This company is rude and harassing. I filled out their online form curious to see what kind of rate they'd offer me but not yet ready to seriously buy a policy. Of course, this meant that they'd call to followup but--like with everyone else--I told them I wasn't seriously interested yet and hung up. That was it right? WRONG. The following days I got many calls throughout each day, day after day. Finally one day I get fed up and I answer, they say they want to give me a free quote so hang on--the professional is on the line--so I say ok. I wait and wait on hold for the same rep to come back and say they'll call me back because he's not yet ready (huh?) so I say ok. They call back like a minute later yelling at me not to hangup again (what??), tell me again to wait because he's on the other line so I say ok. They again say they're having trouble getting ahold of them so I again tell them I'm not interested and hang up. They then proceed to persistently call me back over and over within that same hour. I eventually get so fed up I just have AT&T block all calls from their 800 #. That would be enough, if it wasn't for the fact that this night I get ANOTHER call from them, this time from a blocked number. The first time I answer they hangup, whatever. They call back a hour later, I answer again and this time they yell at me "You idiot why you not answer? Why you block us?! What the f*** is wrong with you?!" so I hang up on them without saying anything. LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR TO YOU MORONS, I DO NOT WANT YOUR SHADY OVERSEAS BUSINESS. In case it wasn't clear by 1) my hangups on your repeat calls 2) my blocking of your # and 3) my listing of my number on the do not call list let me say it here in plain text for you... I DO NOT WANT A POLICY FROM YOU AND I DO NOT WANT YOU TO KEEP CALLING ME SO STOP NOW. BE AWERE!!!this place is a rip-off!from October 22 until November 19th I ended up paying over 500$ insurance!Dora Mangana helped us out!she lied straight to my face telling me that the 330$ that I paid on November 2nd as a down payment included the first and the last month of insurance and that my next payment will be due on December 2nd....then I got my bill in the mail which is due on November 22nd!!!i tried to cancel the policy but she told me that from the 330$ that I paid I would get back just 84$!!!OUTRAGEOUSE!!!i understand that u guys are brokers and u have fees but don't disguise it as a down payment and lie to get the customers!u r just pathetic!!! read more

This was the absolute worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. After receiving an online quote for a satisfactory amount, I went into the office on Euclid in Anaheim. At that point, the representative told me my quote was wrong and they wanted over 3 times the original amount. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and had her search several other companies, since they claim to have access to 150 companies. The lowest she would even confirm was still more than double the original quote. When I approached the manager to speak to her, she called me by the wrong name. Understandable if my DL hadn't been sitting right in front of her face for the past 30 minutes. They lie to get you in the door, and their customer service skills are incompetent. The manager is also stupid enough to have the employees sales/commission board in plain view of the customers. They only care for their money and numbers. The customer does not matter. Terrible company who works with other criminal company...access insurance...first freewayway tried to bill me twice ..misrepresented the terms of my policy which they set up with access insurance....access is terrible..never do business with them. It's been over a months and a half since my accident...although I have full coverage they seem intent on trying to stall me and avoid me, and not pay what they owe me...the total loss adjuster robin Williamson does not answer his phone or return phone calls, they have not called me once though I try call them all the time they do not like to answer. I'm getting ready to seek legal help..contact the better business bureau and see what California law says about insurance companies who do not pay their bills...i will never use this company again nor should you. From the moment I walked in to Freeway Insurance & took a seat agent Francisco took the time from his present client to make sure I knew I was acknowledged. He got me started on some paperwork that, I felt, really sped up the entire process ahead of time. Being a first time insurance buyer & car owner I did feel a bit lost when it came down to it, but he made me feel really comfortable with everything being done/said. Frank ensured that I understood, completely, every piece of information that was being given to me & I highly appreciate that. He didn't just throw all the insurance terms at me & expect me to know what they meant, like did previous insurances I visited. I walked in just asking for a quote, because I wanted to ensure I had a variety of options before making such a big decision. Little did I know that I was going to be so satisfied with the quotes Frank presented to me, as well as his unmatched customer service, that I walked out of Freeway Insurance a safe & happily insured driver. I've had my DL no longer than 2months so I understand why I had been getting all these ridiculously high payment options, but he was able to find me a plan with everything I was looking for & for a price that I was comfortable with paying. I purchased an auto insurance policy from Stonewood Insurance Services #GSP90261552-00 through Freeway Insurance on 2/19/2018. I had a policy with Geico (premium $310.00) which was pricey so I shopped with Freeway and was quoted by Marwa AlJanabi a lower premium of $282.00 for a policy with Stonewood. Freeway entered incorrect data on my daughter's age and driving years experience. I mentioned this to Freeway Insurance supervisor Delia Garcia and wanted it corrected because wrong information can render the policy void. Delia sent an email to Stonewood asking for the amendment to the Declaration. The policy yearly premiums with Freeway's mistakes came to $3,746.52. When I received the correction the amendment yearly premiums came to $4,479.52 a jump of $733.00. I called Stonewood Insurance and spoke with Caesar who stated that he understood my frustration after I stated that Freeways mistake amounted to insurance fraud. I switched insurance companies for a lower premium not an increase. Cesare directed me to speak with supervisor Brian (Stonewood Insurance). Who blew me off. He stated that he thought I only had a question and to have a nice day. I believe Freeway Insurance made a deliberate mistake in order to make a sale. The broker fee and first months insurance came to $574.00 on my American Express credit card. I will be moving forward with complaints with Consumer Affairs, California Department of Insurance, Federal Trade Commission and any other agency I feel needs to know I was deliberately defrauded into purchasing with Stonewood by a misquote in premiums. I would also like to point out that Freeway Insurance wasted over three hours of my time with this policy. Marwa AlJanab left Delia Garcia to finish the policy she started. Delia left me on hold numerous times for extended periods of time. She also stated there were technical difficulties sending me my email version of the Stonewood policy/contract. read more

