Yogurt bowl a bit pricey at 11 dollars
    Wendy H.

Adorable!! Tiny on the inside beautiful little patio on the outside. Not a lot of seating so either make a reservation or come at a non-busy time. We wanted something simple so my brother got the acai bowl and I got the yogurt bowl. Both were pretty good quantities and filled us up. The staff was over the top nice. Checked in with us often and refilled Waters. I will give it four stars until I come back and try other items on the menu.

I ordered the BYOO, Build Your Own Omelette. The omelette included cheddar cheese, ham and red bell peppers. The BYOO comes with breakfast potatoes and a slice of toast. This breakfast is very filling and delicious. Whatever didn't get eaten at the restaurant got eaten at home later. The omelette was delicious and the breakfast potatoes were warm and crispy and the slice of toast was good. I received very friendly and helpful service. The vibe of the restaurant is friendly and it has a french cafe feel to it. I purchased a large croissant to go and it was flaky and delicious. I really enjoyed the whole experience.

A French style cafe near the Carlsbad coast, with a small cafe vibe and big flavors, L'atelier de Paris delivers friendly service with delicious options for every taste.

This was the cutest place for brunch however I was very much disappointed by the food and service. I hate it when the restaurant owners put so much effort into a place but then hire the most incompetent people to run their business. With a place this cute and a location this great it's a shame not to invest in a better staff! Food at this place should be served on a delicate dish placed beautifully and there should be authenticity in the french flavor!

The food was great, and the service was fantastic! We ordered the dirty chai, chicken pesto sandwich, BLTA, and fresh lemonade, and everything was absolutely delicious. Karina was so sweet and made us and our toddler feel incredibly welcome. It feels rare to experience such genuinely personable customer service these days. We left feeling so happy that we picked this spot to eat!

We came at about 2pm on a Thursday and no one was there. The patio had nice ambiance with French cafe music in the background. We didn't want to have a heavy meal but we were hungry, so we shared a French onion soup and a Miss Cannes crepe. The crepe is chicken and mushroom with sauce and cheese and both were yummy! My friend recommended coming here and it was a nice relaxing time. Service was great. We will come back again!

I chose to give the place 3 stars not because of the quality of the food, because the food was good it just wasn't something I would say you must try. The service was ok, prices are high but everything is. It was ok to go eat once try it out, but not a place I am wanting to go back for.

A friend referred me here to eat while I'm in town. Seriously it was the best breakfast I had for the past 5 days I have been staying here. Last night I also went for dinner, it was very good. I had mushroom Brie soup with salmon with dill sauce. Definitely I'm coming back a

Went here with my friends after working out. We sat outside in their shaded patio. Service was great. I ordered an avocado toast with a poached egg and it was delicious. I loved that it came with fresh red onions and a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. I also appreciated the clean atmosphere and pretty decor.

The place is super neat, staff are amazing and very friendly! The food is top tier and definitely recommend

The service and the chef in the back are amazing, food is top tier as well and the restaurant is very well kept and clean ! Definitely recommend to bring some friends or familey here they won't be disappointed

