Once we booked, we received a comprehensive moving form. This attention to detail set the tone of the efficiency and professionalism right out of the gate. These guys were great! I had a ton of stuff in my small studio and they were able to get the job done in the 2 hours. I had a lot of little/loose/unboxed items and they had these speedpacks (which are huge empty boxes) that fit everything! They were also super careful with the furniture which is amazing. Also to note, they really worked extremely well as a team of 2. Always communicating with each other to make sure the furniture or big boxes got to the destination safely and smoothly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We scheduled our move with them a month ago. Right off the bat, the communication was combative. Instead of just asking about parking, this is how the email was worded: "IS PARKING secure for my crew? And where? Parking must be secure for the crew. customers must have a parking spot available for us to park, or how is it possible for us to do the job without parking.?" We were also asked to provide an extensive amount of information about the move including a list of the furniture to be moved. I've moved 4 times in the past 9 years and I've never had a moving company need this much information from me. Here are just some examples: 3)FURNITURE INVENTORY Please list furniture inventory in a room by room format. Or At least list me all the furniture 2 men need to carry for garages and basement you can text me pictures also NEEDED FOR LOADING JOBS OPTIONAL for UNLOADING JOBS 5) (BOXES) How many boxes or approximately small, medium, and large, wardrobe and suitcases. Tell me how many of each category 10) WALKING DISTANCE how many foot steps? From door to truck We're scheduled to move on Friday morning. This morning, I got a text asking for all of the information I'd already provided. When I mentioned that I'd already sent it, the response was 'Email never received from xxx.xxx@gmail.com which is your email on file'. I resent it and then got a phone call to go over a few things, which devolved into me being labeled a 'problem customer' because I have unrealistic expectations about them being able to do what Windy City Helpers did for me last summer with no problem. I tried to handle the situation with grace when he told me that 'I could be someone else's problem' and asked if I knew how to cancel the job. I agreed to cancel the job and that should have been the end of the conversation. It wasn't. Frankie kept repeating that I'm the problem and that he has a 5 star rating on MovingHelp.com. (They have a 5-star review because people who have problems back out before the job is completed. Just read all the other 1-start ratings.) I eventually told him to have a blessed day and hung up because I wasn't interested in continuing to be yelled at. We already have new movers booked. Read the other reviews. The whole experience was very very positive. They give you a prep email in advance so you know how to prepare for move day. The guys showed up on time and were very polite, professional and careful. They worked very hard for 6 hours straight and we got the move done. It was all in all as painless as possible - though moving always is stressful. Great job by the WMY4L team. Just used Team Marcus and John from this company to move some items from a storage shed, then rearrange heavy pieces in the house from floor to floor including a treadmill with other gym equipment, and a fully loaded 3 1/2 foot safe up two stories. They got done in 1 1/2 hours so they used the rest of the time to put my bed together. They used excellent body mechanics and really had each other's backs and mine too. They took great care to not touch walls, unprotected items or floors and ceilings. They were very professional, a great help - and the owner, Frank, was very accommodating and communicated well. Had a very bad experience with these guys. Frank called me a day before the move to get my inventory and asked if I was personally going to help with the moving process. I told him that I wouldn't be much help since I had to drive 800 miles to Chicago from NYC but that I would do what I could. That should have raised some red flags but I chose to go with them anyway. Next morning he calls me and I warn him that I'm running a little bit behind schedule. He was very rude and told me that he has another move right after mine so he can only stay until the allotted time, and that I needed to be OK with it or he wasn't going to show up. I understand he has a business to run but to schedule a move immediately after another move is just poor planning on his part. Anyway I show up about 10 minutes late and personally help the guys unload the truck and move the stuff in so they can leave on time. Had some unexpected set backs with the building and freight elevator so the guys had to stay a few minutes later to get the job done. (I felt bad about making them stay late so I tipped the two guys an extra $30 each.) Frank gets really upset that he was going to be late for his next "big" move and was actually going to leave all my stuff on the floor and just leave. I told him he had to bring the stuff up to get the money because it was upstairs anyway and he blows up on me and tells me that it was my fault they didn't finish on time because I didn't help enough with the moving. He claimed that I was just "standing around by the truck" when in fact I was unloading things onto their dollies to speed up the process and even helped with some of the heavy lifting even though I was dead tired from driving 16 hours straight. Besides, did he really expect me to leave thousands of dollars of personal items unattended at the truck?? I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior. These movers were amazing and went above and beyond for me and my husband. We had a misunderstanding (my fault) that resulted in us having just 1 hour to use the elevator at our move in location instead of 2. Our movers did absolutely everything possible to make sure we could move in within that hour, even when it started pouring down rain right when we got there. Despite all of these setbacks, the guys grabbed our stuff and practically ran carrying things that should have required 2 people to carry in order to make it in time! They were absolutely dripping in sweat AND rain by the time we were through, but they made it in the hour! I'm so grateful to them for acting as if we were people they knew instead of random strangers and doing everything possible to help us out. I recently used We'll Move You 4 Less to move my belongings out of a storage unit in Lisle to an apartment in Clarendon Hills. I contacted Frank about a week before I wanted to move and after several exchanges we came to an agreement on the time and price. Frank answered all of my calls, text messages, and emails in a very timely fashion and explained everything to me clearly. On the day of the move Frank