Bad experience from the start, purchased a 2018 440i BMW back in 2023. Great car 6,000 miles when purchased. Had clue about auto butler service purchase. Been a nightmare since one excuse after another. Either the machine to wash cars are broken, or down to one auto butler service employee. Never once have I received a reminder card to service every 6month auto butler. I always get different answer from every employee I have come across. Seems like the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. I recently had auto butler service done, told the guy Moe who checked me in I have a bad neck and lower back could I wait in lobby. Seems like he did not hear what I said. Told me he did not recommend me sitting in lobby while car is being serviced as they tell all their customers that are getting auto butler service have until 6 pm to complete. Instead of reminding Moe of my physical limitations I left and walked around four and a half hours. To the point I felt like collapsing. When I checked in at 0920 which my appointment was originally scheduled at 0900. But because traffic was terrible I was 20mins late they were not going to take me that day but apparently Moe was able to get me in. I did let them know traffic was bad and I came from alameda. When I called lady named Bonnie answered I asked how much longer they would need, she checked told me let's shoot for 3:30 pm. I returned to the dealer at 1:30 sat down in lobby . I briefly dozed off, when I woke Bonnie and another employee were talking to each other me falling asleep. This seems to be a big issue with the employees at dealership.i feel the need to further explain myself . I had 4hours sleep that night, day prior I had 3 vaccinations which I was still recovering from. And the chronic fatigue and neck and lower back issues. Made walking around draining. So my apologies for falling asleep briefly. When I got home I noticed a scratch in the tint of the back window that was not there before, also the letter I from the emblem 440i was missing. And top it off the lower compartment with in the trunk had not been cleaned. My recommendation to future customers planning to buy from this dealership. I thought I had a deal on a Honda Ridgeline, but was passed off to a used car salesman that added anorther $1k to the vehicle for the Sparten security system that they add on. 1. had to take vehicle in TWICE because the air conditioning unit was not working properly. 2. had to wait over an hour for courtesy pick up from BART station. 3. had to take vehicle to our local mechanic to address concerns about a noisy shaky shimmy and chugging on up inclines (like freeway entrance and hills). was told no issues found. Took to local mechanic for this, which resulted in $750 in TRANSMISSION work. 4. when I call to make note of these things, the "service advisor" Julian Ruck was incredibly RUDE, cutting me off in mid-sentence a few times, talking condescendingly to me to the point i hung up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PURCHASING OR FOR SERVICING. THEY ARE HORRID. read more
