Was given an estimate for the work that was done before starting it and was promised it wouldn't exceed the price for repair. The promise was undelivered and was overcharged. 3 weeks later I called another company due to the unsatisfactory of the job. Wasn't sure what to expect when my neighbor suggested I give him a call to help with a broken garage door opener. I have to say that I was very impressed after meeting him for the first time. He took a look at the one I had and said that I would need to get a new one. Instead of trying to upsell me and convince me to purchase one from him, he suggested I go to Home Depot and get one for myself and he would install it for me, he even gave me recommendations on which ones to avoid and which ones were good. He said to let him know when I bought and it he would come out later the same day. Within an hour of texting him that I purchased it, he was back at my house ready to install it. He said it would take about 45 min to install, but he had it done in about 30 min. He even installed the keypad on the outside of the garage. After he was done, he offered to help me set-up my car to work with the garage door opener. I never could figure out how to set-it up before and he did it in minutes. I would highly recommend him for any garage door repair. Definitely an A+++ in my book. read more

Rarely leave reviews on anything but Fratex was great. Garage door won't open when I got home at 11pm so I looked up garage repair services on yelp and contacted Fratex immediately. Got a text back from Ismael within 10 minutes and scheduled an appointment first thing the next morning. Got here on time and looked at the problem. Told me the cost and the solution and the new parts that are needed. Got the new parts that afternoon and then got my garage door fixed the next morning. You've found the only garage door contractor you'll ever need! Ismael's doors are high quality and his price competitive, plus he is one super nice guy you'll be happy to invite to your home. Really, I couldn't have hoped for better product or service than I received, thus the 5 stars. I was replacing beat up Home Depot Clopay doors. Ismael examined the existing rails and springs and recommended they be reused, which provided a substantial cost savings. His replacement doors are beautiful, much more solid and quiet than the old doors. Cost was about half of what Home Depot quoted for equivalent doors! I needed 2 garage door openers installed. I called different garage door businesses and Fratex was the most responsive company a talked to. The quote they gave me was the best so I decided to go with them. Ismael and another young guy came the next day and did the install in about an hour. They were very knowledgeable and explained to me everything about how to operate the doors. They installed the brackets, the openers and the key pads. They also helped me program the keypads. In the end I noticed that the switches to open the garage doors that are on the wall were not at the same height so I asked them to fix it. I'm used to dealing with very moody contractors so I was expecting a complaint, but Ismael didn't even seem bothered. I recommend them! read more
