's makes a Hawiian just the way I like it! I'm also a crust girl, and frankie's does it right! It is deliciously thin (but not floppy), slightly charred, and perfectly airy. Al-in-all, I'm glad they've moved into the neighborhood! Their location is where the old Luigi's used to be (next to Li's Brother's). There is no option for delivery yet, and the restaurant is only big enough to fit 2 high-top, 2 seater tables; however, next door is 1WayBrewing Co. to which you can bring your pies over, have a seat, and enjoy a beer there with your pizza(s).

Please don't ask me why there is no pictures of the pizza I ordered; we happily ate it in record time. However, you still may be possessed by a spirit of inquiry , well then, it is because Frankie's has one hella pizza product!!!! Frankie, there is a Frankie, comes to the pizza biz with creds, his family has been in the pizza business in the Springfield area for many years. I remember going to the family restaurant and seeing a very young Framkie working the pizza ovens, learning the craft many years ago. Well folks, he's graduated and with honors!!! Frankie has his own place now; selling a top notch Italian pie, the equal of or better than the vast majority of pizza places in New England. The business is basically take out, with only 2 high top tables to wait or possibly dine in. Either way, Frankie has a seriously authentic pizza you won't want to miss, stop by; give'm a try, I'm sure you'll agree!

Margarita Pizza. Next time I will order extra cheese. It was still delicious though.

I am saddened by the direction this restaurant has gone. My family has been going here for as long…read moreas I can remember. We made it part of our family birthday traditions for at least 20 years if not more. I visited my parents this weekend and wanted to reminisce with pizza shoppe pizza. Used to be the best dough I've ever eaten. Got a medium pizza and a salad. Cost us $37. The medium would be considered a small at any other pizza shop. The dough's lost its luster and was actually soggy. We decided as a family, much to our dismay to move on. We are going elsewhere from now on. The quality has declined.

Recently, we checked out Pizza Shoppe because we were in the area. For years, we had always gone to…read morethe same restaurant for our pizza. The food was very good. I enjoyed our pizza with a sweet crust. The sauce was very pleasant. There were many choices of pies to request which I loved and definitely be back to try the others. The portion sizes seemed above average and plentiful, with enough for leftovers. The price of the food was just right. I was happy that the service was not overpriced like some other restaurants in the area. The service was exceptional. The server really took the time to listen to our order, repeat it back, made sure she go it right. The manager even came over to us to check in our service. Restaurants don't always do this because of the hustle and bustle of their business. I like the atmosphere and ambiance of the store. You felt like you were coming home to sit and enjoy a meal that was cooked to order for you like Mom used to make. The pictures on the wall are beautiful hand painted murals. Everything was clean on the restaurant floor. The bathrooms were clean as well. I always cringe when you see a beautiful dining area but then go to use the bathroom and it is a hot mess. This would make you wonder what it would look in other areas of the shop that were not visible but often used as a food prep area. This was not the case here, the bathroom was spotless. Let's talk about parking and location. The location is easy to get to and there is ample parking for this venue. I particularly like how well lit the parking lot is. This day and age, you cannot be too careful. As we were leaving the restaurant, and new to the area, I appreciated how safe I felt leaving the restaurant and going to my car. I appreciated how the manager coming over and talking to us and telling us a little bit about the history of the restaurant and how it has always been a family shop. While sitting there, I noticed the many regulars that entered the building to dine and pick up their food. Again, warm and inviting, which seriously makes me rethink about my current pizza restaurant. I would definitely come again if in the area. My family enjoyed it too. If I could give ten stars, I would.

Their food isn't the best in some cases however it seemed busy when we got here and it started getting quiet once we started eating. The waiter seems nice when giving us orders. The chefs should probably do better on cooking. The wings were not the best as it had kore bone than breast and Fried OREOs had slimy dough that almost looked raw. Their pizza however was really good as well as an Eggplant Parm meal (well cooked). I want to come back here soon but since Liquori's Pizza not far from this restaurant is still my go-to for Mass. Pizza and it's one of my favorite pizzerias to ever eat out, I prefer that pizza over Nicky's. We'll see what happens next year. Nicky's however is somewhat of an improvement from over a decade ago when I last ate here and thought it was kinda unpleasant experience with customer service and their food. Overall, somewhat average place to eat. I hear a lot of people come there to eat before or after they go to Six Flags.
