Came on a Friday afternoon for lunch, and it was not very busy. Saw some people come for takeout, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. This is kind of a hole in the wall, but a very nice find! The workers are extremely friendly, and willing to help you out with whatever you need. Regular pizza (7/10) - thin crust pizza, and the crust is absolutely fantastic. Super crispy, holds its shape while you hold it up without sagging. Maintains its structure - one of the few crusts that I finished and actually enjoyed - they use light marinara sauce, so each bite did not feel too heavy at all. - You are able to actually eat this for lunch, and go back to work without falling asleep Someone else got the Calzone, which looked delicious. While I have never eaten inside, I have ordered take out from Franks quite a few times. I have both called and ordered online and every time the service is great and the food never misses. I never last long enough to take a photo but the chicken piccata and eggplant rollatini appetizer are my go to, every time. I ordered them once again tonight and I think it was the best it's ever been. They knew I needed the delicious pick me up tonight and made it with extra love. The sauce on the eggplant rollatini is to die for.... Well the whole thing is actually but I can't get enough of that sauce! I find myself dipping my spaghetti in too. & the chicken piccata has the perfect lemon to caper ratio. I find the portions pretty decently sized too. I always have enough for both dinner and lunch the next day! Love love love this place, and couldn't recommend it more! My wife and I ate here for the first time today and thought the food was amazing. The inside of the place is well designed and comfortable with a soda fountain right near the tables with the ordering counter right in the middle of the back. We ordered mozzarella sticks, bruschetta and pepperoni pizza. All three were excellent. The mozzarella sticks had great tasting cheese and was supported by what appears to be house made marinera sauce. It had a really bright flavor and is not just pizza sauce. The bruschetta was some of the best I've had and is packed full of flavor. No tomato and drizzle here, see the pic. Lastly, the pizza. This place had a ton of options but my wife and I have always been found of basic pepperoni. They delivered large hot pie with thinner crust more NY style, supported with killer sauce, cheese and pepperoni. It was full flavored and came the way we expect pizza: hot, thin and a bit greasy. We ordered pepperoni pizza with pineapple, capresse, garlic rolls and linguini with classic in white sauce. Capresse I ate it all, so good, authentic. Of course the family is Italian. Garic roll bread, perfect blend. My pasta linguini, just perfectly cooked. All in all,it's not commercialized, cooked with love and passion. So, yes we recommend this place. I reallyy enjoyed the Baked Ziti (almost as much as olive garden's ziti LOL) the sauce tastes homemade and well seasoned! the White Pizza was cooked to perfection. Not burnt, not soggy. The crust is delicious which is important on a pizza!!! The food here is so flavorful! A pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem in a Spring Valley neighborhood.
