I live in Warwick NY, I was towing home a light tower with my one ton Dodge mason dump truck from Queens NY when my transmission blew on the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx. I was towed off the highway by the "Licensed NYS Thruway" tow company and left on the side of the off ramp on exit 11. I called Freemans' and explained my situation. The owner explained it would be a little while for the right truck to come and get both the truck and trailer in one shot. The truck arrived within 90 minutes and the driver was fantastic. He did everything to get my truck on the tow and the trailer hooked up to the back. We arrived back in Warwick in one piece. The entire time the driver was great, stopped several to make sure everything was going well with the tow, was very friendly and we had a great conversation along the way. I cant say say enough great things about the service. Some people who leave negative reviews forget that not everything in the universe revolves around them. It took five hours from the time I was dumped at the side of the off ramp to when I got home. Never once was I let down. Considering what it costs to be in business in NY and the price I paid to get a dump truck and trailer 60 miles home, I was very satisfied. Great company, great driver! read more

Not only did he do that efficiently, but he kept trying to tell me to relax and breathe because I was going to be late to officiate at a wedding and was very upset about that. Freeman's is amazing. Trustworthy and honest , they will never take advantage of your lack of knowledge about something to get you to pay for something you do not need. I have taken multiple cars here and they have been honest about how long something will last and when it really needs replacing. I have brought my car in more than once for the same issue( a noise) and they only charged me once. I recently took 2 of my vehicles to Freeman's since some of the staff from Lake Region had moved there. There service was on time and excellent. I love the digital inspection you receive on your phone which shows you what passed, non- urgent issues as well as urgent issues. They even include pictures so you can see what they are referencing. Very honest people. I brought the car to a dealer who said I needed brakes and alignment because my steering wheel was off. I called for a quote from Freeman's (where my parents get their car fixed) they quoted me $100 less and actually it ended up being $200 less because that steering problem was non existent. Freeman's was the best experience. Me and my girlfriends got a flat tire on the NY Thruway at 7:15 am. We pulled into Freeman's parking lot and they preceded to repair our flat tire even before they were officially open. Clean bathroom and waiting area, and Each service man was more pleasant then the next. Recommend highly. We were out of there before 7:30. They are the best !!! read more

They're honestly pretty solid. They took an extra day on me last year because their guy messed up, and they gave me a 50% discount on the labor for that.
