Been waiting forever to try this place. Reviews and pics look fantastic. Found myself around the corner at 9pm. Google their hours...10pm. Sign at the register reads 10pm Friday Pulled up, lights on, people in the kitchen. Noone at the counter. Menu boards are on. A gentleman kept looking at me through the kitchen opening, so I just stood and waited. He said nothing, like he was just waiting for me to leave......so I did. Too bad. I had high hopes as I am a huge pizza snob. This is my first bad review as I believe everyone can have something go awry. I hope to find my way up on the North Shore again. If I do, I certainly will try the pizza...if they let me

    The boys loved it!

We have been going to Frankie Slice for about a year. It doesn't matter if we eat there or do take out, the pizza is always fresh, hot and delicious. The crust has a great crisp to it but still soft and chewable. My husband and I always get the sausage and it's sooo good! Today, I brought 4 boys (age 12-10) and they killed a large 20" cheese in 15 minutes. It's a great local place. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Most authentic New York style pizza in a long time! I'm Italian American from the Bronx and I thoroughly enjoyed my slice! I'll be back.

She was patient and kind and took the time to understand what we needed. We ordered cocktails... because tonight was the last night I could before I re-start chemotherapy. Both my father and I ordered the Sangria ($14.00) ... And it was *amazing*. Honestly, it was the best I've had since my best friend and I drank together at a Flamenco restaurant in Montreal in June of 1985. My mother ordered the house dry red wine ($10.00) I didn't taste it and she didn't mention whether it was good or not. We ordered one Ceasar Salad ($10.00) and it was both really generous and incredibly delicious (see photo). My parents and I split it three was and it was plenty. The tang of the dressing really worked against the sardines and garlic. I'd definitely go back for more of that!! For dinner, my mother ordered the beef special.... Beef Braciole ($33.00) in an epic sauce. She loved it... but definitely could not finish it!! She brought the leftovers home (as did my father and I). My father ordered the Veal parmigiana ($29.99) and it was a massive, almost overwhelming plate of food (photo attached). He loved it (as did I when I tasted it!). For me?? I ordered the Pollo Vodka Bella Napoli ($26.99 - photo attached). It was a huge, almost overwhelming bowl of food and it was amazing. Deep, rich flavor with mushrooms, bacon, shallots, and tender chunks of chicken. The noodles we all ordered were the home made & hand-made fusilli that are produced in-house. I think that if a chef is going to spend the time necessary to make noodles, you should savor them... and that's what we did. Suzanne offered us a chance at dessert, but we declined, since we knew that if any of us ate a bite more, we would hit critical mass and destroy at least the surrounding block. The only weak point we encountered was the bread. It was weak, drab, and lacking in taste and character. They could do much better on that. Our bill, with taxes, was $162.62. With tip, it came to $195. Totally worth it!

"Marco Polo traveled by camel and pony He brought to Italy,…read morethe first macaroni" (Peter, Paul and Mary) We were winding up a whirlwind weekend doing touristy stuff in Kennebunk, Wells, Ogunquit, and Marblehead, and really weren't in the mood to travel far for dinner from our hotel at the SpringHill Suites Peabody. Lucky for us, it was just a 397-foot walk to an attached strip mall and Marco's Restaurant. And I'm gonna say it right here and right now... Marco's was one of the very best Italian restaurants we have EVER visited. It looks old school with its dark wood tables and chairs and wine bottle decorations. Oh, and the house music was Italian opera! When our complimentary breadbasket came out, we knew we were in for something far from ordinary, because along with the great bread were a trio of dipping oils. One came with a splash of Balsamic, one came with a mound of pesto, and one came with a trio of hot pepper flakes. Edoardo was our server and he couldn't have been better. He was dapper -- a really personable continental gentleman. Our order was simple -two entrees. Pollo alla Parma (Chicken Parmigiana) for $30 and Fusilli ai Frutti di Mare ($35). The quality and quantity of both entrees exceeded our wildest dreams. My wife's Pollo alla Parma was "Pan fried, breaded chicken breast topped with homemade tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella, all over homemade fusilli". Her portion was so huge it almost covered her entire plate, and I kid you not.. she got four servings out of it. And that homemade fusilli was FANTASTIC. My seafood and pasta dish was "Mussels, baby clams, shrimp, bay scallops, calamari in a spicy cherry tomato sauce", and yes... it was also served over that amazing homemade fusilli. There was a lot of seafood, a lot of pasta, and a lot of that spicy tomato sauce. It was exquisite and yielded two big dinner portions. I can't praise Marco's enough. We loved everything about it.

I always disregarded them as they have "cafe and market" in their name. I assumed sandwich and bakery. We decided to pull in and discovered a full restaurant, patio, and bar. We decided to sit at the bar as it was last minute and there were empty seats. Joanna, our bar tender, instantly greeted us and got us some delicious cocktails quickly. My cosmo was one of the best I had. We asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. The caprese salad was a plump delicious heirloom tomato with delicious pesto, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The arancini was a cheesy risotto in a bolognese sauce that my husband couldn't stop saying "fantastic." Same with me. We ended up splitting the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection. Oh, and I forgot about the delicious warm bread and parmigian oil that was to die for. Service and food are 5 stars. We are going to come back again and again!! Loved it.
