Went here with some friends who actually recommended it from friends and Yelp. The exterior looked like the Italian restaurants you find in a larger city, trying hard to be noticed. The interior was in the same motif, an old school Italian restaurant that's been around for awhile. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our server came over to our table almost immediately. He was friendly, professional and friendly and explained the menu and his recommendations. Even though the appetizers looked amazing, we opted to just order entrees as they came with a salad and pasta. We ordered 2 Chicken Parm's with a Caeser salad side and their homemade Tagliatelle pasta, Bronzino special and a Pasta (homemade linguine). I was one of the Chicken Parm's. DAMN, it was excellent! Very large portions of chicken and pasta with a tomato sauce that was absolutely one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant! It was thick, tasty and clung to the pasta and Parm. I HATE ordering pasta in a restaurant that isn't drained properly and the plate is a puddle with food sitting in it-and this WAS NOT the case! It was a big ass tasty platter of delicious food. The other plates were as large and delicious! For dessert, I had the Espresso Affogato, again DELICIOUS!!! I WILL be back to try some of the other dishes as, for me, unless they do a really good chicken parm, I won't go on!! Great job by the staff! Unfortunately, this is a one and done restaurant for me, and not one I would recommend. Sorry no pictures! We were seated right away, and our server was attentive, almost a little too attentive at times that we felt rushed. The atmosphere was nice, but the restaurant is small, difficult to move around, and the lighting was darker than I prefer. We started with the fried calamari and meatballs. The calamari was good, but the meatballs were disappointing. They were about the size of golf balls which is ok but lacked flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the penne alla vodka, chicken parmesan, gnocchi, and I had the spaghetti special that was finished in a cheese wheel tableside. The presentation was fun, but the food itself just didn't live up to it. The marinara sauce across the dishes was bland, the gnocchi was forgettable, and my spaghetti portion was surprisingly small, more like an appetizer than an entrée. I almost always take leftovers home from Italian restaurants because the portions are generous and the food is rich. This time, there was nothing left because there wasn't much there to begin with. The biggest disappointment was the bread. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I expect warm, crusty Italian bread. Instead, it tasted like ordinary sliced sandwich bread. I actually like Publix bread, but that's not what I'm looking for with an Italian meal. Overall, nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. For the prices, I expected much more flavor, better portions, and a more authentic Italian experience. read more

Caesar salad was boring and the dressing seemed from a bottle. the mushroom soup was dark grey and had the consistency of mushy baby food and didnt taste like mushroom. First off, let me say the restaurant itself is adorable and nicely decorated. My only negative in that regard would be that there are just too many tables too close to each other so people were constantly shifting to let the waiters pass through or let other people sit. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating, but a few others had attitudes and looked like they'd rather be anywhere but there. The food was good for the most part, but the pasta was hard as a rock and doughy... I'm all for al dente, but this was just too much. Don't get fooled by tiramisu. It is inside of a strip mall, but once you walk into it, you're transformed into a wonderful Italian restaurant. Interesting corks and wood on the walls and menus... This is traditional Italian meals with a new flare. The Chianti Toma is recommended and we had the spaghetti matter matter with wonderful seafood. Botello's piccata a little lemony but still good and the saltimbocca... Tender and delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable and the service excellent.. we felt we were well taken care of. Do not miss the tiramisu afterwards. It's fantastic. We particularly liked the caramel tiramisu which we split three ways. I will definitely be there the next time I visit the area. read more

