We got takeout here Saturday night and it was my first time having their food. I can't wait to go in person! It was ready when I got there so about 20 minutes which isn't bad at all! I got the chicken, ziti, broccoli and the takeout containers are nice so the pasta doesn't get cooked by the stems. The sauce was yummy! I think the broccoli was a little too hard and the chicken a little dry. However the portion was huge and it still tasted good the next day reheated. My husband got the chicken parm and he thought it was amazing and it was a massive portion. Would recommend! I'm sure it's better in person as well.

I rate this place a 20 out of 10! Been here several times and tried different items on the menu and needless to say I am very pleased with the outcome. Service is warm and friendly. Food options are quite good but the best part of all the food is so amazing. Nice music to complement the ambiance and just a wonderful experience!

First time there it was really good. The owner rearranged our table of eight to make it more comfortable. Four of thepeople in my party got the special veal dish the rest got veal Marsala and a seafood dish it was really great. The service was very attentive and drinks were Awsome. They make very good martinis. Food came out hot and in time. I had such a good experience the owner gave me a Italian kiss on the cheak when I left. Very homey and comfortable environment.

    The special that evening.

Love, love, love this restaurant! The food is fantastic, the service from the staff & owner is superb and the ambiance with the white table clothes is an amazing touch. Would definitely recommend.

We went for lunch today omg the subs are huge I was only able to eat half and am looking forward to the other half for tonight's dinner. We ordered the eggplant rolitini as an appetizer for the table it was amazing delicious tons of sauce and you could tell freshly over stuffed. Even as fill as I was I finished my fries they were crispy but soft in the middle totally addictive. I've been for both dinner and private events and would recommend it for all three I'll definitely will be back on a Wed so I can try the steak bomb that everyone's raving about. #lunch #Peabody #Massachusetts #5outof5stars #willflyforfood #chickenparmsub #petrillossub #eggplant

Was looking through my Yelp reviews and saw that I gave Petrillo's in Peabody a great review and haven't been there in a while. A long while. I Had a great haddock dish and gave it 5 stars. We were seated at a table against the wall. Our waitress came over promptly and ask for our drink orders. We did not get any appetizers or salad because it was pretty late. The drinks came over. No bread was brought to the table so we figured the waitress forgot it. By the time I saw her to ask her for bread, the meals were in her hands. That has to be record in 5 minute time for delivery of our meals. We did ask for bread and she promptly brought it over. My husband got his usual Veal Parmesan and Ziti. He said the veal was barely warm and by the end of eating, was cold. The ziti was "severely" undercooked and I mean severely undercooked. The fish I got years before was no longer on the menu so I ordered Chicken Limone and was envisioning getting a chicken cutlet with a buttery lemon sauce. Instead, it was a bowl of chicken pieces, and that same undercooked ziti with mushrooms, capers and spinach in a watery lemon broth. What I got didn't even match the description on their website for Chicken Limon. And most importantly and most disappointingly....The veal cutlet was not freshly made and the chicken in the Chicken Limon was premade as well. That is why my husbands veal was cold and the texture of the chicken in my dish was that of premade chicken. I am pretty familiar with cooking as there is nothing I can't cook. I realize restaurants precook the pasta and then finish the cooking time when they get an order. But there is a vast difference when you try that with protein. It doesn't work. Not in a restaurant that boasts fine dining. This is a disappointment. With the many Italian restaurants around, you would think they would make fresh food to order. The up side...our server Nancy was awesome and very accommodating.

Petrillo's never seems disappoint! The food, the service the ambiance is just perfect. The food is not only delicious but plentiful. Drinks are amazing as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for small private gatherings, special occasions or just a night out for dinner.

on a friday evening, Petrillo's was packed, and for good reason. we waited 45 minutes to be seated upstairs and i was looking forward to this meal as it came recommended to me. Nancy was our server and she was phenomenal the entire time. when we come back, we will be asking for her! we started with the bread and Eggplant Rollatini which was better than expected, highly recommended. we only wished it came with a bit more sauce, which might have made it soggy (it wasn't) but it was cooked perfectly. i tried one of their drinks, i don't remember the name, (sunset something?) and substituted tequila for the vodka which was perfect. i ordered the shrimp campanola: jumbo shrimp, asparagus, roasted red peppers, garlic wine sauce over linguini and added artichoke hearts, with a side of extra mixed vegetables. my date ordered the pollo caprese, and everything was absolutely delicious. i can't believe i hadn't heard of Petrillo's before. we ended with the Lemon Mascarpone Cake which couldn't have been better, it was the perfect flavor, texture, everything. eggplant rollatini: 5/5 shrimp campanola: 5/5 mixed vegetables: 5/5 pollo caprese: 5/5 lemon mascarpone cake: 5/5 i appreciate that they did not rush us at the end, and i would highly recommend Petrillo's to anyone looking for amazing food + service, and will definitely return on a regular basis. ambiance: 5/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 Petrillo's: 5/5

Calvin our wonderful server was fantastic. Suggested food told us about each dish that was on special. Definite ambassador that they should be proud of! Our daughter was married in South Africa and I had grilled calamari almost every day and this is just as good as the prized memories of the dishes I had there. Obviously they are well-known as plenty of people were coming in getting food

"Marco Polo traveled by camel and pony He brought to Italy,…read morethe first macaroni" (Peter, Paul and Mary) We were winding up a whirlwind weekend doing touristy stuff in Kennebunk, Wells, Ogunquit, and Marblehead, and really weren't in the mood to travel far for dinner from our hotel at the SpringHill Suites Peabody. Lucky for us, it was just a 397-foot walk to an attached strip mall and Marco's Restaurant. And I'm gonna say it right here and right now... Marco's was one of the very best Italian restaurants we have EVER visited. It looks old school with its dark wood tables and chairs and wine bottle decorations. Oh, and the house music was Italian opera! When our complimentary breadbasket came out, we knew we were in for something far from ordinary, because along with the great bread were a trio of dipping oils. One came with a splash of Balsamic, one came with a mound of pesto, and one came with a trio of hot pepper flakes. Edoardo was our server and he couldn't have been better. He was dapper -- a really personable continental gentleman. Our order was simple -two entrees. Pollo alla Parma (Chicken Parmigiana) for $30 and Fusilli ai Frutti di Mare ($35). The quality and quantity of both entrees exceeded our wildest dreams. My wife's Pollo alla Parma was "Pan fried, breaded chicken breast topped with homemade tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella, all over homemade fusilli". Her portion was so huge it almost covered her entire plate, and I kid you not.. she got four servings out of it. And that homemade fusilli was FANTASTIC. My seafood and pasta dish was "Mussels, baby clams, shrimp, bay scallops, calamari in a spicy cherry tomato sauce", and yes... it was also served over that amazing homemade fusilli. There was a lot of seafood, a lot of pasta, and a lot of that spicy tomato sauce. It was exquisite and yielded two big dinner portions. I can't praise Marco's enough. We loved everything about it.
