Fred's place is the best dive in town! They have very good priced drinks and nice boilermaker specials. Also have tall boys of PBR's here. Always a great vibe to drink at a nice local neighborhood bar. They have lots of TVs for sports and have weekly events like trivia. This will be my go to spot when I need a drink.

Came to this place and I was visiting a friend around the area. This bar is very standard. Owner is friendly. They have good draft beer. Also you could smoke out front or outback they have a patio where the locals hang out. Pool table is decent. I haven't tried the food but it seems like it's real deal for a price. I would definitely come back here when I'm around Palo Alto .

Met my friends. And co worker at Fred's. Great time with karaoke. Girls did a great job singing.

Pretty chill place to go after work for a drink and a nice game of pool. Pitchers of beer are good price! Definitely recommend

Fred's is definitely a local favorite. I've come here on and off for years. It's relatively inexpensive, and has a great atmosphere.

Great Dive bar in an area where houses start at $1.5 million. It is definitely a hidden hot spot.

It's got that classic dive vibe--unpretentious, relaxed, and easy to settle into--but what really stood out was how clean the space was. Sometimes dive bars can feel a little too gritty, but this place strikes a great balance between character and comfort. The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. They were quick with drinks and genuinely friendly without being over the top. We lucked out and came on a karaoke night, which was such a fun surprise. The energy picked up in the best way, and it felt like everyone was just there to have a good time. Bonus points for the slight discount if you pay in cash--always appreciated. If you're looking for a laid-back, no-frills spot with good vibes and occasional karaoke fun, Le Banc is definitely worth checking out.

The lighting, music, and overall vibe were enjoyable, and the setup made it feel like a comfortable spot to hang out. The drinks were decent too. I had a very bad experience with the Lady bartender. She was rude and it felt like she thought she could speak to customers however she wanted. Her attitude made what could have been a pleasant visit extremely uncomfortable. The drinks were fine, but her attitude made the visit extremely uncomfortable. This review is an HONEST personal experience. I will never go back there again. It's better to go to other bars with good service and treat people equally. Good customer satisfaction is very important.

Only special times when we have a community meal. It is incredible to think that people have been making memories there for decades - easily 30 or even 40 years like my husband, Mike! It truly feels like a cornerstone of our neighborhood, a place where everyone knows your name and you always feel at home. All visitors have gone thru the challenges of life despite their differences--respectfully. And so much of that incredible, welcoming spirit comes directly from Chris, the manager with Nick and Janine, the bartenders. Chris genuinely believes in creating a true community hub, fostering an atmosphere where everyone feels like they're part of an extended family. You can really feel that dedication when you're there; it's exactly the kind of friendly, local spot we all cherish. We hope to celebrate my husband's birthday on Saturday, June 6!

More of an homage to bars of yesterday. I participated in a fundraiser at Amandine recently, handpicked by a board member because of the ambiance & overall relationship to the local community. I don't have the details of the cost for an event, but it was money well spent to share our work with a new audience. The bar provided hosted champagne, Old Fashions, & filtered water for our guests. Decor is already amazing & bartender is gifted. He's like a scientist with an aperitif laboratory!! It was fun to watch him create & design & coax & mix & pour. Small bar with nice seating at bar or booths with chairs. Everything is well-maintained and clean. Lighting is perfect with fun accents on walls & tables. Lots of nearby street & lot parking. In fact, many of the customers are locals. Bathroom - just one. Darn. Otherwise, it's clean & spacious.
