We can't express how happy we are to go the independent business route and the quality of the service and product was amazing AND at a much better deal compared to other big name businesses. Wow! This is a great place for carpet. Forget big box stores that put you through the run around trying to coordinate with 3rd party. We literally found the best deal and upgraded pad that is there standard pad and carpet for under $6.00 installed with them. They were easy to work with the installer Rudy was great even though his helper called off the day of our job he didn't try to reschedule he just had more work and a longer day as he didn't sacrifice quality work just to get out quick. He stayed till 7:30 pm and then offered to stay longer to vacuum. Please know if you go with them you will have a great experience all the way around. After a year carpet is moving and has lumps in it, our baseboards all were not Calked some of my BRAND NEW baseboards are damaged because of it. I asked the installers to add calking between the baseboard and the floor and they said they don't do that we were offered a discount but years later this is going to cost more $$$ to fix, I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! The wife and I stopped in Sav on carpet on the way back from bunch to look at flooring as we have lived in our home for 13 years and still had the original flooring (3 kids later). Well, my wife found flooring for the whole house, and we decided to buy (Happy Birthday Babe). The salespeople are nice and straightforward but with no real bargaining. Scheduling wasn't too bad, but we did have a few bumps along the way. Baseboard paint was bad on the first go around, but Sav-on handled it. Now we have carpet seem issues and have been waiting 2 months to be put on the schedule to come look at it. This job is only about 3 months old. Tile work was good, though. The customer service was what I was looking for- he made good recommendations and the pricing was almost $800 LESS THAN what Home Depot quoted me and Savon offered upgraded carpet and pad! They came to measure the same day that I went into the shop and got me on the books two weeks later! Had them replace our carpet and wood laminate and baseboards - they did a great job! Also had them replace our old counters with quartz. We had 6-inch tile counters and a 6-inch tile backsplash. Had them install quartz counters with a 6-inch quartz backsplash. Unfortunately, the tile must have been pretty stuck on those walls. I hadn't realized replacing the 6-inch tile with 6-inch quartz wouldn't cover the damage. If you have a backsplash to remove, I'd suggest going with a full backsplash to cover any potential wall damage. Had to hire someone else to come repair the drywall, for which Sav On did reimburse me. I have to say Danny does a great job of trying to make things right! His goal is to make his customers happy! This kind of customer service is very rare nowadays. I give them 4.5 stars for the job (perhaps most countertop guys would have done the same thing), but 5 stars for their customer service and great prices! read more
