I've had to take bike my bike 3 times to them because it kept doing the same thing after 10 minutes of riding so I sort of gave up and bike sat for few months. One day I've decided to give another shop a shot and found Gp Motomax. I can say that I was very pleased they got my bike back on road. The problem being the fuel pump which they suspect upon inspection so they ordered a oem pump which took a while but once they got it they've installed it so fast. What they suspect happened was they just replaced the motor of fuel pump and called it day so by replacing the whole pump properly bike was great again. The crazy part is that total of parts and labor ended up cheaper than what I paid at Motorhelmet. Will definitely come back for more service to get my bike to top tip. They are honest hard working people with very very reasonable price and great communications which is super rare nowadays. I would hate keep this so they won't get too busy but I highly recommend them!

Don't end up finding the hard way like me.

I didn't hold back--I explained exactly how disappointing my first experience had been. Within minutes, I received a phone call from someone at the store who genuinely wanted to understand what happened. That immediately got my attention. I explained that I had driven over two hours because I had previously made an online purchase that went perfectly, and it gave me enough confidence to visit the store in person. I also shared my concerns about how I was treated by the parts department. He listened, apologized, and told me he would bring the issue to management because he genuinely cared about making things right. To me, that's what great customer service looks like. Anyone can make a mistake, but not every business takes the time to listen, follow up, and address a customer's concerns. On top of that, they have competitive prices and a great selection in stock. Because of the way they handled my feedback, I wouldn't hesitate to make the two-hour drive again. Their prices are fair and they accept both credit card and cash/Zelle (if you want to avoid the 3% credit card surcharge). During the oil change they also noted some things that will need repair, but weren't pushy with their recommendations. Not many shops understand these cars since they're rare and complex. Kiet and his worker (Duong?) were able to work on my car without any issues. The price quoted was exactly the price I paid as well. I will definitely be a returning customer. I live in Australia and have done done business with Devin and Mike for some time. I have purchased numerous bikes from them, had them repaired and customized. I saved money, didn't have to ride almost 30 miles away, and got to support a small local business instead of a mega dealer. Plus they're less than a mile away from my work. No brainer. I dropped off my bike around 10:30 this morning and was ready about an hour later since there was a lift available. When I got back, Johnathan gave me a rundown of what was done to my bike and adjustments he had made. Thankfully nothing was out of the ordinary which one should expect with a new bike! Johnathan and Alex were both friendly and professional which I'm thankful for. Much respect to them for that. In my experience, certain hobbies tend to have toxic gatekeeper types. I feel like motorcycling is one of those hobbies. It's intimidating to be new, especially when you're just starting out and eager to learn. If and when I need service or an advanced repair that's out of my skillset, I will 100% be going back because I know my bike will be in good hands.

He did a very thorough check and recommended a rear brake fluid change. I did that and mentioned that the bike had a hard time starting when cold. Then the owner just happened to come in when he was about to take it for a test ride. Luckily, the bike had a hard time starting. The owner said the carburetor needed to be cleaned in order to fix the hard start issue. I had them do the work and it has started easily ever since. I highly recommend Mach 1 motorcycles. I just bought my 1985 FXRT that was having some ominous shifting issues and finding neutral was…read moreimpossible. A close friend suggested that I take it to Phil, who he highly recommended. Upon dropping my bike off to Phil's Speed I knew I was in the right place. There were all different types of bikes in various stages of build and repair of all vintages. In talking with Phil, I learned that his shop has been around for 40 years and that he had a back ground in aerospace machining - and it shows. Phil was\is methodical in working up my estimate - walking me through everything he would look at. Once he was able to diagnose my bike, he called and walked me through his shop tag, and found several critical repairs that were also needed. He talked me through issues with my carb, brakes, and came up with a solution for my exhaust (which I was having issues with). He showed me the parts and hard proof of what happened with repairs from the previous owner\shop. Phil's the real deal. There is no guess work in his repairs. My bike is night and day different. (My bike shifts like butter now). He isn't a parts changer but the last of true mechanics\engineers that knows how parts work and why they are made the way they are. He knows OEM and modified assemblies (I had an aftermarket performance clutch that was not adjusted properly) and will tailor his repair to what the use case is.
