Worst insurance agent. I been calling for more than a month to Carmen Fierro on Military West Palm Beach and they do not answer the phone. I send a couple emails to her and she said that she was going to call me back and I'm still waiting on it. This place is ridiculously HORRIBLE!!!! I'm not even going to mention her name but she was so slow. No joke, it took her more than an hour just to get everything done. She spelled my name wrong when I kept telling her how to spell it the right away. By the end, she was practically begging us to write a review on Yelp because "it'll help her a lot" I wasn't planning on writing a review because her service was horrible but I just called them and I spoke with two agents. So I used these guys to get insurance through anchor general. I paid the broker fee and all...no big deal...and didnt have any interaction with them since. About a month ago, my insurance lapsed and I needed to get my policy reactivated. I called my insurance company and they said my options were to either mail them a money order, or I could go through my broker. I decided to go through the broker so it would take effect asap, and my insurance agent agreed that that was a good decision. This is where things turn sour. The broker I spoke with had ZERO intention on helping me reactive my policy. When I came in and explained what happened she left to speak to I guess her supervisor and she came back to me saying that my premium was going up because of an accident that I had a year and a half prior. My monthly was to go up almost 100 bucks a month. I said no thats bogus...I had the paperwork from my insurance company that said I was not the at fault party. When I offered to get this paperwork and started to leave she immediately said no no no thats not necessary. Apparently this was because she had 2 NEW policies (from 2 different insurance companies mind you) that were about the same rate as my previous one...but of course with a new broker fee...Surprise! I came to the realization that she never intended on turning my old policy back on, and the new premium she had come back with earlier wasnt my old policy getting more expensive...it was a new one as well so she could make the 2 other options look enticing. I told them all I wanted to do was pay what I owed so I could get my policy turned back on and they said I couldnt do that. I explained to them that my agent said they could and they tried saying he was wrong. I said no...that doesnt sound right. I stepped outside, called my agent again to double check and he said no....all you have to do is pay ____ amount and your policy will be turned back on. I went back in and told them I was just going to mail in the payment if they weren't going to help me and they literally said this: "You cant do that because you'll risk cancellation of your policy" Are you kidding me? My policy was already cancelled! What a joke! Anyway...as long as I never lapse on my policy I (Thank God) will never have to deal with these crooks again. read more

Updated. No one cares about freeways automated customer service. I was on the phone with three different supervisors for an hour at a time to get hung up on! BEWARE!!!!! SCAMMERS!!Juliana cordova is as shady as it gets. Got car insurance through them she asked for multiple different accounts charged them all and no one has any recollection of it. Not one supervisor could even thing of a reason am agent would need seperate accounts for one single transaction. Even spoke with coorperate from western general the insuramce company they sent me too and they too seem to find all of this very shady. Would not recommend. They charge you a "broker fee" and disguise it as a down payment plus monthly payments. And they say it so fast, that you just don't have time to analyze what they are saying. I made a deposit of 147 dollars in the beginning and then after 2 weeks they asked me to pay another 150. Very unclear insurance policy, they don't explain anything properly to you and just try to get your money. read more

SERIOUSLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! Well ratings speak for selves. I was gonna rate 4-5 star. First price quoted was insane. After hassling got a better quote. What completely ruined experience and real eye opener to such low ratings. No itemization is given. After being charged I came to find out there was $175 agent fee. $75 dollar to insurance. So for $75 price gouge you guys get 1 star rating. I think $100 is more than fair and going rate. So again hope that $75 price gouge was worth an unhappy un loyal customer. If I had paid $150 I'd been praising you guys for days. Sad thing they could be a really good broker. I thought freeway was low price insurance, I was way wrong. **Dishonest thieves. Never again** I was advised by the dealership where I bought my car (first car bought in the US, 2 weeks after my arrival) to go through Freeway insurance. I signed up on the phone + with their online payment form (EZBuy), where they told me I needed to put an initial payment of 500$ to start the insurance (monthly contract, 64$/month) - first time purchase, over the phone, foreigner, everything was set-up perfectly for their scam. What they did not tell me was : - Freeway Insurance is a broker ie just an intermediary taking a cut in the middle - The initial payment was just covering the first month, the rest was actually pure "fees" (which represents half a year of insurance...) On top of that, my contract was cancelled after a month without any notice on my side, despite them having my e-mail and address, which means i was driving without insurance for nearly one month. I contacted first Freeway Insurance, which told me to call Infinity (the end insurance in this case), which told me they only received 74$ (the first month) and that I should contact back Freeway. On the second call, Freeway explained the 500$ "down payment" was mostly fees, and only covering one month. I will never again go through Freeway Insurance, and I'm now considering to go after them. read more

