One recommendation: Order ahead and plan to arrive at the allotted time or a bit after, as food is usually ready a bit later than the noted time - not really a huge deal for us. Never judge a book by it's cover! Upon walking in, there was an employee with facial piercings, another with face tats. But, these guys were so on point!!! Friendly greeting, great customer service, very professional, very efficient, & food was great at a resonable price! I was thoroughly impressed! My only issue, as these guys were handling business. There were tables that needed attention, as the Cashier just stood at the register. Now, had there been guests needing to pay. I could understand. Thankfully Fresco's was closed yesterday (Monday), and that Yelp had such good reviews about this place. Jersey Mike's is great!! But it's not perfect... Yes, the freshly sliced deli meat and cheese is a fantastic alternative to your usual pre-silced fast food sub shops (Subway, Quizno's, etc.). Something about doing this, just makes the flavors stand out so well. And everything they put on the sandwich mixes very well (or compliments) the other ingredients (especially getting it Mike's Way). The service is super friendly here!!! The guy at the meat slicer was asking about our day (in a genuine way) and one of the other guys came over and talked to us at the table (about international football, aka soccer) while setting the channels on the televisions. But best of all? They offer TASTYKAKES on the menu!!! Sadly, they're refrigerated, but where else in the Fort Worth area are you going to find these little bundles of baked goods lovin'? Now the bad... Though the service is friendly, it doesn't translate to speedy. Try to avoid this place during lunch hours (unless you have the time to spare). I think we waited somewhere around 10 - 15 minutes just to get to the counter and order (good thing we didn't have anything else to do that day). Overall I really like the sandwiches, but like Marisa said, it's a lot like Blimpie use to be (let me explain). Even though Jersey Mike's has more savory flavored meats and cheeses then Blimpie ever did, most of the other toppings lack a lot of flavor. The only thing saving the rest of the sandwich from being completely bland is the Copious (with a capital C) amount of oil and red wine vinegar that they douse all over your sandwich (which could explain Marisa's soggy bottom sandwich). I.... am a mann.. of constant sorrow... (sorry, I just read soggy bottom and got carried away). :D Finally, the price. Most of the regular sized sandwiches are roughly around $6.25 (see my attached pic for a look at a regular size sandwich - even though I took a picture of two halves). I know they slice their meat fresh, but if I'm hungry on a budget this would not be my first sandwich option (regardless of taste). But other then the grips, this is a nice place to eat and would recommend it if you have the time and money to spend. read more

