Shoutout to Charlie, Brent, and team! These folks are amazing people. Not only did I get a maintenance appointment scheduled for the very next day, I also was able to drop off my truck the day before. I ordered 4 new tires that had to be ordered and delivered the following day. But wait there's more, I also had to go Philadelphia for a family members surgery and could not be back until the following week... they said no problem! They kept it on the lot for me. Brent even called me and asked if I wanted to save @$65 on my Bridgestone tires by opting out on the "Bridgestone" lettering not being white. I didn't even know that was a thing!! Then he explained that the best thing to do in addition was an alignment once the new tires were installed. Our Red Dodge Ram 1500 Lone Star is already blacked out so these tires went perfectly. We just ordered the same tires to replace our old ones with the white lettering. Genius and we saved money! Thanks to Brent! And a little secret, I had to have the team get out a space saver hanger out of my bumper!! It's the king that has two hanging hooks on both ends so that when it hangs down, it space saves. Well, I got one caught up in my tail gate after hauling stuff to my storage unit and because of the double hook detail it was stuck. So it wasn't able to pull up it up from the tailgate hinge, so I pushed it down thinking it would fall through! Wrong! Since I automatically panicked knowing it could possibly make a rattling noise if left in the tailgate which would drive us crazy... I was also thinking it could affect wiring or safety issues. Though I asked the team to try and remove it, I asked for them to keep on the DL and I would confess to my husband after the removal. Jesus teased me by pretending he was going to announce the task on the overhead speaker so the entire crew could hear it in the service bay and sales floor. I told him he was funny and that I was going to keep an eye on him from then on. The team did a great job with everything! And the carefully placed the rescued hanger on display on the passenger seat for me to appreciate. It literally was on my service ticket. The surgery also went smoothly! God is good! Now as my family member recovers, so will my truck be able to from the hanger removal. Thank You Phil. My Jeep was leaking fuel. The fuel gauge was steady dropping like it was being pumped out. I had driven from Denton with almost a full tank of fuel to Easton and was heading back. The fuel gauge was now at half a tank and the low tire pressure light had come on. I stopped in Bethlehem to put air in the tire and noticed the fuel gauge was now reading half of half of the tank. I immediately drove back to Easton, praying the whole time i would make it before it ran out of fuel and not catch on fire. By the time I got to Easton, it was less than a quarter of the tank and still dropping fast. At the dealership, they found and repaired the hidden leak that had caused the biggest issue for months and months. The fuel tank supply line had to be replaced. Thank you for saving me and my Jeep. I walked into Fred Frederick Laurel Jeep dealership today at or around 10am. I walked up to the manager's desk; we made eye contact and turned his head. I figured he was having a bad morning, so I left and returned about 11am. I sat in a chair that is positioned directly beside the manger's desk. While sitting in that chair, 1 auto salesman, 1 office secretary (a lady), the manger as well as the finance manager and I made eye contact at various times during my 40-minute wait and NO ONE asked me if I needed help. Everyone that made eye contact immediately turned their heads or got on their cell phones. The purpose of my visit to Fred Frederick today was to start the buying process of 3 vehicles, however, I was met with rudeness and silent glares. Fraud! I was told the price to take out the third-row seat would be $175 and if there were parts that were needed, they would like me know the cost for parts or adjustments. This morning, Brent Ivie called me to explain that it would cost $350 to take the seat out and to examine it. I explained that it was not what we discussed early 3 weeks ago when I had the van there and we looked at the issue with the seat not folding. Did the price to take the seat out double in 3 weeks? Also, when I was on the phone with Mr. Ivie he hung up on me and refused to give me his last name. That lets me know that he knew he was being dishonest. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! read more

Ongoing issues with chrysler jeep over delaminating wheels, I was told to have a dealership look at it. Fred Frederick is the closest, so off I went. While there, I decided to have them inspect for health. 13year old summit. They had the expected answer regarding the wheels, replace, because Chrysler jeep is not owning up to what I consider a manufacture defect. Surprisingly, however, the dealership saw that I have the max life care package and used it to solve the issues I pointed out. Most dealerships have to be told or cannot even agree I have that life coverage, so that was encouraging. As a military family moving often having seen dealerships in 5 states, this is the best service I have seen. Brent was upfront with what they saw as the problem to include how much and how long they need the vehicle. The estimates and timing, etc., did not change from estimate to payment. We purchased a used 2018 Toyota Tacoma from the sales manager Allen. He ensured me the car was in excellent working order and showed me an internal dealership inspection report showing several items were repaired and that the truck passed inspection. I brought the car home and to my local Toyota service center for a used car review and inspection which cost me $100 which was money well spent. They found a leak in the steering system and recommended replacement which will cost $1695.00. I called and asked Allen for assistance and a fair and reasonable remedy but the dealership did not want to help me. They asked me to return the car to them. Please do not give them your business. They may even sell you the same truck that needs repairs. read more