Worst bait and switch experience I ever had, and by the time I realized what happened - 20 minutes later - and called to cancel the money was gone. I was quoted a rate of $35 month, then was asked to give a $206 deposit. It was my understanding that this amount would come off of the total invoice. Nope, by the time I realized that the total premium was going to be around $70 month -including the deposit I called right away to cancel everything. They email a cancellation request for you to sign, but since the money transfer happens via bank routing number and bank account number I am screwed. The deposit is non-refundable LOL I cancelled less than 30 minutes after striking a deal to buy $35/month insurance, then realizing the deposit was not any part of that deal... The $206 has nothing to do with the $35/month rate, it was over and above everything. They are thieves beware. They charge you an insane broker fee and disguise it as a down payment plus monthly payments... heres my story. I called for a quote and the lady said $110 down $48 a month for a 96 ford. I asked if it would change when i go into their office she said no. I said well if it does i'm walking out and she said it would be the same. Went into their office for another quote, asked for the bare minimum insurance and they quoted me for something a bit higher. I told them to quote me for what i asked so they recalculated. They came out with this bogus $580 down $64 a month. I said no thats way too high not even close to what i was told on the phone, she said ok let me see what i can do. Came back and said $520 down blah blah, i said no.... She left again and came back and said we can do $480 and we can split it in 2 payments, I said no i'm not anything more than what i got quoted for. Left once again then comes back and asked if i have a credit union, I said no then asked who i banked with. I told her and immediately she said "oh we have a special discount for you" and brought down the price once again, said no. Then asked well how much can you give today? I said what i was quoted for over the phone. After all this back and forth nonsense I told her i was walking out and she said please just wait and talk to my supervisor over to the phone to verify that i took a copy of your license. I asked why and got some BS. Cutting out of this nonsense i waited on the phone till she finally answered and told me its $220 down and payments of $54. I asked why all this BS from this agent she said well i don't know but i'm giving you the straight numbers right now. I said no cause i didn't trust them anymore and left. I realized that they start of with a hefty broker fee aka(downpayment) and if you are oblivious you'll pay it and they get a nice cut. You can talk them down a bit but you'll still be paying a broker fee. I went to another insurance where they don't have broker fees and paid $120 down $57 a month for 6 months of laibility. read more

Not recommended at all. Already told all my people who have this to cancel it. Got into an accident got a new policy had to pay about 400 down and now I can't even get a refund back. The helper told me the new policy should help so I listened paid what I paid called the next day said they can't help me cause accident wasn't with that policy. She was not listening to what I had to say and kept interrupting me. When I said, stop interrupting me she then said "oh no, I'm not going to listen to you." I purchased Multi-State full coverage through Freeway Insurance. My car had problems and had to be towed into the repair shop. The mechanic thought the car had been hit while parked because of the damage to the bar that protects the radiator and the radiator itself. It took three weeks for an inspector to come and look at the car. He responded, after finally examining the car, that the insurance should cover the damage and he sent the report to the insurance company. The insurance company said that the parts were rusted (which the mechanic says is not true). Now, the representative assigned to the case says that the policy won't cover it, but it is still under investigation. It is taking so long that the body shop is going to charge $25 per day. I called the representative to tell them about the $25 per day charge and he never answered. Meanwhile, I cannot get to work. Even my boss has tried to contact the company. read more

Although before I even received a any paperwork or a bill I recieved a cancel noification.