Yo bro i need a hoagie, like right now. Being from philly the feeling is overwhelming. Just hit the gym to make my body even more beautiful and there is no wawa to run to so I hit the next best thing, Jmikes. I was greeted with a smile by the lady behind the meat slicer and I told her I need a roast beef hoagie right now. She grabbed the beef and went right to work. Her expert strokes on the slicer were much appreciated and she created a beautiful hoagie for my immediate enjoyment. I had her put sweet peppers and oil and vinegar on that bad boy and it was ready to be inhaled. The good sevice was appreciated and I gave the the sacred philly head nod and I was on my way to destroy the workout I had just completed. The roast beef was a bit on the dry side but the bread brought me back to my days working in South Jersey. I am a roast beef junkie so I am tough on quality assurance but dont be fooled this sandwich was delicious. This wasnt my favorite Jmikes location but I was very pleased with my hoagie and the nice service I got there. I did not realize it had been so long since last here... I was actually thinking I gave it 3 stars last time, and would have done the same again, except for one thing: Jersey Mike's now has a "pepper relish" which is the exact flavor the sub was missing. It's not too hot, a little sweet, a little sour, and in my mind goes perfect with anything, but especially well with capicolla and provolone. If you're not sure about this condiment, ask for it on the side (you may find the usual amount placed on the sandwich a bit too much for your taste as it can over-power a bit). My husband and I just found out that Jersey Mike's has tasty gluten-friendly offerings. They have a g-free cookie, a nice selection of chips, and even an Udi's gluten-friendly loaf for sandwiches. That alone is reason for us to visit this establishment, but also, the service is especially good. The manager and staff were eager to get to know us and our sandwich habits which is great because as someone with Celiac, I am supposed to ask restaurants to switch gloves and clean surfaces on every visit. This crew was very careful to keep my food as safe as possible. Just specify that you would like your sandwich gluten free. First time I've ever gotten a mediocre sandwich from JM. The main issue was the bread. I didn't know if I was eating bread or a magic eraser. This stuff was D.R.Y.!!! Let see where do I start? Well first off, On 01/30/2024 I placed an online order through the app, with simple detail instructions on how I wanted my sandwich. Everything I DIDN'T won't on my sandwich was on my sandwich and everything I wanted on my sandwich WASN'T on there. I called the store, asked for the manager. A lady by the name of Christina (hopefully her real name) answered the phone, identified herself as the manager,was apologetic and agreed to replace my sub. Ok, cool! Sandwich was Replaced and I was satisfied. Moving forward I make another online order on 02/06/2024 and the same exact thing happened again! What The Hell! I literally only ask for 3 things on my sandwich and Christina and staff can't even get that right. I hesitated to make this review but it seems as if the manager is passive aggressive and has a nasty attitude. Although I didn't know the manager name, I have been going to the Jerseys Mike's since 2020 and the "Christina Manager Lady" (if that's her real name) has managed to leave out my chips, napkins and etc throughout this time. After being contacted and asked to visit again, I agreed. I didn't accept a free meal or anything else in exchange, so my update is totally unbiased. The food was excellent, as usual. The difference this time was in the service. Service lapses in the course of business are inevitable. How an owner addresses them is the difference. This owner is obviously a serious businessman and has made a number of changes since my previous visit. It was like walking into a completely different store. This staff was outstanding. I stopped by at lunch time, it was fairly busy, but it was running like a well-oiled machine. The employees were all hustling, but all of them were pleasant. Service was fast. Jersey Mike's is a great cold sub place. The meat is flavorful and fresh tasting (freshly sliced too) and the accoutrements are limited but good. No subway-style choice over quality. You can get lettuce, onions and tomato, vinegar and oil, as well as oregano and some other spice I'm forgetting. This is "Mike's way" and it's great. In addition they have pickles, banana peppers and mayo. They may possibly also have mustard. The spices really add a tasty kick. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Twice I've been, and twice I've had a nice friendly conversation with the person operating the meat slicer who takes your order. The types of meats available are turkey, roast beef, cappacuola, prosciuttini (which I'd never heard of), ham, salami, and pepperoni. I've tried all meats but the roast beef (most sandwiches come with several meats) and they are all fantastic. There are also hot subs on the side menu like philly cheesesteak (3 preparations), and some other stuff. Honestly if you want to know how these are you can try them yourself because I would rather eat the delicious deli style sandwiches. read more

As I've said in other reviews, I am a big fan of classic cold subs. After passing Jersey Mike's a number of times I checked out the website at my husband's insistance. I was happy to see that the website features photos of nice cold subs. I'm not interested in places that where cold subs are merely an after though in favor of the trendy hot sub. As we walked in and gazed up at the menu the first thing that struck me was how friendliness of the staff. The lady who helped us told me that I had to try the number 13 "The Original Italian". Basically it has every Italian sub meat imaginable. Everyone at the shop was super engaging and interested in what they were selling - talking about how much they loved the subs and what they like on them. You are encouraged to order your sub "Mike's way" which is lettuce, tomato, onions, oil and vinegar. I got it minus the onions and with mayo (my life-long love). The sandwich was absolutely delicious. You can taste that the meats and cheeses were sliced right in front of you and are exceedingly fresh. I am excited to find a nice sub shop that's closer than The Great Outdoors in Ft. Worth with such friendly people! read more

