Tanous had done a good job installing our AC splits so we went with them to when we proactively…read morereplaced our boiler in the summer of 2025 even though they were more expensive than other vendors. Things were fine until we had a series of cold weeks Dec-Jan of 2026. The boiler was leaking significant amounts of hot water to the point that our boiler room turned into a sauna and piping became corroded. Despite various calls and visits from Tanous, the issue was not fixed so we had to bring in a separate plumber to redo all the piping and replace key components of the boiler. We shared photos and videos with Tanous during the period of issues. During a particularly cold weekend without heat, they indicated that they could not send someone out to fix the issues. Our plumber indicated that various parts used in the installation looked to be used/repurposed and key items were misinstalled and they had to overhaul the entire system. The owner from Tanous ("Mike") promised to take care of everything and cover the costs of our plumber once he was back from traveling abroad, but went radio silent after we shared the invoice despite various follow ups from Jan-March of 2026. They also refused to provide their insurance to cover the cost of the repairs. I will never be using Tanous again and would caution anyone considering them for such work in the future.

He kept me informed every step of the way about what they were doing. They came at 2 and finished about 5ish. We had previously agreed about a price. Yet I gave him a bit more because he also changed my bathroom sink faucet which the handle was broken.. the next day when I had a small issue, he came back quickly and fixed it. We had a very disappointing experience with Eco Air…read more We originally hired Eco Air to repair our heating system. It took three separate service visits before they diagnosed the issue. During the first visit, they told us the main control board had water damage and needed to be replaced, so we paid for a new board. Looking back, I still question that diagnosis because the electrical connection should have been properly enclosed. Several months later, one of our air conditioning units stopped working. When we inspected the equipment, we discovered that Eco Air had left the electrical outlet boxes for both HVAC units uncovered after their previous service. The covers had never been screwed back on, leaving both electrical connections exposed to rain, snow, and the elements for approximately five months. One unit has already failed, and the second unit was left exposed in exactly the same way. We now have no confidence in its condition or how long it will continue to operate. When we contacted Eco Air, we expected them to investigate the issue and stand behind their work. Instead, they largely avoided responding to us. We repeatedly asked for updates and a plan to resolve the problem, but received little communication and no meaningful effort to take responsibility. Because Eco Air failed to address the issue, we ultimately had no choice but to hire another HVAC company to inspect and repair the system. It is extremely frustrating that a company hired to repair one HVAC system left both HVAC systems exposed to the elements through careless workmanship. Customers deserve accurate diagnoses, quality workmanship, prompt communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Based on the quality of the work and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend Eco Air.

I reached out to several companies, quite wary from the previous experience. URBAN AIR HVAC, had a picture of the AC on it's site so I chose them. VLAD came that day, exactly when he said he would and competently reinstalled the units securely AND CENTERED THEM IN THE WINDOWs!! He gave me good advice on preventing air leakage, since the insulation strips were damaged in the previous process. He also guaranteed his work and committed to come back if I had any problems. He only charged his reasonable hourly rate, but I had to insist he get paid for the 2 reinstalls.
