Fantastic! My boyfriend and I had a ski house in winter park this year. We wanted to check out all the local bars. This distillery has great vibes and service despite being busy. They don't take reservations but we were able to get a table quickly on a busy Saturday night. Big groups seem welcomed with there seating and ambiance. We loved this place! We met one of the owners who explains the flights and he was wonderful! He took plenty of time to explain all the types of spirits and distilling processes and made great recommendations. My husband got the double barrel bourbon flight and LOVED it so much he took a bottle of the double barrel bourbon home with us. I had the garden glow but with the glow Vodka because gin and I don't mix. It was delicious and highly recommend. Definitely check out if you're in town :) Clean and great service. We stopped here after a great day at the Fraser Tubing Hill and were so glad we did. Great menu, something for everyone. The grits/chicken were great, made from scratch. I remember my family and I watching and waiting for the distillery to be built and now that it's been open about a year I can safely say it was well worth the wait. The drinks are great. The daily slushie is a good bargain and sometimes introduces me to something I wouldn't otherwise try. I'm a big fan of gin and whiskey and both are delicious. The food has not yet disappointed either. I once came in for dinner three nights in a row and enjoyed every thing I tried. I recommend the incredible (non-meat) burger if you haven't tried yet. The entire business from front of house, bar, and even distilling is a family endeavor and it shines through. Our little toddler has always been welcomed and taken good care of. We are always greeted warmly and sincerely and look forward to coming back. This place is a town gem and so sometimes it's understandably busy, packed even (standing room only in the front lounge one time!) but you'll find all kinds of folks from artists, to the Mayor to road trippers passing through here. read more

Hands down the best food in Winter park to make up for its starving food scene. Got pastrami sandwich with fries and side salad. Their signature gin and tonic was amazing as well. The service was really good and the ambiance is great. I'm a bit confused by the other reviews here though and thinking we must have come at an off night. I'm not super picky with food, especially in mountain towns, but my food was actually hilarious. I got chicken strips, and everyone at my table laughed when they saw the plate. HUGE mound of french fries and 3 one-bite pieces of burnt chicken. I'm not exaggerating either - each piece was probably 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. The fries were good though. I'd rate this lower but we actually had a pretty good time making fun of the food! I wouldn't go back though. read more

I visited twice because my first service wasn't quite up to expectations, but the drinks and food were quite amazing! Our second visit we sat at the bar to learn a little more about the owners. Our bartenders were fantastic, one was an owner and the maker of their delicious liqueurs. We had the limoncello in our Manhattan cocktails and those were really delicious! We split the impossible burger both visits. It is a delicious vegan burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles---very meat-like, but not meat! It's served with an enormous portion of steak fries style french fries. The service at the bar was great and we enjoyed talking with both of the ladies tending bar. Fraser Valley Distilling plans to be at some of the distillery events around Colorado including one at the Denver Convention Center coming up. This family is working hard to make a go of this business , and it really shows! They are proud of their products and have some bottles for sale; they had a gift basket on display. The seating consists of fireplace chairs, tables and bar seating. There is minimal but elegant decor and a large screen TV showing mountain sports. We will for sure be back! read more

Came here while on vacation with my boyfriend and we LOVED it . Everything from the service to the drink and food were phenomenal. The old fashion was smooth and the to go bottle was more than enough for two people. Love this place! Started with the whiskey battered cheese curds which were to die for. We had frozen whiskey drinks which were wonderful as well as the gyro, huge salad and chicken strips. We were really excited try this place. The drinks were meh. The service was terrible. The server was rude and ignored us. Tables near us that were seated way after us were served their apps and mains while we got nothing. No one checked on us. When we approached a staff member to see what was going on she became upset and frazzled. We are kind, empathetic people and we're very patient. The food came and it was all so salty. I got the brisket and it was tough and chewy. This is my first time leaving a one star review. We were floored by the service. We would not recommend this place. read more

First time here for dinner tonight. It's on our favorite list now. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The cocktails were amazing. I had the grapefruit old fashion and then another! Everyone enjoyed their cocktail choices. Then came the food - no complaints from any of us. It is impossible to not believe that the "impossible burger" was not meat. I'm not vegan but it was delicious. Opted for carrot ginger soup instead of fries but both were exceptional. Homemade fries were great. Five star experience with Napa like tasting of exquisite spirits all distilled on site. We found a perfect patio table in the Rocky Mountain sun. No need for heater but there were plenty around if needed. You can order a flight or individual cocktails. We elected a flight of aged gin and aged whiskey. Thank you to the owner who shared so much wonderful background on each flavor or aging!. Like a good parent it's hard to choose a favorite . Food is delicious... all homemade... cheese curds stood out made with a original whiskey tempura light fried Wisconsin curds. Served with a variety of homemade dipping sauces. We went home with a couple bottles of the fabulous gin ( lavender and barrel aged were the two winners on my flight but really there were no losers) . And a great souvenir tasting glass and bag. We had a great visit today. Despite the crazy wind, we sat outside on the extended patio. Barry (the owner) was delivering drinks and making recommendations. He is (obviously) a wealth of knowledge about spirits and after we ordered flights brought us some samples of two other things we might like. He provided a ton of history related to whiskey that was greatly appreciated. We ordered mixed drinks (southern old fashion and regular old fashion) and took a "to-go" bottle of southern old fashions. I can't wait to come back and highly recommend. It's finally open! Fraser has a new hot spot in town, The Fraser Valley Distilling. I'm more a wine girl but Jenna just made a Gin cocktail for me that I loved! She is an artist when it comes to making creative cocktails to suit your palate​. ​She has a science-based​ background which makes her an excellent mixologist. The Tom Collins slushie was a refreshing citrus icy delight. They even make a Whiskey Coffee slushie too. The Fraser Valley Distillery is a family business and Barry Young creates Gin, Vodka, and Whiskey. When you visit be sure to take a tour and learn how everything is made. We even purchased a bottle of Gin to enjoy at home now I will just need Jenna's recipe​ if she will share it. They have a small menu right now. Our group tried the Buttermilk pancakes with a homemade blueberry jam. They were cooked perfectly and were nice and light. The Pastrami sandwich won me over with the mustard and sauerkraut on locally made Rye bread. We will definitely be back for this again. I ordered the Grilled Cheese with Apple, Spinach, and Bacon and it was good but the flavors of the Pastrami Sandwich was our favorite dish. If you are a french fry fan like me you will love these never been frozen thick french fries. They come with the Grilled Cheese and Pastrami dish or you can order a side of fries with any dish or just as an appetizer. I would come here seriously for just the fries and the 3 dipping sauces of ketchup, a spicy one that has some heat to it, and a garlic mayo. Friends at our table liked the Chicken and Biscuit but I didn't get a chance to try it. Currently, the menu is rather small but everything on it is delicious. They are off to a good start with the food items. They have a barrel​ room that can be used for private groups too. I am hoping they will have events and live music in the future.
