When the repair guy told me there was no warranty on the work because my AC was so old, I knew it was time to stop throwing money at it and replace the whole thing. I started calling around and getting quotes from several HVAC companies. Surprisingly, the pricing was all pretty similar. The big difference was the equipment. A lot of the companies were quoting brands I either hadn't heard of or didn't have much confidence in. Evolution was the only company I spoke with that was using American Standard and really stood behind the quality of the equipment they were installing. That ultimately made the decision for me. The entire process with Evolution was professional and easy. They showed up, got to work, and had the full installation completed in about 5 to 6 hours. I was expecting the house to be without AC most of the day, but they got everything done much faster than I expected. We've had the new system running and love it. The first thing we noticed was how QUIET it is. Our old condenser was so loud that you always knew when it kicked on. With the new one, I sometimes have to actually listen for it to make sure it's running. Replacing an entire AC system is not exactly something anyone gets excited about spending money on, but if I had to do it, I'm glad I went with Evolution. All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem. After so many visits with no real answers, I lost confidence in their work. I started looking for another HVAC company and kept seeing great reviews for AARD, so I decided to give them a call. Scheduling was quick and easy, and they even offered a free inspection, which was a nice bonus. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first and expected a quick visit followed by a sales pitch. That wasn't the case at all. When Joshua came out, he was incredibly thorough and took the time to carefully diagnose the issue instead of rushing through the appointment. He explained what he was seeing, gave us multiple repair options, and even changed our air filter for us before leaving. The next day we received a very reasonable estimate with several options, and once we approved the work they scheduled us within a few days after confirming the parts. On the day of the repair, Allen was the technician who came out. It turned out the issue wasn't the motor at all, but the burner and a few other components. I called and they were quick to respond. I did set up an appointment for first thing Monday morning 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The tech showed up and informed me that he had to come back that afternoon because his crew took some equipment from his truck. That was kind of inconvenient for my tenants because they had somebody there waiting first thing Monday morning as agreed. He came back and troubleshoot the system. At first he told me it would be over $800 to repair. I thought that was pretty high for what needed to be done. I asked him if he can please break down parts and labor. And he said he couldn't. He explain to me what needed to be done. We agreed on $650. Because I was stuck I had to get a Repair because it is a rental. He made it sound more complicated than what it was in my opinion. I do admit I don't know much about air-conditioning. He did install a simple kit and did a little bit of wiring work. It took him under an hour to do. I think the parts that he use couldn't cost more than $50-$75. He was done in less than an hour. Wow I wish I could make that money. To be fair he did get the system going and he was prompt to respond. But I just feel that he was trying to make as much as He could off me. It just didn't feel like a good experience. read more

Other places you need to leave a P/M, and sometimes you don't hear back from them. anyway, within a day they were at my house to fix my A/C system. I was very happy I had my A/C working again, specially with these high temperatures. Jorge and his brother Jonathan did a great job. Five star rating all the way!!!! Had an old heater that wouldn't kick on after having a different company supposedly fix the problem. We gave Fresh Air AC and Heating a call. George was very professional, courteous and punctual we set up an appointment for the next day. After arriving, George explained thoroughly what was going on with the unit and we decided to go forth with a new unit. George was very thorough and found a loose gas pipe in the wall thanks to him we were able to fix the gas pipe while he was installing the new furnace. Jorge is the man for the job. I called other places to fix my A/C unit and non of them did repairs on an " Inverter A/C unit". Jorge made recommendations of what needs to be done and he understood of how the economy is going now. Other places would just leave and take their Diagnostic payments. I normally call the guy I always used to fix my AC and stuff but money was super tight these days so I had to call Fresh Air AC. I am glad I did because they let me make payments on my AC repairs and stretch out my paycheck. They wore masks and everything so I didnt have to fuss about that and the problem was diagnosed pretty quickly. My husband was running an Ethernet cable through two walls and punctured our HVAC duct. We had some pink insulation go to our ac vents and needed to repair it. Sebastian was able to come out same day and take a look at the problem. He provided me with 3 different quotes depending on severity of the damage. I noted he did not have a scope cam but was able to feel the punctured duct through the small hole in the wall. He was professional, friendly and not upselling. Through I did not end up going with him or my other companies (high price for a small repair project), I appreciated his professional approach and fast response in scheduling a same day estimate.
