Freedom Floors replaced our 18-year-old carpet after we had a plumbing leak with a little over 1000 sq ft of luxury vinyl plank and new base moulding. Every step of the process was perfect. Chris was helpful picking out our vinyl and made 3 stops at the house to show us various options and left some samples so we could see them in different lighting and locations. His quote was significantly better than the competition and was able to schedule us for just 3 weeks out. The install was great too. Where do I begin! From the start Chris was so responsive and attentive to every need we had. There is a reason why everyone in my neighborhood has used him. When he comes to your house to show you his flooring all the flooring samples are ready in the van. He will take them off the van and show you in your house. My wife was in between two samples he had so he was patient and left them with us so she could decide. On day one of "operation new floor"lol. His crew came in and took out all the tile in my house and all the rug in hours. They were super clean and picked up after themselves. Update: floors look great and are holding up (as they should be). Wanted to share pictures and the final verdict after the install of the base molding by another company. My only complaint is that they didn't ensure my house's foundation was level before the install. I didn't know this till I had another company install my base molding and discovered gaps in certain areas. Not very noticeable but annoying. I wish Chris and his team would have checked for this and discussed options and remedies. I still stand by their excellent customer service and would hire them again with the understanding they check my foundation. read more

It's been over a year since Chris and company had a job at my house, but I was extremely happy with their service. He installed laminate wood in most of the house, tile in the bathrooms and kitchens, as well as baseboards throughout the house. I contacted Freedom Floors as a recommendation from a close friend. I was able to see the work Chris the owner completed and it looked great. We had purchased a new 2800 sqft home and were going to install floors throughout. We had already picked tile for our bathrooms when Chris came out, but were still deciding on the wood. Chris brought samples, but he didn't have much in the color pallet we were looking for. He also told us the tile we selected had some sort of issue that neither me or my wife could see. He recommended a local tile store that he uses. I could understand why. We went to look and even with Chris's discount the options were 3 to 4 dollars more a square foot! We also went and located wood at another retailer that we were happy with. When I contacted Chris via email to tell him we had decided to keep the tile and had found flooring as well, he never responded. I received several other quotes and discovered that all of the installers were the same price per square foot. I discovered Chris was charging an additional .50 cents more a square foot then the other installers I received quotes from. I emailed Chris a second time to ask him to contact me and to see if he price matched other installers and still wanted the job. Chris never returned my emails. I was very disappointed because I knew Chris did quality work. Our experience was that Chris does not want to do business with customers who do not select products that he carries and is able to purchase at a low price and up charge. We feel even with us deciding not to use Chris's products the job would still be easy and profitable for him as we were having 2800 sqft of flooring installed. We also felt a return email advising he didn't want he job would have been professional. read more

After spending a lot of time dreading the process of having our home re-floored, my wife and I started getting estimates based on Yelp reviews. We ultimately decided on Freedom Floors, Chris came to the house prepared with samples, gave a great presentation and was very personable. His estimate provided more cluck for our buck than any other estimate, by a long shot. We hired him and found he is a busy man, he was booked for the next month. Chris and his team were well worth the wait, we hit the jackpot of flooring contractors!! There is a good reason for Freedom Floors to be booked so far in advance, they show up on time everyday, they have a team of guys who are real craftsmen, who take pride in there work and it showed! We have a 2550 Sq. Ft. home, every inch of which was re-floored, 3 bathrooms tiled, 3 bedrooms carpeted, the rest laminate and new baseboards all the way around the house. After removing tile in the kitchen and entryway, linoleum in the bathrooms and laundry room, carpeting from the rest of the house and moving our furniture to the garage, they got right to work. The floors look incredible and the baseboards, despite making a huge amount of cuts (we have bull nose corners throughout the house) are a masterpiece! Five days later the job was complete, despite the intense heat they had to endure the entire time. They then brought the furniture back in the house and even reconnected our washer and dryer. I cannot stress enough how great it was to do business with Chris and his team, they went "above and beyond" our expectations. Our experience quite honestly could not have gone any smoother or been any better, Freedom Floors is simply the best!! Note: I would take the one star reviews with a grain of salt, they are such an opposite representation of the person Chris is, he is very personable, was very responsive to any requests made and treated us as valued customers. GREAT COMPANY! I searched for months through friends looking for someone I could trust. after many flaky people not calling me back or not showing up to appointments. I turned to Google and yelp to find someone. I saw the 5 stars and gave it a shot... so happy I did. I Got a quote back in Feb/March. Chris came out with his samples and I was able to choose the perfect match for the rooms I wanted done. I'm very indecisive so it was nice that he was patient with me. Then when work was being completed on my home and the owner Chris was present didn't introduce himself, gave my mother dirty looks and after knowing I had previously wrote a review for the lack of communication I received from this business He decided to continue to provide average customer service. If I owned a business and I was in someone's home I think I would go up to them and say, " hey I know I didn't return your call I apologize for that and I hope you see that my flooring work speaks for itself. I am very pleased we were able to find Chris and his team! We had laminate flooring put in and re-carpeted a room and stair way. I was more than pleased we took his recommendation to use "shoe" vs removing the base boards. The transition is seamless and looks beautiful! To top it off they are extremely honest. I had talked to a few contractors that were recommended through floor and decor and thought their measurements were off. But what did I know they are the professionals right? After having Chris come down and measure then complete the job it was obvious that the other contractors were padding the job and attempting to pad their pockets.