and Marcus showed up EARLY with the van and moving trailer and moved all of my belongings in a very short amount of time. They took great care of the items to make sure that no damage was caused and wrapped everything very carefully with moving blankets/pads before loading it. Frank even agreed to move some boxes for me, even though I did not tell him that I needed boxes moved when we initially spoke and came to an agreement on what items needed to be moved (I thought I would be able to move them myself). He did not complain at all when I requested the extra items and was more than happy to help. When we reached my apartment once again they moved everything up to my 2nd floor apartment in what seemed like 30 minutes or less, and getting things up the narrow stairwell and hallways was no easy task. I have moved several times over the past few years and I have never had as great of an experience as this one. All of the other times I moved I would constantly see the moving guys sitting around or I would have to ask them to be careful with my belongings because they were just throwing them all over the place. I got several quotes & I chose these guys based off other great reviews on Yelp & they did such a fantastic job! I was so happy with their pricing, efficiency, and professionalism. Superior from start to finish! You rent the truck & drive & they move all your stuff. I moved from one 1 bedroom condo to another and I have a lot of furniture - dining room table/chairs & buffet table, mattress/box spring, large couch & loveseat, another foldout couch, coffee & end tables, tv, large plants and lots of xlarge plastic bins and boxes. This stuff is way too heavy which is why I had to get movers. I moved all my paintings, breakable glass & kitchen items myself the day before and let these guys move everything else I had left. Frank gave specific instructions on what they needed from me (size of truck, blanket #, boxes closed/taped, bed frame disassembled and drawers emptied out) I did all the prep ahead and they showed up on time, brought their own dollies (hand trucks) and were a smooth running machine. They are strong, they are fast, they are careful. I kept an eye on it all - none of my boxes got smashed/dropped, none of the furniture was damaged and none of my walls/floors got scratched, dented or scuffed. Amazing! They're experienced & know how to move large furniture through tight hallways & doors without touching door frames or walls. They moved the entire time - no breaks and no funny business. I scheduled a move with this company more than a month in advance and was given a 12pm-2pm arrival window. About an hour before the window started, I called the company to confirm when they would be arriving. At that point I was told that they were still working on a job in a distant neighborhood, and would not be arriving until at least 3:30pm. I was pretty shocked that no one had contacted me to tell me that they would be late, and that no one apologized for the situation. Because I was on a tight timeline, I was forced to cancel the job and scramble to find movers who could help me on schedule. In addition, I thought that the email, text, and phone communications with this company were consistently unprofessional and/or rude. read more

Frank and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband passed away last month right before our lease ended and with everything going on, I was left to scramble everything together to get ready for our move. With only help from my middle aged parents with such a limited amount of time, our packing and boxing of stuff was extremely sloppy and everything was a mess. The guys that helped me move were awesome, non judgmental, and didn't seem to mind the piss poor job we did at packing everything. They were able to work with everything and somehow were able to neatly load everything on to the truck. The job took a lot longer than I thought and I dont blame them cause we had a lot of stuff and 2 trips to make (plus they were nice enough to disassemble and reassemble my king bed frame). However, had I went with any other company I inquired with, I would definitely have not been able to afford it. Was put in contact with WMY4L via Uhaul for my Ubox loading. Communication was excellent with Frank as soon as I booked the gig. We communicated via email, phone and text and he laid out the whole process for me and answered all my questions way in advance. I provided him with list of what I was loading and he was upfront on the feasibility of getting it all into the box. The loaders (Brian & Sal) arrived on time, moved fast and efficiently and were extremely polite, even as I helicoptered them the whole time in the blazing heat. It took them less than 2 hours, even with a rain delay. My past 4 moves have all been with expensive national moving companies that usually send contracted unscreened personnel that are rude, damage my belongings and my home or do nothing. I will definitely use them again. They are reasonably priced and in this case, you get more than what you pay for. read more

Frankie took the time to talk to me on the phone at length about my move and my belongings. On our move day John and Marcus called me to let me know they were on their way, showed up on time (to the minute), and loaded up my belongings quickly. They really knew what they were doing! My belongings were delivered intact, unloaded quickly, and I even ended up paying less than Frankie quoted me. I hope these guys are around for a while because I would use them again in a minute. These guys are great. I contacted Frank to help me move some large items from Romeoville to Plainfield, after reading the solid reviews. He was quick to pick up and the communication throughout the entire process was awesome. We scheduled a full-service move for a week later and he quoted me over the phone. He seemed very professional and the price was very reasonable. A day before the move he contacted me to confirm our appointment for the next day which eliminated the guessing game on whether or not they would show. The next morning came around and he and Marcus were right on time. They're both super nice guys and very polite and professional. They were lightening quick in loading all the furniture into the van. It literally only took them about 25 minutes to get everything loaded and maybe another 10 minutes to get it all strapped down and protected with blankets. I had two large couches, a large dining room table and chairs, a smaller fridge and another 7-8 pieces of medium sized items, so this was not a light load. I was very impressed with their speed. They also got everything out of the house without scratching any of the walls or the furniture itself. We then made the journey to the new place and they unloaded everything within 15 minutes. I checked everything and, again, there were no scratches on any item I had them move. Overall, these guys are great people and awesome at what they do.