Really sad. I've bought 8 cars between myself and my family over the past 10 years from Fred Frederick. I came in, had all my numbers, credit score banging. Spoke with a salesperson. Test drove the vehicle. They wouldn't budge. Would not even try to offer options. Like they did not want my business. I was waiting for even a counter offer....nothing....an awkward silence and I was like ok....guess that's my queue to leave......THATS OK!! A dealership down the road did want my business!!! I have only bought one car from this dealership so far, but I will be back. That car was a gem, and sold at a good price, below blue book. There was no haggling required on my part, and the salesman was polite with no high pressure. I can't speak to the service department, which seems to get a lot of bad reviews, but the sales department is great, and I will continue to do business with them. This was a few years ago, and I passed that car on to my son, who is still happy with it 100K miles later. It was a used Mitsubishi Montero for those of you who are curious, and nothing was more fun to drive in the snow than that car. I think as you read reviews for the various dealerships sales departments you have to take into account things like a person's credit, as in "poor" who got some news they didn't like. Service is another story though, so I would take those reviews seriously for this company. But to me, they are as good as it gets in this region for car dealership sales. Came here to drop off my baby (Dodge Avenger 2008 SXT) because the front passenger door would not close. They informed me that it would be a two week wait which is very understandable with school getting ready to start. After two weeks they were able to repair my door versus pep boys who had no idea what they were doing. Also, needed the service team to figure out why my car was shaking when driving and their initial recommendation to get the front tires balanced solved my problem. This place is right next to the MARC station, which was perfect for me for someone who commutes to DC everyday and lives in the Laurel, MD area. Feels good to know that there is great service close to home. The entire staff was great and I am looking forward to coming back the next time my baby is sick. read more

The car maintenance staff could be a little more friendly, but I don't mind the very serious, all business oriented attitude as long as they keep doing a good job on my car. I had a coolant leak repaired for over $700. When I went to change the oil today I found the drain plug nut rounded off. Now I had to spend another $30 on a new drain plug and a tool to remove the old one. What a sloppy unprofessional way to return a car to a customer. On my way home from visiting a friend, I pulled over to get gas with 58 miles left and a 42 mile drive ahead. No matter what I did, the nozzle would not go in; tried 3 different stations. Long story short, after trying to wing it and pray I'll make it home, traffic showed me I needed to find a dealer. Found! But, service was closed. Stuck! Head of service steps up and realizes the situation and has me pull the car into the bay. Fixed. But just in case, Chris drives with us (had a friend and my 11 month old with me) to the BP station to ensure we didn't run out of gas alone (on fumes). I had a good experience here when purchasing my Jeep. I felt like they were honest and gave me a square deal, and at no time did I get the sleazy car salesman vibe. The reason for the low rating is that their service department is a joke. They keep banker's hours, don't offer loaner cars, and aren't open on weekends. Long story short, with all of the stuff going wrong on my new Jeep, having to take time off of work to have the car diagnosed(again) is not an option. read more

We found a used Jeep we wanted at this dealership. They were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us. We found a few things we wanted cosmetically fixed on the vehicle and they did it with no problems. After struggling for a week to get financing through Suntrust (they required tax documents, etc), this dealership quickly got us a lower interest loan within minutes. Ever since my first lease with these folks, my experiences have been entirely positive. I actually stumbled in by accident, after having a bad experience with a nearby dealer. I came and spoke with Craig, the owner, and came out with a new Grand Cherokee shortly after. I've had all the service on the Jeep performed by them as well - they do oil changes cheaper than I can do them myself, and have never had to wait more than an hour. Craig and Earl are examples of old school efficiency and pride in their work. I just got my second Grand Cherokee from them, and the experience was even better than the first - they bent over backwards, and included things I didn't even ask for at no charge. I went in for a weird noise on my Dodge Ram and they took care of it all under warranty. The staff is also really great and friendly. Even when I was thinking about trading in my truck, all the sales associates were very low pressure and didn't try to push me into a sale. I will definitely come back here in the future. We purchased a Dodge Ram Dully from this dealership in 2016. This is our work truck for our transportation company. We have had to return for some minor repairs. We had to go in for a repair that cost us $4400. The cashier CINDY Frederick told us that they could not accept payment over the phone because we could dispute the charge and leave the dealership stuck with the bill?!?!? This is before we offered to pay or even asked how we would like to cover the payment for the repair. Racial profiling. I called and she told me the same thing. When I arrived, she kept changing her lie as though she did not know who she spoke with. Racist. I was so angry at how the establishment is so unprofessional and assumed we were going to STEAL from the dealership. I had to leave my job from DC to pay in-person. We have worked with Earl over the years, and have never been disappointed with his expertise and advice.
