The crispy chicken is gross. The "chicken" is barely there, it is 90 percent breading and 10 percent chicken. The chicken was dry, salty, and a less than a quarter inch thick. The breading greasy. Service wasn't great. Freddy's is my favorite fast food burger spot, but this was my first time at this location. I placed an online to-go order through the app, walked in and gave the cashier my name and she said it wasn't ready yet, but gave me a beverage cup to go get my drink. I got my drink and then sat down near the mobile pickup area. After waiting 25-30 minutes I asked if my order was ready yet, and apparently it had just been sitting on the counter behind a display almost the entire time... Unfortunately the service is awful. The kitchen manager doesn't pay attention to how you customize your order. We ordered 4 meals and when we called to advise that they were incorrect and ask for the up charge to be reimbursed, she told us she wouldn't do that and that the burgers were right. we told her they weren't and we have the receipt, then they hung up on us. We love to support local business but this service is uncalled for and very damaging to their reputation. Hopefully leadership will get involved and hire more qualified staff that take responsibility their errors and lack a care. read more

I never write reviews or complain, but after last night -- and still battling what seems to be food poisoning -- I felt the need to speak up. I went through the drive-thru at 9:30 p.m., about 30 minutes before closing. By the time I got home (10 minutes later), the burger was completely cold. I was hungry and ate it anyway. I had been feeling totally fine all day until eating that burger. Less than an hour later, I had stomach pain, and shortly after, I was violently sick. That burger was the only real meal I had all day -- and no one else I was with ate one or got sick. In my opinion, based on the timing and what I ate that day, the burger was clearly the common denominator. Even now, the next morning, I'm still extremely achy and continue to be sick. I've had to rely on electrolyte drinks just to stay hydrated. I truly hope management takes food safety seriously, especially near closing time, because this has been a miserable experience. Freddies had become one of my families favorite places that we frequently go to. Tonight I was very disappointed as I had ordered a burger with no bread ( substituted as a lettuce wrap) because I physically can not eat the bread with out being in pain. I took a bite and noticed the food did not want to go down. I took a closer look and there was the bottom bun hidden in the wrap. If I would have proceeded to eat this I could end up in the hospital. I've absolutely had enough with this location. I've been a huge Freddy's fan for 15 years in 4 states. Moving to Keller and I was thrilled there was a Freddy's near by. This location is the worst. Often dirty with staff doing nothing but being bored. 1 in 3 orders (on average) have something wrong, but the last visit will be the last. On a night when 2 folks were the franchise owners were there, the Patty Melt was a single (they are always doubles, I didn't ask for anything special, and the receipt said double) and the turtle Sunday looked like a pup cup from DQ for the dogs - I had to ask for at least some caramel that I could at least see. The ice cream portion was absolutely kid size. And that's not what I ordered. I should have corrected them about the burger - but dang, I'm tired of them always missing the mark. Time to give up. I have never been here before, but as soon as you walk in here, the design has an 80s style, it's warm, and I feel safe. Everything is great so far. I ordered Freddy's Original Double With Bacon. I'm unsure about other people's reviews, but they did an excellent job making the burger. The meat has a little char, is smoky, and has a nice crunch. The fries blew me away; it's a fun shoestring fry, making it very shareable. Ten out of Ten. It's more expensive, but the burger is lovely with crisp burnt edges and fresh vegetables. We ordered the California Double With Bacon (extra onion). The bacon is extra crispy, and the flavor is really excellent. The value you're getting from In-N-Out doesn't have bacon; that's why Freddy stands out. The burger is smashed, and the cheese is melted nicely. Ordered a Regular Custard with strawberries and whipped cream and a mini brownie sundae on the app for pick up. Drove over to pick it up and the kid working the counter asked me what I was picking up and I told him the order and the name. He looks down at the bag he is holding and hands it to me - burgers fries and pushes a soda my way. I remind him of the name and what I am there for 5 minutes later he tells me they are out of strawberries. I ask for bananas - nope, don't have those either. Just give me a plain.
