My issue is with the tattoo itself. I had an 11 AM appointment, arrived on time, and had already paid a deposit the day before. For a shop that's recognized as one of the "top 5 tattoo shops in Las Vegas," and all of the 5 star reviews I expected a much higher level of care and attention. I've also tried leaving a review on google 2x and both have been unsuccessful. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this is a permanent mistake made by the artist, not the client. The tattoo is NOT well done. There are visible marks on his hand that were made "by accident," as well as marks underneath and above the tattoo (the random circles and shading) that were never supposed to be there. We only asked for the outline of the car, and it does not reflect what we discussed. He tried covering this up mid tattoo passing it off as "burnout marks" which we denied adding so he had to let us know he "fucked up". He mentioned he had tattooed a full thigh piece the night before, and I can't help but feel like that may have played a role. If that's the case, there should be more consideration around how many hours are being worked and what appointments are being taken, especially when it impacts the quality of permanent work. He did give us our money back, which I appreciate, but that was the least that could've been done considering the situation. Unfortunately, this is something my partner now has to fix. I hope more care and attention is given in the future, especially considering how permanent this work is.

She always has clean lines, great ideas, and is happy to put up with whatever harebrained idea I come up with. It's been such a pleasure being her canvas and watching her blossom into the best tattoo artist. I think I have at least 7 pieces by her now and she's the first one I message when I need something new. She's super responsive and communicative (which can be hard to find in a tattooer!). She moved for Chrome Gypsy about a year ago. The shop is a little bit hard to find if you don't know the area well, but a cool location in a very industrial part of town. The decor in the shop is pretty old-school, in the best way so looking around is almost enough distraction while you're getting tattooed. There are typically other artists there painting, drawing up tattoos, and tattooing so each experience is a fun time. They're so complimentary of each other and hype each other up for every tattoo. Overall, if Dora ever moves, I'm moving with her, but I'm super happy that this is where she landed for now.

This is a participating studio for the new sound tattoos that came out in Jan of 2017 and since…read morethey are still very new I selected this office and artist because when I called to book an appointment and more information on these unique tattoos they were highly knowledgeable and caring. The artist whom did my tattoo was not there and took my contact info and called me the next day. After the initial talk and exchange with my tattoo artist, Chris, he instructed me to set the tattoo over via PDF so that he could draw it up and have everything ready the day of. It has been over five years since I have had any ink and Chris made the process very easy and uneventful. When Chris, the tattoo artist did the tattoo he was professional and explained everything to me setting me at ease. His demeanor was very calming and cool headed. I did not have any issues with the needle until the very end of the tattoo, and he paused based on my mannerism and asked if I needed a break. The tattoo turned out beautifully and and could not be happier with the honor that I will hear when I play it and hear is voice over the app. He also explained in detail making sure that I understood how to care for the tattoo afterwards. He is a fantastic artist and the staff also are highly talented as well.
