The contractor contacted the owner of Freddy and Son on my behalf because of was unsuccessful in receiving reasonable quotes from other companies. I also had difficulty finding a contractor willing to work with my homeowner's insurance company. Freddy and Son sent Ryan Martinez, Project Manager to my residence and Ryan worked with me and my insurance company and sorted out the specifics to replace my roof. Ryan proceeded with excellence and professionalism and resolved all issues regarding the roof replacement in a timely manner. It's very important to mention there was no pressure to contract with Freddy and Son. Ryan exhibited care and concern for me to receive the best quality product at a reasonable price. He was very thorough as he explained the whole roofing process to me and the insurance representative on more than one occasion. Since this was such a big job I was overly concerned about the price and any additional costs associated with replacing the roof. Ryan and his team assured me that if any discrepancies should arise between Freddy and Son and the insurance company related to the costs it would be taken care of. As a result, I received full payment for the replacement of my roof as well as the supplemental payment needed for damaged items that were noted during the construction. Freddy and Son provided me the best quality roofing shingles, equipment, and material. I received GAF Asphalt shingles with the 30-year Golden warranty. The underlayment was upgraded, and all pieces of material associated with the roof was newly replaced. In addition, I only paid half price for the plywood that was needed to repair the roof. I'm very pleased with my new roof. The construction crew was timely, professional, respectful and very attentive to my roofing needs and requests. They even corrected extra stuff not in the contract. Our house is closing in on 25 years old and most of our neighbors have had their roofs replaced, many from storm damage. We've had our roof inspected a number of times to see if there was storm damage and the answer has always been no, but the roof is really close to needing to be replaced. We have continued to drag our feet. Then Freddy and Son came by and offered a free inspection. After the inspection, they felt it was possible to get it covered by insurance. Freddy and Son worked closely with our insurance company and convinced them there was storm damage and we got the roof replaced for the cost of our deductible. The process of getting the roof replacement work done was well explained, expectations were very well established, the workers were a wonderful team that did the roof in one day with excellent materials and great workmanship. The team replaced significantly more wood than I had expected and replaced it with high quality wood, not the cheapest thing available. Our yard was completely cleaned up afterwards and the new roof is significantly better than the original. We had numerous visits from Freddy and Son staff before, during and after the project to ensure the plan was clear, the work was progressing as expected, and the project was completed to our satisfaction. We had a great experience with Freddy and Son Roofing. Great people and great work. They are quick and professional, very knowledgeable and patient with those of us that know nothing about roofing. They worked with our insurance company to ensure the adjuster saw the damage to the roof and the insurance company paid right away. Freddy and Son Roofing is a big enough company that we did not have to put any money down up front so that was reassuring. We didn't pay until the job was complete. He even waived our deductible since I am retired military. I highly recommend them. Jonathan came out and performed a 45 minute roof inspection. He gave me as much information as possible so my wife and I could make informed decisions. An amazing and efficient experience with Brett at Freddy and Son Roofing. I recently had my entire roof replaced through Brett and his team, and they were always on time, if not earlier to appointments, very responsive and communicative about all aspects of the roof replacement, and only wanted the best for me throughout the entire experience - such as urging me to go through insurance in order to have my roof fully covered by my insurance so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket - or replacing the unsatisfactory plywood that was used by previous roofers instead of continuing with the unsatisfactory plywood. I had them replace my full roof several weeks ago. I have a ranch house so it's a big roof. The crew arrived at 6:30a.m. and were done by 4:30. Really worked hard the entire day. New roof looks beautiful. During the job, there was trash all over my front/back/side yards. When they left, you could not even tell anyone had been there. Nice! What really sold me was I was told they do Not use subcontractors. Everyone that works there is a full time employee of the company. IMO, this makes for a more consistent quality job. Honesty and ethics is on point. I didnt think we need major repairs yet, wanted an assessment after major storm. Had 1st contractor state we needed several shingles replaced and could not point them out. Yet, freddy and son simply stated our roof still had several years b4 needing replacement and even replaced one shingle at no cost since they were already on the roof.
