Worst service department ever! Took my truck to get oil changed and it cost me 700$ like always and 6 hours of my day. They didn't change the fuel filter which was due so I made another appointment just to get the fuel filter and fluids changed another 6 hours and 500$ then they blew the transmission fluid all over the undercarriage and ended up not charging me for that but still didn't change the fuel filter so now I get to make yet another appointment and probably going to give up another day of my life to get it done. I wish I would have bought my vehicle somewhere else. read more

My mother-in-law took her truck down for an oil leak (most likely an oil pan gasket) and the service department still hadn't taken the time to look at the truck after having it for two days. Mind you, this is her only means of transportation. Rick, the assistant service manager, didn't seem to give a damn about looking at it even after calling him to ask what the status was. My mother-in-law went down to just pick up her truck since the service department couldn't be bothered to do their job. She was given excuse after excuse of why they hadn't looked at it. Since no service manager was available, they called over a sales manager to talk to her. His excuse was they had to close down due to the pandemic two months ago (doubt it being that businesses have been open for a while, but I'll play along) and that it was difficult getting inventory to sell. Why would sales and inventory matter for a service appointment? It really seemed like the sales manager was trying to paint the dealership as a victim in all of this. I can understand being behind and that being the reason it wasn't looked at, but say something when the appointment is being made. What makes the most sense to me is when the truck was dropped off, they saw one of several things: 1. Female 2. Older 3. Non-white 4. English is her second language. Or a combination of all of those. I think this more so now after seeing multiple people waiting for their vehicles when she picked up her truck. The unfortunate part for the dealership is that if the issue with the oil leak was going to cost too much, she was just going to trade it in for a new car. I'll take any future business I have somewhere else and will also let friends and family know how much Freeway Chevrolet sucks. read more

Oh my god... don't even try to talk to these guys. I looked at a Chevy bolt, Jermel called me in saying one price, when I got there worked with Dwayne, waited an hour of my time and they increased the price by $5K from what they told me, standard bait and switch. So I left... but it didn't stop there. Over the next few days the war dialed me, almost 20 missed calls till I finally answered. It was Jermel wanting me to come back, I told him that I didn't want to waste my time again and to not call me again. He called 3 more times back to back, I got angry and started to yell at him, he invited me to come down to the lot and fight him, I told him that he wasn't worth wasting more time, and if he wants, gave him the gym name and he can come get beat up anytime, and hung up on him. He called several times back to back, this time was his sales manager acting dumb like he didn't know what was going on, had me on speaker trying to get me angry and yell. I proceeded to tell them what I thought of them. Overall shocked and appalled and the way they do business. I will NEVER do business with them, or any business they are affiliated with. This was by far the best purchasing experience I have had at a car dealership. I had made 6 car purchases in the last several years and went to 7 dealerships during this processes. I explained my situation to Seth and provided him my needs. He kept in contact and was never pushy during our interactions through text and email. When I was finally able to go to the dealership to test drive he asked questions to understand my situation, he really tried to find out as much as he could to help me get as many rebates as possible. He provided me numbers and options and always made it feel it was informational and no pressure, I just felt like he wanted to give me as much info to process and space to make a decision. This was the first time ever I felt I got a great offer up front, they worked hard for rebates and to lower the price the first time and not have to go back and forth and speak to the finance manager to actually get a deal I could afford. They provided all numbers up front, I knew exactly the amount down and monthly I would pay. In the past, I would get two sets of numbers, one in the negotiation processes and another in finance, this was not the case with Seth at Freeway Chevrolet. He gave me all the info, told me the total price, all the rebates, everything they could do and all my options and it came in lower than I asked. The other dealerships I spoke with all came in 200-400 higher and as I asked questions about tax and such found it would actually be higher. So when I was presented with a great offer right away with no back and forth, I was shocked. Brought in my 2015 Chevy Volt which was experiencing intermittent issues with the middle console display. Upon start up, the screen would remain dark instead of displaying the Sirius XM display. Upon putting it in reverse, the rear camera view wouldn't appear while I backed out of my garage and driveway. Ultimately the display would return to normal behavior. The diagnosis was to replace the battery, which knowing that the battery was already over 2 years old, seemed reasonable. I picked up the car upon work completion and was heading home but stopped at Home Depot. Upon leaving Home Depot, I had to back out of parking place and once again, no rear camera display. I returned the car to the dealer a couple of days later and at the end of the day it was determined that there was a tech bulletin issued by Chevy for this issue and a program update was needed to correct this issue. Once the program update was completed, all of the previous display issues were resolved. I doubt that the battery replacement was absolutely necessary, and seems like it was the first step in the trouble-shooting process and the tech never explored other possibilities related to the display issue. The fact the I picked up the car the first time and immediately experienced the rear camera failure is troubling in that the tech should have tested the process through backing up the car before declaring the problem resolved. The service advisor that I worked with very helpful and kept me informed, but the tech was a disappointment. read more

