I got the 3 piece.Everything was right on point fresh and warm .The chicken was delicious. I haven't eaten my dessert yet. They did leave my jalapeño pepper. Try it out!!

Happy 52 anniversary, Frenchy's Chicken!!! I was here to take the $2 special, today July 3 only, (clever play in shape of a dollar sign). Thanks to a pair of hungry eyes, I captured the news from Chron.com and verified it on ABC13 website. I love Frenchy's Chicken, it doesn't matter if it was on sale or not. Ever since I discovered it in Sharpstown years ago, I have been watching for the opportunity to stop by. It is kind of out of my way during weekly grocery shopping trips. However, I made it. Location is pretty convenient from the toll road to this restaurant. Just off of Beltway feeder road and Richmond, connected to a gas station shared with Burger King. It's quite alright to order takeout. Closing the dining room is probably the right thing to do with so many transients in the area. I just wish it was a little bit better lit up. The food was not as great as I remembered from other restaurants. What a bummer. I ordered a 4-piece feast without drink. They gave me one of each breast, wing, thing and leg. Breast piece was huge compared to the wing. The fries and chicken pieces were a little unevenly salted and the thigh was a little burnt. Collard greens were not salty. It was flavorful.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS LOCATION!!! I cannot express this enough. The service was slow and terrible. About five different customers received their order before I did, even though I placed my order before them. Finally when I received my order, it was short four pieces of chicken and a dessert. The chicken was very dry, tough, and overcooked. I should have known that just by the looks of this location it was not going to be good at all. I called the phone number that was on my receipt and online for this location so I could get a refund for my missing items, but no one was reachable because the call went straight to an operator saying that the phone number was not in service. I don't ever write reviews, but because of this terrible experience, I needed to download this app and warn others.

She just put some wings out but they are always small and no meat.

If you're from Houston then you know about Frenchy's Chicken. For the locations that are still open in Houston, they are the best tasting creole chicken around. Is the locations on Scott still open? Well, if they are not this location gives the same great taste, except for the Frenchy fries. I believe they stopped serving them about 2 years ago but they still fry them fresh for you and sprinkled with the seasoned salt. I love they seasoned fries. Their wings will piss you off because they don't have any meat on them. I usually get the chicken strips because they fry them when ordered. They brought back the gumbo but Ive yet to order a cup. They also fry their fish fresh. I like it All fresh and hot so I usually get either the fish or chicken strips. Their red beans and rice is better than Popeyes in my opinion, you will always have a piece of sausage in your cup. You know what pairs well with their dinners? Fanta soda!!! What y'all know about that Fanta soda??? They also serve deserts, I only get the lemon cake fresh from the freezer. Overall they deserve 5 stars because they kept the original recipe that we all know and love.

Cashier was polite and attentive, paying careful attention to my order. The food arrived quickly and was taken home to enjoy. The chicken was excellent. Easily some of the finest around. Unfortunately the surrounding area is filled with trash and drug addicts. Didn't feel comfortable with all of the vagrants loitering around. Disregard the irrelevant one star reviews for this place.

Nothing fancy here. Just perfectly seasoned, hot chicken and friendly cashier. Masks are required and no indoor dining. To-go only. Ask about specials.

Food was pretty good and wait was around 15 minutes so not bad at all. Definitely fresh and not over seasoned. Staff was friendly but very busy. I tried placing an order over the phone but no one answered. Tables are put up to accommodate social distancing so most customers wait in their car or stand around awkwardly inside. Would definitely go again.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

When we arrived, the host let us choose where we wanted to sit. I originally spotted a cozy booth by the window, but since we were asked if we'd like to sit where we could watch the TV during the Cup match, we opted for one of the high-top tables instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake because there isn't any lighting at the high tables. We could barely see our food. Adding pendant or drop-down lighting above those tables would make a huge difference. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend requesting a regular table or booth for better lighting. The menu is definitely unique, though I found it somewhat limited compared to other seafood restaurants. To start, I ordered the roasted oysters while my friend had a dozen raw oysters with all the traditional fixings. The roasted oysters were delicious, but there was so much topping that it almost took the shine away from the oysters themselves. Next time, I'd ask for lighter toppings and no scallions. For my entrée, I had the Halfshell Grilled Redfish. The fish itself was cooked beautifully--moist, flaky, and perfectly prepared. The only downside was the chermoula, which leaned far too heavily on the citrus. The lemon flavor completely overpowered the fish. As my side, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Unfortunately, it had a distinct burnt taste, which made it seem like the roux had been overcooked. A good gumbo should have a deep, rich flavor, but this one was overshadowed by that burnt note. My friend ordered the Jerk Fish Collars, and we both agreed they would have been much better if the fish had been marinated to allow the jerk seasoning to really penetrate. I also ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, and I have to admit I was surprised when it arrived in such a tiny martini glass, especially considering the price. Overall, the quality of the seafood is evident, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I think a few adjustments to the lighting, better balance in some of the flavors, and more attention to details like the gumbo and cocktail portions would elevate the experience even further. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu and hope for a more polished experience next time.

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