I don't even know where to begin except this is the most dishonest, fraudulent , unethical, Insurance company in the world. Avoid them at all costs or else you will end up in tears and fighting for everything . Freeway Insurance and Stonewood are very smart and know how to cover their ass legally with their endless paperwork ( contract ) read the fine print. which they quickly run you through to sign. I specifically asked my agent if i would be charged to add on or remove vehicles, because that was a deal breaker for me, and he said no you will not be charged for that.So after I payed an agent fee to sign up , come to find out first time I went to add / remove a vehicle I was told that would cost me ( an agent fee of $100 ) . This is how they were able to lie to me not calling it a fee to add a vehicle i was so angry i was lied to. So after only 2 months I requested to cancel ( in writing ) at the office . I recieved a confirmation and immediately called stonewood to cancel my auto pay as well. I thought i covered all my bases, but no they would not cancel my policy on the date I requested which was the 1st of the month, until they finally cancelled me at the end of the month for non pmt. I said I did not want to be cancelled for non payment i wanted it to be cancelled for customer requested. they would not do it even after multiple phone calls and letters faxed, proving i requested to cancel on the 1st in writing. They finally did cancel me per my request on the first but only after I had to file a report to the dept of insurance, and now they are trying to make me pay a cancellation fee of $70 . I wish I could sue this company for all they have put me through and it is still going on , or a class action would be great for all the millions of people it looks like they screwed over. But it seems they have spent a lot of money on a legal team to handle any issues that come up and will say" oh they signed the contract" which you don't even know what your signing until its to late. read more

They LIE to consumers. I specifically told them that money was not in my account. They HARASSED me daily with a phone call wanting $50 dollars (was only 1 week late). Even asking me to borrow from a neighbor. Once i had the $50 dollars that collections told me i owed i verified information to take that payment then MAGICALLY it jumped to owing $136. I told collections wait no dont process that something isnt right. Don't process that payment. WELL today is 3/7/2018 and they took the payment overdrawing my bank account, the payment that i told the guy not to take was set for 3/9/18 so they took it early without my permission causing my bank account to be overdrawn and an overdraft fee. When i called and spoke to customer service i was basically told tough shit they cant refund it because that is the initial installment. When I asked for the PRICE GOUGE to be itemized they were charging me 211 instead of the 136 TOTAL i was quoted for first and last month insurance, when opening the policy. WHY?????? Because they have a FINDERS FEE of $100 that they LIE about when you open the policy. The guy said there would be a small fee of 20-30 dollars for him helping me open my insurance policy. i paid 95 to start my policy which was only suppose to leave a balance of $60 and they still charged an amount of 136. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO WITH FREEWAY. Now I will be losing more money to open a different policy with E-surance whom ive had before and like very much. They at least dont have hidden fees they LIE about. And they are helpful. read more

I contacted Freeway Insurance via phone to open a new policy on January 4, 2018. I paid nearly $150 to start the policy and I was told several times that my first installment payment would be due the following month, and all subsequent bills would come monthly. I received a bill in the mail for my first installment fee about a week later stating that my first bill was due as of January 25, 2018. Needless to say I was pissed. They did not honor what they originally quoted me. What is the purpose of recording the phone conversation if the broker/agent is not going to be held accountable. I paid $150 for 22 days of insurance as opposed to 30. Had this been conveyed to me initiallly, I wouldnt have had a problem, but I don't like being deceived. I tried contacting customer service and after being placed on hold for more than 20 minutes the agent finally picked up and after explaining my grievance the call was disconnected and there was no attempt for them to call me back. I had to contact them again and wait again for someone to pick up only to be told that there is nothing that can be done about the mix up. Extremely frustrating. I will never do business with them or any of their affiliates (such as Infinity) and would not recommend their services to a friend or loved one. Their rates were no lower than any of the many other insurance agencies in my city. This policy will be cancelled indefinitely. read more

DO NOT USE FREEWAY INSURANCE IF YOU EVER MAY NEED A CHECK FROM THEM---MONEY MATTERS This is my first review because most times companies are not this incompetent. This review is for the Huntington beach office. After sending me a check with my name spelled incorrectly, the nightmare began trying to get another one. I called a few times a week to correct it, giving my name and address to the agent on the phone each time, AND EACH TIME THEY SENT IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. They sent my check to the wrong address so many times, someone cashed it in my name according to them, which HAS NOW delayed my process further, because it now has to be investigated, and today is August 11th when I am writing this review, and I cancelled as of June 26th. Each agent assured me that my check would be mailed to my new address and each one of them still did not forward it to accounting, so then I tried dealing with the complaint department, and their agents also sent my check to the wrong place. Each time I called, they gave me a different date they sent a check which none of them came because they all went to the wrong place. Finally I realize no one there was communicating to the relevant department to prevent the confusion. I asked for quality assurance information to have my calls pulled, and they said that they only randomly record the calls but no calls can be pulled in the event of fraud. If an agent places you on hold, in 14 minutes there is a glitch that hangs up on you. Also the hold system said that my call would be answered in one minute, and 30 minutes went by. Olivia, Jose, lied to me about calling me back. This is a very bootleg company and call center. Supposedly accounting "doesn't take calls", and this was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Furthermore, I still do not have my refund. Sadly they did this to a licensed agent, who trains agents for a living. I am licensed in Accident, Life and Health insurance and have 6 agents of my own, and have no choice but to escalate this issue to the commissioner to protect the rest of the world from this experience. read more