Desserts: 5/5 We got a blood orange scone and a strawberry danish. The scone was warm and delicious. The orange essence was well infused. The danish was crispy and creamy. Everything was so picturesque. Food: 3/5 Unfortunately, the food was not the best. We got the smoked salmon sandwich which was not very flavorful. The salmon was also slimy. The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. Lots of chocolate and I think they added toffee in it too. The middle section had pistachio frangipane (or it looked like it) with coarsely chopped pistachios that brought another layer of crunch! Then to top it all off, it had pistachio cream on top of the cookie! I only wish I got another one. CAPPUCCINO It was okay. But love the foam! It was frothy and foamy! PAVLOVA The meringue was a bit too hard and too sweet and the pastry cream was overwhipped. Loved the fresh fig and blueberries though. I was looking forward to eating pavlova and this was very disappointing! KOUIGN AMANN Very buttery and sticky! Crispy on the outside. Every bite was not dry, but chewy. There was this sticky and chewy texture that wasn't unpleasant, yet it wasn't fully flaky like a croissant. But glad it was not dry! The kouign amann was not as tall like others I've tried, but I preferred it this way because it was not dry. The last kouign amann I had from Bread Lounge was dryyyy. But bought mine at a coffee shop too. PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Crispy on the outside, but I must have toasted a bit more, so the outside was a bit more toasted than desired. Inside was good. Good dark chocolate. BUTTER CROISSANT Really buttery, flaky, crispy! Ate it next day, so reheated it in the toaster oven to bring a more crispness all around. Really enjoyed this! Adding butter and jam is so good! LEMON MERINGUE Meringue had a strong eggy smell and flavor, the lemon was tangy, but not enough to rid of the eggy smell and flavor. The tart was hard and almost stale. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. PAIN SUISSE Chocolate flavor. Crispy on the outside, fluffy like a light spongy cake inside. Enjoyed this! CUSTOMER SERVICE Got there early afternoon. There was only one person in front of me. Good service overall. Quick service. Hits and misses of the various pastries I've tried. It will not deter me from trying their pastries though, as the really good ones were really good! Would love to return! Especially for that Choco Chip Pistachio Cookie! Came here based off of a recommendation from one of the bartenders at Campfire. He had told me they had a great non-alcoholic program and amazing seafood dishes. I didn't realize this was a Michelin star restaurant and didn't realize they had a tasting menu but I was interested in a la carte and the options were fantastic. First off, I was wearing flip flops and when I walked up to the restaurant, the people dining outside were beautifully dressed, men in suits, all that. I asked the hostess if I was under dressed and she made me feel so comfortable and said of course not and that people can wear whatever they want in here and that they're not fancy, it's California. Loved that. You never know what to expect coming to a restaurant like this so that initial welcoming was awesome. I took a seat at the bar, I was dining alone and this is a great spot for a solo evening. The restaurant is absolute perfection. I mean the pink, velvet booths, chairs, bar, decor, everything was intentional and just stunning. They had an open kitchen concept, which was just the coolest. I loved watching the kitchen in action. I would say it was organized chaos because every kitchen in a restaurant is chaotic but it wasn't, just organized and passionate. The bartender Colin was so friendly, so knowledgeable, helpful, exactly what you would want in your employee working here. I told him I was traveling up the coast and he gave me restaurant recommendations along my way. The more interactions I had with the staff the more you could tell that the people who work here take pride in where they work and the kind of work that they do. I love that. I ordered the Tonique to start, a non-alcoholic drink with blane aperitif, chamamile, gentian and sparkling water. It was refreshing and delicious. For a bite I had the yellowtail crudo, an absolutely stunning dish. It was so delicious. The woman who brought my food over described it to me in great detail. I felt like all eyes were on me in terms of the stellar service. In reality, the people who work here were all eyes on everyone making sure the experience was special from start to finish and it was. I would love to come back here one day and do their tasting menu, I was visiting Carlsbad for the first time and wanted to restaurant hop so I kept my visit short and sweet. So glad I came in here.

Ambiance and vibe check on point…read more The evening started with an amuse-bouche that was delightfully well balanced. It was the perfect introduction to the meal. I skipped the raw bar and for drinks, I opted to order a cocktail on the menu, Milk Punch: rum, coconut roasted oolong, tarragon. Absolutely loved it... so smooth, balanced, refreshing, and the perfect complement to each course. The Course meals I chose Une (1): Lamb Tartare. Fresh, delicately seasoned, and a beautiful way to start the meal. Between courses, they served warm milk bread with avocado butter. Pillowy soft with rich, creamy avocado butter. Deux (2): Oursin. Rich, creamy, and balanced. I personally like my sea urchin cold, so if you're like me, I would recommend trying another course option Trois (3): Caille. Quail with morels, strawberry, and pistachio. An unexpected combination that came together effortlessly. The thigh part was ever so slightly not as tender as I would have liked. The bottom leg portion was cooked perfectly. Quatre (4): Vacherin. Light, refreshing, and the perfect ending. Not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tart. This was my favorite. Surprise parting bites - a buttery cookie and truffle chocolate were such a thoughtful way to end the evening. Nothing felt overcomplicated or done just to be different. Every dish had a purpose, and the service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. The service was impeccable. I noticed some yelp reviews complaining about the optional 4% fee. It's written that you can ask them to waive the fee. I'm usually skeptical of added fees, especially when service is mediocre and lazy servers still expect a minimum 18% tip. It was refreshing that Jeune Et Jolie didn't. When I first sat down, I absolutely planned to ask have the 4% removed, but after experiencing the exceptional service, I happily left it and even tipped 20%. I'll definitely be back to experience the next seasonal menu.
