    $21 "Croque Madam"

$21 for this "croque madame" in Encinitas...are you kidding me? No prices on the menu (red flag #1), and then this shows up: a single slice of bread, one piece of ham, one egg, and a handful of greens drowning in dressing to make it look like more food than it actually is. This isn't elevated brunch -- it's the bare minimum dressed up as something fancy. No béchamel, no real effort, no substance. Just a glorified open-faced ham & egg toast with a side of overpriced leaves. I don't mind paying for quality, but this felt straight-up deceptive. If you're charging $21, at least make it feel like a full dish -- not something I could throw together at home in 5 minutes. Great location and potential, sure. But value? Not even close.

So many things to choose from on the menu. Wonderful Gluten Free selections and friendly service! We love this Cafe with all its unique delicious and healthy foods! And then there's the amazing coffee selection! We will return here often!!! It was a great experience!

The food and bakery goods are fresh and delicious. There is also a nice selection of drinks but I had water. The service is quick and there is a quaint covered patio in the back with tables and chairs. There is also a bar area with bar stools to sit in the front of the store. There is street parking. I went on a Sunday and was able to park at the post office across the street.

Omelette du Parisian ($16) and Cafe Pistachio ($6)

Corner bakery with lots of breakfast options and fun espresso options. + Omelette du Parisian ($16): ham, cheese omelette with a balsamic salad and buttered toast. Hefty omelette, panini-pressed toast, fresh greens = solid breakfast. (7.8/10) + Cafe Pistachio ($6): double shot espresso w rose, pistachio and oat milk. Asked for less rose, not overwhelmingly flavored or sweet! (8/10)

Pastries were amazing, coffee wouldn't be my next choice if I hangout Encinitas again, there are better coffee next doors. Service was weird, lady with no smile and didn't want explain the name of the white pastry. Nice spot for a short rest. Street parking.

OMG..... absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Cute cafe with one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted (Le Dinde Sandwich) Super friendly staff and the service was amazing, food was served shortly after sitting down. Very relaxing ambience. Can't wait to eat here again.

This place fills my heart with joy. Like seriously. One time i went on a hike by Swamis with my mom and I fainted.... after I woke up we went here because that's how much I love this place. The food is always delicious. The crepes are 10/10. I love the Nutella strawberry crepe. The savory ones are also the best

Perfect find while saying in Encinitas. Glad I checked Yelp. Ordered a turkey sandwich on a baguette, with balsamic. It was delicious. Had a matcha latte and 2 pastries. I'll definitely be back.

    Receipt for breakfast.

At first, a lot of flavors seemed run of the mill and not quite to my preferences but eventually I saw the dreamsicle which was absolutely up my alley. The citrusy glaze was really tasty and the bit of vanilla drizzle was just enough to give it that creamy undertone to check the dreamsicle box. I personally think it was still a bit too sweet for my liking overall but that hot crispy donut texture was...*chefs kiss*! Would recommend as a $3 treat!

What really sets them apart is that the donuts are made fresh when you order them. You can literally taste the difference! They're always warm, soft, and incredibly delicious. We also love that we've never had an issue finding parking, which makes stopping by quick and easy. On nice days, we enjoy taking our donuts outside to eat, and it's become a fun little tradition for our family. Even our toddler looks forward to our donut stop here every time we're in town! The quality, freshness, and friendly service keep us coming back again and again. If you're in Encinitas and craving a great donut, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Wow--what an overwhelming amount of ice cream choices! This place seriously has everything,…read moreincluding a bakery and coffee, so it's a great one-stop spot. Service was pretty quick, which I appreciated. They also offer gluten-free cookies and other baked goods, which is a nice bonus. That said, the gluten-free cookie on its own was pretty bland--but I could see it being much better paired with ice cream. One thing to note: they don't really offer a kids size, and when I asked for smaller portions, they said it would still be charged as a regular--so parents of little ones, just a heads up! The ambiance wasn't super inviting--more of a "grab your treat and go" vibe--but with its prime location near the beach, it's easy to see why it stays busy. Overall, still worth checking out!

Not worth the difficult parking…read more Food: 1/5 One flavor is three scoops of ice cream. We ordered two flavors, which was four scoops, hoping we could split the ice cream into two cups so we would each have two scoops. We asked our server if they could split the ice cream for us--just put two Ube Matcha scoops in one cup, two Cookies and Cream scoops in another. This is against company policy, but they were willing to give us a second cup so we can surgically operate on the mixed ice cream and split it ourselves (??). The Matcha Ube was more green tea flavored than matcha or ube. The Cookies and Cream was good. The ice cream--even if three scoops for one flavor--is just not worth the street parking or flavor mashing. There are other better ice cream places. Service: 3/5 Nothing to say or add. No bad news is good news. Atmosphere: 2/5 Holy overstimulation. There were two other families in the ice cream parlor with us, and we were all being serviced at once at the cashier. It's too small of a room to do that. I would recommend this place to kids 12 and under who live down the street and need a quick sweet treat. Final rating: 2/5
