I heard about this Deli from the Paul Castronovo (Big 105.9). So I took a ride from West Kendall to see the hype. 1st min I stepped inside I was greeted by Frankie ( Owner& his beautiful wife) I felt like I knew them already. The service was top notch,the ambiance was cozy with lots of great old school memorabilia. There were regulars there having their specials & it had a cheers kinda vibe.Now the subs are on point! It was definitely worth the drive. I had the Philly cheese steak with a Cuban twist. It was smacking good. The tuna the best I ever tasted,it made my hair stand up. Looking forward to goin back & trying some of the others. I give them 10 out of 10 out of 10. Being from NY I tell ya I felt like I was back home at my favorite Deli stop. Frankie"s Deli is Fire. We stopped here after being on a cruise on our way to Tampa. I was greeted by Joe at the front as soon as we stepped in. I was with my son, daughter, and wife and he immediately assisted us with the menu. The food was by far the best sub I've ever had and I came from New York. The service was impeccable, good food and he entertained my kids being friendly and understandable since my kids were hangry. I would highly recommend and I will be coming back every time I visit Miami! read more

I went to Franky's for the first time two weeks ago. Then I went again and again and again. The corn beef and pastrami sandwich is fantastic, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is fantastic, the Italian is fantastic, and the tuna sandwich is delicious. The prices are fair and not inflated like the majority of Miami. Great chip selection to choose from. Great condiment selection to choose for the sandwiches. I wish I discovered this place years ago... I've seen them online for a while now, but finally moved closer to Hialeah. I'll be back... again and again. read more

When I walked in I immediately knew I would love this place!! The owners were greeting all their regulars like family and even recognized second time customers!! I had ordered online and they told me to call next time so that I could save some money...I mean plus plus plus!!! They offered a rewards card and when I told them I'm from out of town they took the time to ask from where and just to become more engaged with me!! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and an Italian!! Sandwiches are well made and very tasty! Today I tried two half sandwiches. First was a #1 hot with ham, capicola, salami, provolone (highly recommended by the extremely personable gentlemen who took my order). Second was a #10 cold with ham, turkey, provolone. Everyone knows the first rule to a good sandwich is all about the bread. I'm from Jersey City, NJ and my #1 rule for subs, especially in that County is the best sandwiches usually are in the Local restaurants which are especially plentiful in nearby, Hoboken NJ. So one day I was in miami and craving for an Italian sub and remembered a news piece i saw in t.v. on a place called Franky's. I ordered a #4 cappacola, salami with American cheese, mayo/lettuce/tomatoes/pickles/sweet peppers/black olives and olive oil. I dont add vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper because it takes away the flavor of the cold cuts and definitely had it cold not hot. the hero was a home run. The bread is the foundation of a great sub and it was perfect. I felt like I was home eating an authentic Italian sub. Definitely being added to my favorite food spots. There is absolutely no excuse to be going to any chain sub shops with Franky's around. The staff was great and the restaurants appearance gave good vibes. I have been coming to Frankie's for years, this place is probably one of Hialeah locals favorites, if your knwo about it. The staff is alway welcoming. The place is small and what you would expect from a favorite local spot. As Far as the subs, I typically get the Philly. This isn't your ordinary Philly, it is on a Cuban bread type bread, toasted and flatted. The steak is soft but has a slight tangy flavor to it. So it is a bit different but very good. My husband and I were running errands in the area and stopped in for lunch and are so glad we did! Their high ratings are the real deal and very well-deserved! Starting with their hospitality, we were immediatedly greeted with a welcome so genuine that I forgot I was in Miami! We were explained the menu and given some great suggestions. After ordering, we were promptly served our sandwiches. Hubs got the pan con bistec and I had a tuna melt. Both were excellent! As we ate, anytime an employee passed our table, we were acknowledged and asked how everything was. Everyone worked together as a team and took pride in their job. I wish more places and people took this approach to their business! We settled up the bill and were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices are! I was given top items off the menu asked my name and taken care of properly in a quick service setting.
