We've eaten here many times since finding this spot several months ago. Never once been disappointed with the food. We've mostly had breakfast items, but lunch a couple of times. Wraps, bowls, smoothies, specials, mac n cheese, crap wrap, and cold pressed juices. All wins. Things consistently taste fresh and healthy while still tasty and filling. The huevos rancheros is a particular favorite of ours as well as the nutella oat bowl. The hulk (both bowl version and smoothie) is another go-to for us. And I would be remiss if I didn't stop and call out the cold pressed juices. We tried the super sight (orange) first. Soo good! And after many months of the super immunity being out of stock we finally got to try it this morning. We understand why it always sells out. Amazingly good! I love this place! A much-needed addition to Hagerstown. The food is so fresh and so delicious! I've had their fresh-squeezed juices, the açaí bowl, and the vegan harvest bowl....all of which are 100% worth the money. There's so much on the menu I haven't tried, but what I've had is so good I have a tough time ordering something else! Nice place. Very clean and well lit cafe with the industrial style exposed pipes. Just got a $5 lemonade bc the sandwiches were even more expensive. Service took a long time (20 minutes) for my friend who did order a sandwich. Staff are nice and if you don't mind paying a lot, then you may like this place. read more

I have ordered food from Free Range Cafe three times now. I have ordered some type of rice bowl as well as several different varieties of their fruit 'blend' bowls, which pretty much consists of a smoothie on the bottom with a number of different fresh fruits, seeds, coconut flakes, etc. For the most part, I have always liked their blend bowls...however, not so much today. I ordered a dragonfruit blend bowl and paid for extra fresh fruit which I wasn't given . Talk about disappointment! Aside from being cheated out of the extra fruit that I paid for, both rice bowls that I ordered - which are advertised as being 'warm' were barely room temperature. I waited 30 minutes past the time that my order was supposed to be ready, so you would think it would have at least been warm. The rice bowls were cold, and the frozen fruit blend bowls were thawing and melting. I paid almost $60 for my order today, and it really wasn't even worth $30. If you're looking for an amazing rice bowl for a fair and decent price, this isn't the place for you! read more

First time here on our way through Hagerstown... Avocado toast with feta cheese is delicious! The blueberry smoothie was fresh and delicious, and the free range yogurt was amazing with lots of fruit and granola. Topped it off with a chai tea latte. Will definitely be back soon! read more

I love this place so much, I usually come here, but today I came on a busy day, I waited in drive thru for 30 min, no complaints about that. But they assigned me in a spot to get my items I ordered. I ordered 2 açaí bowls & a juice. I waiting in my spot for two hours and find to come they forgot about me and my order. I tried calling but there is no phone number available. They came to my car 3 times, first time to get my name and she didn't have my name, so she took it and what I ordered. Then they said it's coming. Waited another hour for the guy to come out and ask what I ordered and there was a mix up. I understand that you are busy but I think they are focusing on people who ordered online first rather than order at window. I don't believe it takes 2 hours to make 3 açaí bowls. The guy that finally got ahold of things was very nice and very fast. His initials are j.b or j.d, he was very nice and very helpful. Things need to be more organized here. read more
