I had been a customer since 2011 never had an issue, for the past 6 weeks I've had nothing but bad experiences with delivery....1.5 hrs to wait for an order....but they topped the cake last Friday two hours later my delivery shows up, they dropped off the wrong order, when I asked the driver he had no idea where my order was...mind you is a 50 dollar order every single Friday...... when I call the restaurant they couldn't tell me where the order was, and expected me to wait another 1 or 2 to replace the order and not even hint of a credit or free food for their huge mistake, I spoke to the manager and he could careless....so I am not one to write bad reviews, but I felt compel to let others know....either they changed management or they plainly don't value their recurring customers.... im sure my weekly 50.00 order will be appreciated it somewhere else.... read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Service was horrendous. Took two hours to eat here. Penne vodka was tasteless. The tomato sauce on the baked ravioli was literally just a can of tomato sauce opened up and dumped on top. Eggplant parm sandwich was skimpy and came without any cheese melted on top. Really?! We order from them every week. I would rate them a 4 or 5, but something has changed recently. They started being late with deliveries and removed items that we like from GrubHub and their online ordering platform, even though they are still on the menu if you call. We informed them that the side sausage had been removed multiple times and they said they'd add it back, but have failed. One time they said to order something else and put in the note that we really wanted the side sausage, but instead, they just charged us for both things. The food is good, but they are frustrating to deal with. We have started ordering from them less and are exploring other Italian restaurants. It's too bad that they can't be consistent anymore because we enjoy everything that we order, especially the side sausage marinara, the paninis, and that antipasto salad. Everything is delicious. I want to give them a higher rating, but it's 10:15 and the food was supposed to get here by 9:55. They didn't call to tell me they were going to be late and when I called them, they said that the driver was just about to leave. Not sure if they changed owners, management, or something. Ok now I know why Franks pizza has only 3 stars! I never believed it because we order from there at least 3-4 times a month paying anywhere from $50-$60 per order and the food is generally good....Today I ordered a Stromboli for the first time and what I got was literally 2 pieces of meat with a 6" piece of dough folded over the top leaving both sides open. I called to say this must be a mistake. The guy said "no this is our stromboli". I asked him "are you seriously charging me $8.00 for this?" He said "yes"! they should be ashamed! He didn't even try to rectify the situation...Bad, bad, bad customer service! Well with this said..that will be the last time we order from there! I'm not one to bitch and complain about take out food, but this seriously pissed me off! We ordered take out from Frank's while staying up in the area. I had the kale and beet salad which was really tasty. The goat cheese, kale, beet and walnut combo was perfect. I even liked the dressing and I'm very picky about dressings. The only thing that could have made it better was if the kale was chopped a little smaller. But super! I'm visiting from Santa Cruz California. Twenty six years ago. I used to live in New Jersey, in the early nineties for a short time. I ate a lot of pie then and when I went home, pie did not exist. Just shit pizza. I'm here now visiting and bought some pie at Frank's. Customer service was excellent and of course, the slices's of pie I ordered brought me back to what I remember what the taste and quality of pie existed when I lived here. Frank's and Panatieri's are the closest pizza shops around us and we always choose Frank's. The pizza is pretty decent - we usually order either their white or pepperoni/onions/peppers. It's not incredible by any means but for a quick, easy meal when you don't feel like cooking, it is good and the prices are reasonable. read more

There are a few things that have been no go in our time of ordering (calamari, bruschetta, mozzarella sticks, meatballs) but my safe go to is the chicken Florentine but with spinach. The pasta in my opinion tastes over cooked and falls apart so i just sub in and use heir bread to dunk. My husband likes the cavatelli with broccoli and chicken. Other than our few tries and fails I have to agree with customer service. I'm not one to complain too badly over delays but I have a toddler now. Hungry toddler is not pleasant. After placing my order on Yelp I always call to confirm the time it will be ready. They routinely go over by at least 20-30 minutes. Again just me? Not a problem. Hungry toddler? Not acceptable. The excuse is always short staffed or kitchen is backed up but that was probably true when you gave me the estimated time. Why not just estimate correctly? I have given them at least 6 tries always thinking it will be better next time but at this point I think I'll just throw in the towel. read more

First time here for a sit down dinner. Made to order veal parm. with angel hair pasta (my choice), nice small starter salad, no frills, but crisp and fresh. Best part of the meal: freshly made stuffed zepoles with cannoli cream- to die for! Frank's Pizza is a very good, but not exceptional pizzeria. They offer your standard pizzeria items including calzones, subs, etc. Overall the pizza is pretty good with the tortellini pizza standing out. They use a rich and buttery alfredo sauce instead of the red sauce and it is a decadent delight. Their appetizer for two which has an ample selection of chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini and mushrooms and onion rings is a great value. The items themselves aren't much above the standard frozen food varieties, but it's the huge portion size that makes it a great value and a nice starter. I've only had the pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. Pepperoni gave the pizza a strong acidic flavor. But plain mushroom was very good. I'm a big fan of classic ny pizza and the pizza at franks is not quite as thin as I'm used to. The pizza dough is a tiny bit fluffy. The flavor is good and has a satisfying crust. One of the better pizza joints in town. Lots of choices. We love their buffalo chicken pizza and chicken parmigiana. Staff both in restaurant and delivery are very friendly. Service can be slow for both pick-up and delivery. Add at least 5 min extra for pick-up and an additional 30 minutes for delivery. We were told 45 minutes for delivery and it has now been 75 and we are still waiting... Wish I could say it was the first time but we have finally learned our lesson. I will continue to get pick-up from them because the food is good but never again for delivery. Not worth the frustration! UPDATE- After waiting an hour and a half for our "45 min" delivery, the pizza was cold and the caesar salad was literally warm. So warm that I was concerned to eat in fear I would get sick. so... Saturday night (5/9/15), We decide to order food and this establishment was mentioned. We ordered fried calamari, a couple of sandwiches and a pepperoni roll. An hour later the food shows up (after we called twice to find out what was taking so long) and after paying our $32.00 bill, we see that the food is cold. I don't know about you but fried calamari is NOT good cold and soggy. My roommate calls back and explains the situation and the guy on the phone says we get credited our meal and that the next one is basically free. We had no problem with that... Now it's the next day (Sunday afternoon to be precise) and we decide to give the place another shot so we call and order a Large Frank's Special pizza and a Brooklyn sandwich which should have been around $27.00. The guy on the phone says he will only credit us with half of what we spent last night because (and I quote... If the boss finds out I gave you the whole thing, I'll get fired) so I figure the two things we ordered would come to around $11.00 and that's not bad, so I agree and place the order. Well, this time the food did arrive on time and was better because it wasn't cold but the bill came to $17.00. I did not expect to pay half of what the bill was last night, I expected to get half of that bill off so I asked the driver why it was so much and he said I would have talk to someone at the shop so I paid the bill and we ate.