An extremely distasteful visit. We had come before and the associate at that time did a great job but the vehicle was not available to drive. This visit was the opposite. The associate Brad had little to no knowledge on the car details. After doing a test drive and noticing a fairly big patch of thread on a the side of the tire, they decided that it was "cosmetic" & would not require a fix. Red flag. The car also had stock tinted windows but when reviewing the pricing it was a charge for almost 800$. This was one of multiple absurd additional pricing, that most definitely did not apply. For example, paint protection on a car that has scuff marks and dents. The associate Brad most definitely let his emotions get the best of him & acted unprofessional when giving him our concerns. After taking the initiative to deescalate what the conversation had turned to. We expressed we were no longer interested in which he then stormed off. I would definitely take business elsewhere. read more

My husband's 1990 Chevy truck overheated on the highway and he called Freeway Chevrolet to see if they can work on it. They said yes (he even made sure on a 1990) he had it towed there for $120.00. So I pick my husband up from Freeway Chevrolet, I see them taking pictures of the truck. The next day my husband gets a call that his truck is too old to work on...WHAT!!!!!!! NOW the issue is that they said they can work on it. We towed it there for $120.00 THEN they say oh sorry it is too old. We requested they pay for the tow for their error. NOPE!! read more

This is the worst service I have ever received. I was told by a different dealership that they may have the airbag that I need. I call back in July and scheduled it to August 8th being told that my advisor would call. It wasn't in so I canceled that appointment. Didn't hear from my advisor until August 16th stating it will be at the end of August. I kept checking up being told now that it is going to be in October. But find out that it came in on the 28th of August and I missed my appointment. It's kind of hard to miss an appointment if no one calls to let you know the part came in. The lack of transparency is just plain stupid and a waste of time. If a customer cannot afford a price and the sales person cannot come down say no deal and move on. I'm giving them a 5 star as we had a simple buying experience. We were looking for a specific car and they happened to have it. I requested if it was available online and within 30 minutes I received an email from Jason S (leaving last name off for privacy for them). I didn't see that email so I had picked up the phone and called to inquire and spoke with Steve F. He was great and told me to come on down the car was available. We got there around 6pm with my 2 year old son and both Jason and Steve met us. They had the car pulled up and ready to test drive. They applied 0 pressure to us from the door which as we all know is one of the reasons why nobody enjoys car dealerships because they can be pushy! They listened to what we wanted, and went to bat for us. We walked away two times because the price wasn't where we wanted. Both guys never pressured us or were rude but they were hungry for the sale and ended up making it happen. It took about 4 hours and my son was so tired but they were so patient with my family. The next day I realized the car wasn't cleaned properly and I text Jason. He immediately replied and told me to bring the car back! I went in and again they were both there and both so professional. He even followed up with me today to make sure I was happy! Did I mention both employees were fairly new to the team and they were a great representation of the dealership.
