Based on location and these yelp reviews I decided to give Nana a try. I am so happy with my nails. She worked very hard to make my nails the perfect shape and did a beautiful acrylic 3d design. Came in on a monday night with my girlfriend. We got our pedicures here. We always go in not speaking Vietnamese so we can listen and here if they are doing things right. Few rules broken here and there. But the only thing I did not like about my visit, is that the young girl didnt cute the corners deep on both sides of my toe. She did not do it until I had already paid and tipped them both. She came back and did and dug more stuff out of my nail. Didnt even resoak my feet. Basically she did the whole procedure wrong. Very average nail salon. Make sure to check your toes or you might have an ingrown sooner then you think. read more

I have never written a review but I decided to create an account just to write about my experience with French Nails. I move to Vegas about 4 months ago working as a card dealer in a casino. I need a manicure so I decided to try this place that I see all the time on my way to work. Since stepping foot in the door here i knew I had found my gem. I was pretty surprise and VERY impressed. The salon is very clean, with nice decor. I was greeted with a warm hello and a nice smile. Nana did my nails, offered me water and there free WiFi too, I couldn't be happier. The care, time and skills of these women is amazing!!! Being a guy I have to say that my experience here was absolutely awesome. Will never go anywhere else again. I called ahead of time and they told it would take around 20 min for a basic manicure. So I went in and I wasn't attended by the nail technician until 10 min. By the time they did there thing, I was there for over 45 min. Mind you it was very simple no aryclic or fancy design just one simple coat of nude color. I'll start by saying that if you know me you know I am a very nice understanding person. I'm writing this review in hopes that I help someone avoid wasting their money here. When I came in there was only one person and one tech, so it was pretty lonely. Then another tech came out and sat me for my pedicure. During my pedicure I did not feel relaxed. They kept complaining about being too booked(but there was no one).. the tech I got was very very rude. She kept texting instead of finishing, Rolling her eyes, sighing, and tapping my foot hard to get my attention. I thought maybe it was just me but when I asked if I could get a manicure done she replied NO. I asked oh really ? And she said yea too booked. So I was understanding and thought she might have a 12 or 1230 appointment. Nope no one came. Usually places are always offering to get the two so I was completely got caught off guard when she replied no and yes rudely. Then this is what really pushed me to make a review. I really was just upset and wanted to go home so I leave and go home and look at my toes and see my pinky has been swiped with acetone and the paint job is horrible. I had a wonderful experience. Mandy and I had such a wonderful conversation, granted I got there pretty early in the morning (around 10 and they open at 9:30) so we had the shop to ourselves for like 40 minutes. She had a few calls come in with people scheduling times to come in but she was right back over to me after ending the call. She was a lovely conversationalist and overall human being. From what I pieced together from the calls it seems that they will be busy until 3/28/18 so I would recommend calling in advance to make an appointment or show up early like I did. Just in case, I plan on scheduling my next appointment. To the nails: I have been growing out my nails for awhile but recent I snapped two of my natural nails. Mandy clipped and filed my other nails to a uniform, short, square shape with rounded corners to give the two broken nails a chance to grow out. She offered her expert opinion in shortening the other side as well to give both my hands a clean look, which I appreciated because I've never been the type to be interested in tips - though she offered those to me too. I appreciate that she took my preferences into account (which sounds obvious because I am the customer but you know other places where the technician will kind of push there opinions on you but she didn't do that and I didn't feel pressured at all). Now I naturally have a picking problem where if any polish starts to lift or chip I can't take it and I end up removing the whole set no matter how recently I just got them done. I relayed this information to Mandy and she seemed to take extra deliberate strokes which I can appreciate as well. She was also very accommodating with my eclectic demand of asking for a different shade of chrome powder on each nail. I should say that she did tell me the price right upfront. She asked what I wanted. Gel polish manicure($30) and with chrome powder on top (+$15) so there were so surprises at the end. I also liked that the hand lotion she used at the end was very clean. Like men's pine shaving cream (which I prefer over heavily floral/rose lotions that seem to be the latest trend). Had a great time and will be reposting this to google as well! read more

My friend and I were around the area so decided to give this place a try. A pedicure is $25 and eye brow waxing is $10. The spa chairs didn't have the greatest massaging capabilities as the chairs seemed older and less powerful. The lady who worked on my pedicure was nice...didn't say much. The massage could have been better as it seemed as if she didn't really want to apply any pressure and it lasted all but 3 minutes for both feet. My friend had a gentleman working on her pedicure and he seemed like he was paying too close to detail as hers took much longer than mine. Worst place ever... my full set was rushed like no other ! I got a full set with gel color and a gel pedi. The lady (young girl with long hair) who did my feet did NOT give me new tools (clippers etc) fresh out the pack nor did she give me a new scrubber to scrub my feet... she was rough with my feet as if I didn't have bones in my feet. For the lady who did my full set , she outta be ashamed of herself for giving me this fresh out of Beauty school full set... there were so many inconsistencies with my acrylic, wasn't smooth. My polish is terrible you can see air bubbles and the polish pattern in my gel due to her rushing because other people were coming in. French nails is perfect. I am a former nail tech and SUPER picky about my nails. I saw Nana with a few minutes notice to replace a full set. She used white tips and advised me on the most inexpensive way to get the look I wanted. Nana was very fast and robotically accurate. I was so impressed with the way she took my direction, took me seriously and listened to what I told her regarding my nails. I will use French Nails from now on when I am in Vegas. The salon is large, light and clean. They have gobs of colors and every service you could imagine. The spa pedi-chairs are newer, clean and in good repair. I would recommend this place to my best (most picky) friend and they would be delighted with Nana. Thanks Nana- see you in two weeks! At first I thought this salon was the best by far, they were friendly, but when they started my nails I was ignored, the two people working were too busy with their conversation to speak to me. That aside I really enjoyed how my nails came out, I showed them off recommending my friends to go there as well. Two days later one of my nails started lifting so I went back and let them know, they told me it was not lifting, it was loose off the nail (lifting) and just glued it down. From that day (tuesday) until today (monday) all of my nails have started lifting. I paid $30 to have french tip nails and they'll all probably fall off before I can get them filled. I got there and picked my color and was told to sit at the first station. As I sat there, the nail techs are all lounging on the pedicure chairs laughing gossiping and completely ignoring me. They didn't have customers! Then she finally comes over and I tell her I want a fill with a design. She tells me she doesn't do designs only one person does. The man behind her, who does designs claimed he was busy. I asked if I can schedule an appointment with him, he refused.