I love the steak and cheese. This place is the best! The staff is always kind and quickly helps you. I saw a comment earlier about soggy bread on the bottom and I found this to be true with the legit sub shops the fresh made real ingredients and actually hot when the give it to you results in a soggy bun if you let it sit or take it to go. However I called for one and requested some napkins to be placed on the bottom to absorb the steam created by the hot sub. The awesome part was I didn't get any static about an unusual request. I would of never walked into Jersey Mike's if one of my members didn't bring me lunch one day. I don't know which sub I had but it was terrific! One day for lunch I walked into one. I ordered #5 the super sub, size GIANT... which had provolone, ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo and I did it mike's all the way with onions, lettuce, tomato, vinegar oil, and spices. When he was wrapping up the sub and juice was falling out and I was worried it was going to be drenched. When I got home and bit into it, it was perfect! The sauce with all the vegetables was amazing. This is my new favorite sub place. My giant size sub was close to $13 dollars but I said this could feed 2 people. read more

Jersey Mike's has a wonderful Italian sandwich that is very hearty and filling. They are not stingy with the ingredients, that's for sure! Absolutely, positively, the best customer experience of any sub shop my family and I have ever visited hands down. The ladies that work at night take the experience to a whole other level. They not only assist with any questions about the menu but they actually take the time to smile and have a human conversation outside of food. The subs of course are delicious, I personally love the Tuna Mike's way, and my wife fell for the Cold Club heated up Mike's way. But it is the experience that truly separates one business from another and this my friends is a step above the rest. You will be seeing us quit often Jersey Mike's. The subs are OK, but the service is really lacking. The idea of the order taker also slicing your meat is fine, but it really slows down the line. On four visits I've waited in line more than 20 minutes. They have a second station, but refuse to open it. When asked, they said that slicer was only for lettuce and they didn't want to get it dirty. Making customer stand in line while only one person slices meat is pretty bad service - it shows they have no regard for their paying customer's time or convenience. So, I thought I would beat the line and call my order in to pick up. However, when I got there the workers were horsing around and the sandwiches had not been started. They thought it was pretty funny. As far as the taste of the sandwiches. Like I said, just OK. If you order it "Mike's Way" be prepared for it to be drowned in vinegar. Also, it seems like there is about half as much meat as there was when they first opened. I doubt I'll be back. The waiting is crazy, but the staffs joking around and lack of concern about the waiting is even worse. read more

Sunday Dec3 approximately 2pm, I went in with my brother who ordered in front of me. I then ordered a hot sub. We paid and then sat down and waited. His sub was made in normal fashion. I then watched the owner or manager make a call in order of 6 subs. No problem, I understand......then i watched the staff proceed to make sandwiches for another 4 or 5 people, most of whom came in after me. When I began to complain he mentioned the call in order and that my sub was hot. There is no way it should have taken any longer to heat the meat than it did for him to make those six sandwiches. Rather than admit they made a mistake he got upset and told me to take my money and get out. I said that was fine and I would never bother him again. I can assure you that absolutely nothing I said at any time could in any way be considered threatening, yet on at least 3 occasions after that, he accused me of threatening him so he could point out that he was armed so he could "take care of people like me"......his words. I felt like I was in an episode of Southpark. It was very clear to me that he wanted to pull his gun on me or at the very least fight me but I refused to give him such provocation. And to ice the cake.....when he was punching in my refund, I noticed that he had my sandwich in his hand the whole time. So rather than just give me my sandwich and be done with it, he CHOSE to do all this. I don't know if he was the manager or the owner of the store, but I can assure you I will never venture into another JM's again. It's one thing to complain about the food or the service, it's something totally different when you fear for your life when doing so. read more

While the team seemed slammed at the time, they blazed through the line without compromising quality. Everything was perfect this time. They have regained our business. Thank you! Way overpriced for the quality. Although their subs come with a good portion of meat, their bread was hard as a rock. We decided to give this Jersey Mike's a try, but unfortunately will not be coming back. We ordered 3 sandwiches and all three were like eating toast.