Though the owners are from Italy, they must have trained their current cooks and staff at the Olive Garden. Like so many family owned and operated Italian restaurants in New York, Boston or Chicago, Tiramisu open years ago with exceptional fare and presentation. Sadly, though, over time the owners forgot what made them a success. Today they serve food that is good, (a tad better then the Olive Garden?), but not at Olive Garden prices! We came in for a bday dinner for just my wife and me. We started with a glass of wine and some still water. The violin music was wonderful. Both Italian traditional and contemporary tunes. My wife started with the mushroom soup and I had the dinner salad. Both were tasty. My wife had the chix picata and I had the pasta special made tableside in the cheese wheel on fire. Both Excellent! We finished our meal when the lights went out in the dining room. Completely dark! The violinist starting playing happy birthday while the room joined in song while the waiter brought in a tiramisu with a large candle. This act choked me up!! What a kind gesture! Thank you. We had a great dinner at Tiramisu! We ordered the meatball appetizer and it had a creamy Alfredo sauce which was absolutely delicious. We also had one with fried gnocchi, burrata and prosciutto. The flavors together were great. And finally we all ate the tableside pasta wheel with pancetta. I'm unfortunately allergic to alcohol which they use to melt the cheese in the pasta wheel. They were kind enough to make mine in the kitchen without the alcohol! And we all agreed that was AMAZING!!! To top it off, we saw the actor Scott Baio eating there too! Post an event at the Neel Performing Arts Center, I had reserved a table for 7. We arrived and were seated immediately. The servers were very responsive and attentive this Saturday early evening given they were quite busy. Our group enjoyed a delightful meal with wine, bruschetta & calamari then entrees, finished off with desserts and coffee. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely be back. I think the marsala and piccata dishes were preferred over parmigiana. Be sure to make a reservation no matter what night you go because this place is always busy. If you're looking for authentic homemade Italian food, this is your stop. While it's not cheap the old adage of you get what you pay for certainly pertains to this restaurant I got the chicken Parmesan and it was excellent. My wife got the eggplant Parmesan and couldn't finish it because the portion was so large it was cooked to perfection. Our daughter got the shrimp scampi and said it was outstanding with a very generous amount of shrimp. They have a very large wine selection. The service was good. I would rate this place negative 10. I have never been so insulted in all the years I have eaten at fine dining restaurants. This was a birthday dinner for our daughter. The hostess, who we found out is the owner, couldn't be more arrogant when he seated us. Never saw a smile or pleasantry's . The 4 of us enjoyed our dinner except for my husband who is a retired chef. The waiter was basically incognito. When the check arrived my husband told the waiter he did not like his dinner and showed him how little he eaten. The waiter basically got in his face telling he should have told him. When the check arrived my husband's dinner was still on it. I waved the hostess over and then confirmed he was the owner and advised him of the dinner and the poor service. He took the dinner off and came back to our table to tell us to pay our check and leave in his broken English. The staff were inappropriately dressed in jeans and whatever T-shirt they decided to wear. No one had a personality except for the table side server. We paid nearly $300 to have this experience. I ask you, what has happened to the culinary world? I get better service at McDonald's. We will never go back. read more

Anyone who does not give this place 5 stars is a fool with a peasants pallet. The pasta with clam sauce and two dozen mini clams was outstanding! My wife had the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce which was incredible as well. Both dishes come with a very fresh salad and homemade dressing. The homemade bread was warm and delicious. I worked 21 years at a place called DeFazios in Troy, NY(look it up). I'll take Tiramisu over that all day! Do not leave with out getting a slice of Tiramisu and pistachio canolis. Me and my family party of eight and all of us ordered the pasta mixed in the giant bowl. It was absolutely amazing. I actually had lasagna which was amazing as well. Luca and his wife own Tiramisu - it's in a strip mall and very unassuming. The decor was absolutely great and there are not a lot of tables so make a reservation! Tried the calamari for appetizer. Delish! Bruschetta was cold and had a nice zip to it. I opted for Eggplant Parm, my husband had Chicken Marsala with homemade pasta, the kids got gnocchi with cheese and lobster ravioli. The food came out piping hot. We got a bottle of wine to share which was outstanding- Luca the owner recommended the pairing. We met Luca and found out his wife is the chef! The food was absolutely delicious. We were so shocked at how accommodating the kitchen is here - switching pasta types and even a few off-menu secret items! It was an OK place. Our server was very nice and the place was nice and extremely clean. They were very efficient and someone was always helping us. We're taking care of us and other people around us.. I absolutely loved my Bolognese. I'm not sure how to explain how it tasted different than some of the other ones I've had but it was different but it was great. I really enjoyed it. My husband wasn't as big of a fan of what he ordered but he is really hit or miss when it comes to pasta so I'm not entirely sure if that restaurant. ‍ Really did enjoy the wine and felt like everything was pretty reasonably priced. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the salads and bread. The salad was a little bit stale and it seemed like just random store-bought dressing and the bread was a little bit stale - we did come however very late on a Sunday night so possibly just got the very last of it was available- but that would be my only complaint. I had an absolutely wonderful time and meal at Tiramisu Ristorante. I was visiting friends in Tampa and they kept talking about how amazing this restaurant was for weeks leading up to my visit. On my birthday we went and it really was very very good. I had the lobster ravioli and my friends had the carbonara and the veggie lasagna I think, honestly I can't remember because I was starving and fully invested in my ravioli. The appetizer of caprese which was good, but the salads were really the only disappointing part of the meal. It was bland and not much to it, not that I was expecting it to be some grand salad, but maybe razz up the dressing, or something to make it not feel like you're just eating garnish. The cheese wheel experience was great, and I enjoyed it as it was part of my friend's meal. Then came the dessert, we had the caramel tiramisu and the Italian wedding cake, and both were phenomenal even though I've never even been a fan of tiramisu, it was wholly unlike any tiramisu I've ever had.
